We have polished the game and would appreciate if the community would give it a go for the second time. We made fixes to the level and have completed the story with chapter 3. We hope you enjoy the game and support our work.
Chapter 3 added!
Hello you guys. We apologize for the long wait. We’ve been putting in a lot of hard work to improve the game. We’ve fixed Chapters 1 and 2, and we added Chapter 3. For Chapters 1 and 2 we made them more cohesive and efficient. As for Chapter 3 we've expanded upon the story of the siblings. With this final chapter you will be able to see if the siblings escape captivity, or not. We hope that these updates will make our game what it was meant to be. We also hope that you enjoy the game and continue to help us improve our games.

Improvements on the way
We are working on improving the art in several ways. We optimized the foliage of the game. We also improved the cotton assets making it look more like cotton. We added in new house assets and a new whipping scene. We also added volumetric fog and fixed the lighting in the levels. These changes allow the game to feel more alive and makes the game look prettier.

With the release of We Walked In Darkness you will be able to try and escape the cotton plantation as two escaped slaves. Your goal the underground railroad. One of Cellec’s most recent releases this game is a platform adventure with puzzle elements. It is meant to give a unique look at what it may have been like for two slaves to try and escape slavery via the underground railroad.
