Community Request: Improved Skip Function
Dear community,
After our last post discussing the Skip feature, we've had a lot of feedback on what you think about it and how we could improve it to make your multiple playthroughs more enjoyable. We are proud to announce that we have listened to your feedback and the new and improved Skip feature is now live!
What's changed?
Once you have experienced the story for the first time, you will be able to skip any video. Additionally, if you have not seen the video before (even those that are similar but will have additional content) you as the player will be in control and get to choose whether to skip or not.
To do this, you simply have to hold down the skip button to move on. For any videos you have not seen, when you hold to skip you will see the warning "THIS SCENE CONTAINS NEW INFORMATION. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SKIP?".

First and foremost we would like to thank you, everyone, who has been playing recently, we have enjoyed watching your playthroughs, reading your feedback and have been taking notes of all your suggestions.
One feature we recognise could have been explained better is the Skip function. To some, it may appear as if it's bugged or broken but the skip feature is only granted after your first playthrough of the game. It's a reward for your completion and to make it easier to fastrack past the scenes you've watched to unlock the hidden clues/stories or collect achievements you missed.
Be careful what you skip! Some scenes may look similar to ones you've already watched but they can most definitely end differently. There is more information and possible evidence up for grabs in the new scenes that will help you find the killer. Even some extra story information for each character at the end of the game.

A Closer Inspection: Find the Poison, the Proof, the Killer
Find The Poison
Play the yearly family quiz and team-up with the members of your choice where you will secretly interrogate them via on-screen choices. Get familiar with the family, someone must still have the poison? It's a who's who of new and familiar FMV actors including Andy Buckley (The Office), Robbie Kay (Pinocchio), Al Weaver (The Complex) and Georgia Small (Five Dates, Bloodshore)
Find The Proof
Throughout the game you will collect evidence on each character, which you will use to determine who the killer is. At the end of each game round you will have a chance to review the evidence of the person you teamed up with. HINT: You can also review each character's evidence in the main menu!
Find The Killer
So you think you know who poisoned Uncle Marcus? It's time to accuse them! As long as you've got enough evidence to support your accusation, at the end of the game you can accuse that member of the family. Regardless of whether you choose correctly or not, each character has their own story, their own secret, that will be discovered at the end of the game.
