Happy to say that work has resumed on the last episode, although it will take a backseat to the penultimate episode later on in 2023, as I start getting that ready for release towards the end of 2024

So far, the prologue for this episode is being re-written again. Bree will be returning and the denouncement for the main story will be available from the title screen.

I am extremely behind schedule, unfortunately, but this will be released eventually!

Contrary to some people's ideas, this isn't abandonware - at the moment, I've two other visual novels in development

The third and last part certainly hasn't been forgotten, and will be released once all the CG's have been completed, and everything has been tested.

It does have to wait in line for the other episodes though, so it's going to be another several years at least, unfortunately.

This certainly wasn't in my original plan, but I have found there is quite a bit of storytelling to do.

Changeover done
The updated story has now been released into Early Access. The program still has some bugs and various things to sort out, but it is playable

I've updated the game to include a new title screen, music player, gender selection and the protaongist graphics.

You will may have noticed that some parts of the story have now been removed (because they are no longer fit the narrative). There are lots to be added though, and general story tweaks. That won't happen for a long while yet, though.

The DLC's haven't been updated yet, and may not work - that will come a lot later on, unless people mention it.

If you want to play the game and have the DLC's, you will have to remove the RPA files manually

At the moment, I'm close to half way through the chapters, putting in the protagonist expression commands.

So far I need to add one new section, and rewrite four.

Game progress
Finally, I've started updating WTC 3. This will take place, when possible, whilst NightFall's graphics are being created, and of course, once that has been released, will be working on this fully - although by that time, there shouldn't be too much left to do.

Things that have already been updated include using the new gender selection screen, Extras menu and menu items.

What needs to be done includes a new title screen; (possibly a new time travel animation); updated title and end credits; updated story (there will be some new bits and anything relevant to the previous episodes will be updated too); updated Encyclopedia (as there are new characters); protagonist graphics; gender specific dialogue (although there won't be much - there will be a gender specific bad ending though); graphics (backgrounds and hopefully CGs)

I am thinking of replacing Agent 3/3.14 with Cody and/or Myrtle as really the former character isn't really needed any more.

The reason for Lorinda's behaviour will be changed (due to events in NightFall), and general building layout will be updated accordingly.

I also need to get rid of a lot of narration.

I have decided that there most likely won't be a second series - the ending I have been thinking about, will be in a small interactive epilogue instead.

Release
With the announcement of NightFall being released around mid-2021, I'm hoping it won't affect the development of this episode too much.

Whilst there will be some re-writing needed (in addition to gender specific dialogue), any delay shouldn't be too bad

News
I had hoped to be able to get this released by the end of Q4 2020 - however, as Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part III : Nightfall being coded, and the need for WTC 3 to have graphics created, gender specific text and dialogue updated, I have set the release date to be no later than the end of 2021, hopefully sometime in Q3, but we'll see.

WTC 3 will get released, so no worries there !
