After the release we got some invaluable feedback from and our players and streamers. The biggest concern turned out to be unpleasant motion sickness during some extreme wheelchair stunts.
Now we're rolling out new patch that:
Makes camera movement smoother
Reduces wheelchair turning speed
Adds subtle screen vignette when you’re riding fast.
Removes camera flips when you’re hit by moving objects like cars and trains.
Fixes occasional blurriness on Vive headsets.
That altogether should drastically reduce motion sickness (while keeping the excitement of flipping a wheelchair off a mountain).
Try it for yourself!

- Fixed some achievements being awarded unearned. We’re generous though so you may keep them :)
- Added game icon.
- Fixed some minor typos and bugs. Probably added a few for future hotfixes though.
Learn more about the story behind the creation of Wheelchair Simulator VR
Wheelchair Simulator VR came about after ViRa’s game designer Igor Kachinskij and the team saw videos Schebetyuk and his Dostupno UA initiative were putting online. “They made us realise that Ukrainian cities are very poorly adapted for people with special needs and these issues are almost completely invisible to “normal” people,” said Kachinskij in a statement. “So we decided to change that”.
