Hope you’re well! Last week was a big week for Weaving Tides: we went live on Kickstarter and announced that we’re bringing our cozy puzzle adventure not only to PC and Mac, but also to Nintendo Switch.
To celebrate, we have a brand new Gameplay Trailer on YouTube and on our Steam store page. Unless you’ve been lucky enough to play our game on previous gaming events or closed demos, this is the first time everyone can play our free demo, which is also available via our Kickstarter page.
I’m Verena, you may call me Ren, and at Follow the Feathers we’ve been working on this charming game for some time. Back in 2017 we started with some prototypes and I felt completely intrigued by the idea of creating a magical, woven world. It offers such a vast number of creative possibilities while at the same time the cozy nature of textiles invites you to stay.
In the world of Weaving Tides you solve puzzles inspired by weaving, sewing and stitching, and solve the looming mystery of this woven world before it’s torn apart at the seams. You play as Tass, a young boy raised by 'Weavers' - dragons that have the ability to repair the tearing landscape. Befriend them, and they’ll lend you their own unique playstyle. If you need a moment’s rest, you can unlock colourful ribbons to create your own digital embroidery in the creative Playgrounds mode.
At Follow the Feathers, we’re all about creating magical experiences which captivate players through their curious game mechanics and mesmerizing art style. We’re putting our hearts and souls into Weaving Tides and we think you’re going to absolutely love it!
