Update
This is a rather more substantial update, although there are a few things left to do.

Fixed some spelling errors; chapter names now have an animated background; PC Swirl graphic has been updated and finally correct fading in of in-game GUI after chapter name has been displayed

Preliminary update
This is a very slight update, and has only been released due to the fact I'll be working on releasing No Extra Regrets, and won't be able to continue with this one for a while.

First of all, there are new title menus and in-game GUI. The logo animation has also been updated.

In keeping with other versions, all characters have now had the excess space removed. However, silhouettes have not had this process done yet, and so will be out of position when they talk. This will be fixed when I get time to resume updating.

An update has been started to bring the gender selection screen up-to-date with later episodes. In addition, some spelling and grammatical errors will be fixed.

I would like to add animated cue cards as well, but I may leave that for another time

Small update
WTC 1 has now been updated slightly, ready for when NightFall is released at the end of 2021. I hope to be able to do one very final update for this, possibly around the middle of 2021 which will add a few currently missing features.

This update has a new gender (and mode) selection screen, and fixes a few name display errors from the last update,

Most importantly of all, the DLC's will be retired and are now in the main game

Updated has started
An update has started for this visual novel, and will most likely be the last one.

It'll add a few new scenes, which take into account options from WTC 2 - Part III

It'll also fix a couple of naming errors that slipped by during the transition to multi-persistent names.

No idea when it will be released - hopefully before the end of the year

Slight update
The silhouettes have been updated and the main menu now uses the same icons that WTC OVN 3 and No Regrets use.

There are a few more graphical enhancements I may do later, once everything has been released.

Slight update
There has been a slight update to this, to bring it slightly up-to-date with the later versions :


  • Random gender routine has been updated, as has the order that gender and name is selected
  • The "Nice and Cheaty" achievement should now be activated if you don't have it

Update
The last update for this episode is now out. It now features three prologues, an updated end credit sequence and a couple of new achievements.
