Patch #3 - Achievements fixed
Dear Dragon Tamers,
a dark, mysterious presence corrupted 2 achievements, but we were able to fix it.
Stitch Demigod:
Stitch progress stopped counting at 5.000. We changed the tailor measuring your stitch progress and you can now become a Stitch Demigod.
Hidden achievement:
Beating a hidden boss didn't trigger the intended Achievement.
If you defeat the last boss of the game now, you get your deserved Achievement for it. If you already defeated this dark, mysterious presence your Achievement should be unlocked in main menu, if you haven't started a New Game since you finished your playthrough.
So be the first to unlock all achievements and get the precious 100% complete ribbon.
Various
- Minor balancing adjustments.
- Various small bugs have been fixed.
- Corrected spelling & formatting errors.

Patch #2 - Achievements & Hint System
this major update contains lots of features and improvements which were directly requested by you, our dear community. Including 41 Steam Achievements, a brand new hint system, a chapter select option, various quality of life improvements and fixes. Thank you very much for your support and playing Weaving Tides!
New Features
- Steam Achievements: 41 Steam achievements are now available for Weaving Tides. Are you a Stitch Apprentice, Stitch Expert or a Stitch Demigod? Who is a Speed Runner and who will complete the Artist’s Palette?
- Hint System: Puzzles and arenas which are necessary for the main progression of the game now contain optional hints by your Weaver companions. These hints will become available if a puzzle or arena isn't finished after multiple failed attempts or a certain amount time has passed.
[previewyoutube="OuZWnUnkMg8;full"] - Chapter Select: After completing the game the new menu entry Chapters gets unlocked. You’ll get an overview of all chapters which shows your completion rate and how many of the available ribbons you collected in each chapter.
Now you can revisit every chapter and fill your inventory with all ribbons!
Improvements
- Dark Weaver VFX: Visual effects for the Dark Weavers were improved to emphasize the different combat states of the enemy and give clearer feedback to players.
- Dark Weaver behaviour: the Dark Weavers’ stitched down phase was balanced to better match the games overall difficulty.
- Chapter 5 conversations: New optional conversations of your Weaver companions are now available in chapter 5.

Patch #1 - Steam Language Support
Dear Dragon Tamers,
after the exciting launch we eagerly gathered your feedback and bug reports to put together a first patch. This patch includes Steam-language support, gameplay improvements and various fixes. Thank you very much for playing!
New Feature
- Steam-Language support: Weaving Tides now supports choosing the language for a new installation via language settings in the Steam Library for new players.
- Setting the language ingame in the options Game menu still works the same way as before and sets the language which is saved for the game.

Improvements
- The RagEater is still sneaky but not unfair: The maximum amount of damage has been balanced and there is now a longer interval between consecutive hits.
- Localization fixed for Vsync options in Graphics menu.
Bugfixes
- Critical: Soft-Lock fixed in Raffia Thicket where players were unable to progress and had to take an alternative route.
- Narrative events after first fight against Dark Weavers were fixed.
- Multiple versions of the same Weaver NPC could appear in the Mothkin Empire Tidal Vortex. We made sure to shoo these imposters away!
- The Spun Forests had an area where you could fly out of bounds. This is very dangerous so we closed it!
- We convinced a very mean Toothy Flower to not endlessly trap players.
- Fixed small issues with Flower Bulbs / Mandalas in The Mothkin Empire.
- Jammed gate in Temple Ruins unlocked.
- Various small bugs have been fixed.
- Corrected many spelling & formatting errors.
Future Patches
- Achievements: We are working hard to implement Steam Achievements in one of the following patches, including some special achievements you will only find in Weaving Tides.
- Chapter Select / Collectible Overview: Many of you would like to have a chance to collect all missed collectibles after finishing the game. We are currently evaluating different solutions and will keep you updated on our progress.

Dev Update - Myth Statues, new side quests and the library
we’re back! As we mentioned in the last Kickstarter update we currently focus mainly on porting Weaving Tides to Nintendo Switch - however we also squeeze in some neat new features here and there which we want to show you today, so here we go!
Development Progress
Myth Statues
During your journey in the woven world you will come across the Myth Statues. The ancestors of the Mothkin erected these statues in the likeness of the goddess Dea to pay homage to their beloved deity and record the history of their homeland. They tell of myth, mysteries and times long past. But not only that, some will also put you to the test with tricky puzzles.
Pull on the hoop to activate the puzzle. Once you find the right sequence you will be rewarded.
Lost little Yapper
Don't be fooled by the sharp biters. This yapper is perfectly tame.
Oh look how cute! It seems like this little Yapper has lost its way. Will you be able to bring it back to its owner safely? We’ll find out once you play this little side quest in Weaving Tides : )
Library
If you remember during the Kickstarter we had a reward called „your message in the game“. So many of you wrote amazing little poems and uplifting messages. Thank you so much for all the effort you put in! It was such a delight for us to go through all of your messages.
You might be wondering where they will come into use. In the heart of the Mothkin empire lies the library of untold tales. A private collection to the emperor which houses a vast amount of old tomes and relics. Built to investigate the history of the ‚old ones’.
Here you can see a little glimspe of an early layout of the library. In the gif above we used a lot of placeholder assets, the final one will of course look a lot more pretty. There will be a lot of cozy little nooks which will allow you to browse through the various texts.
It’s getting increasingly difficult to find things to show you which do not lead into heavy spoiler territory - but this also means that we are getting close to completion!
