What's new? Hello Farmers! Heres's the patch notes for the latest maintenance patch:
Sell Fixes *Fixed a bug that caused selling items after each other to take longer and longer and eventually freeze/crash.
*Fixed some smaller performance bottlenecks when selling items.
*Modified the selling system that you can sell all the same type of item at once, you no longer need to sell for ex. joints one by one.
*When you drag an item from your inventory to sell it disappears from your inventory and shows up only in the sell panel. (if you cancel the sell or close the shop it gets back to your inventory)
Vehicles *Flipped vehicles now should auto-reset and unflip themselves.
Game Mode Tweaks *To further differentiate sandbox and simulation gameplay and playstyle for every sold item you get 2X the money in sandbox mode.
*Added a back button when you select a game-mode in a loaded save and click on the game-mode hints (there was a close button top left but it wasn't that obvious)
Multitool *Updated the multitool's highlighting system to be more visually consistent. The line from the multitool's end shouldn't break now.
Mistype *Fixed a typo in the DeepChill Bud's description (prefect instead of perfect)
The update is now live, you might have to restart steam for the update to show up.
Update2 patch3 Is now live! Electric switches, multitool, fixes and more
The newest patch is now live for the game! This patch's focus is addressing feedback and fixing bugs.
What's new?
GameModes This update introduces game modes. You can select a game mode for your existing save or select one when you create a new game. Currently, there's 2 with a Sandbox and a Simulation mode.
Electric Switches Now you can use switches to turn on or off your electric equipment as well as a light-sensitive automatic switch that you can use to toggle your electric objects at night or at daytime.
Multitool Added a multitool to the default inventory. You can use this to move or remove your placed objects (electric, decoration, sticks etc..)
Time of day speed Slowed down the time of day system's speed by feedback. Previously a full 24-hour cycle happened in 20 minutes, now it's 35.
Battery Power By feedback increased the battery's power from 2000w to 3000w. With this and the automatic night switch, now it should be enough for the night. (but I'll keep an eye on this)
Plant watering with the Jerry Can You can now water plants with the jerry can too. This was not intended but was reported as a bug and it makes sense. Water from the can or the jerrycan should be the same.
Plantersticks are not sellable anymore Temporarily took out the planter sticks from the sellable items. They sold for way too much and made the game economy pointless. This might be revisited in the future.
Built-in FPS meter Added a built-in FPS meter that you can toggle in the Debug menu.
Tutorial Added a tutorial description for filling your watering can with water.
Fixes
Can't sell bug Fixed a bug where if anything physics-related (like a vehicle) blocks your laptop in the container you can't sell stuff because the game thinks you want to drop the sellable item to said physics object.
Can't delete older saves Fixed a bug that prevented the deletion of the saves that came from the older save system.
Clockbox Fixed a bug where your clock box disappeared once you entered a vehicle.
Yellow line in the world Fixed a visual bug where a yellow line appeared in your world without any purpose.
Can't load save Fixed an issue where the game would stuck on the loading save screen when loading a game.
Landscaper achivements Fixed an issue where you needed to cut 100 trees to get the achievement instead of 10 and the second and third stages not getting activated.
Update 2.0 hotfix 1
The first patch for the new update is now live!
What's changed? *Fixed an issue where some plant's models were still visible after harvesting and or plants would appear as fully grown when planting and became small later on.
*Fixed a mistype in the tutorial instructions
*Fixed a graphics issue where flowers would cast big and long cube-like shadows
*Fixed a physics bug where cut down trees just roll around on the ground and don't break
*Fixed a visual issue where if you harvested a weed, the falling leaves looked like another breed's leaves.
