Well, radio silence is temporarily over and it is high time we told you something.

Firstly, a test build of the new winter episode is ready and has been incorporated in the game.

The build features the following:
1.New sprites of the main character and NPC (from remaining source-codes)
2. New mechanics (beat ‘em up, stash)
3. Cool episode background
4. jokes and gags

Just download the update and check it out.
Saves are working, how could it be otherwise?

Secondly, we would like to compliment everybody who shared our call for help. It was thanks to you that more that 10 people joined our team. Among them are artists, programmers and simply fun guys, eyes ablaze with enthusiasm. Due to the present circumstances, we must pause, albeit, involuntarily, the development of Wicked Games. This doesn’t mean our brain child has been dumped or back-burnered. We will definitely come back when we have enough drive and opportunities.

Sibcat Team isn’t quitting game development – quite the opposite. With the advent of fresh and boiling blood our renewed team has taken up working on a brand-new project in the same universe.

All this time hasn’t been wasted: we have come up with conception, organized working relations, determined the plot, visuals and gameplay features.
A part of material is ready, now we’re writing the script, have launched recoding. Also, we are drawing sketches of new locations and characters.

Yes, you got us right – we are deliberately avoiding being specific and waffling; suspense is ought to have presence, after all. But there is a concrete purpose for that.
Stay tuned, brothers and sisters, for announcement of a new, with whole peanuts and chocolate, game, is approaching.

Without further ado, congrats on reaching one more nice round number of 30,000 downloads! But the main thing is that the mug isn’t nicely round.
As always, this is all because of you. Thank you for watching, waiting, liking, commenting and so forth. There are a lot of plans related to the sequel, and it takes time, effort and brain stamina to bring them to life. Unfortunately, not all of these components are always in excess, but no one is going to leave.

And to prove it, soon we’ll show you already drawn interiors of several buildings for the third episode, and for those who support us on Boosty - even portraits of NPCs.

The holidays and extremely busy January have a bit silenced our community radio wave.

Firstly, our demo version has reached 20.000 downloads!
The next (but not the last!) significant number on our journey!

Secondly, we are going to provide our Boosty subscribers with some new visual content from the production very soon.
There will be many interesting things to check out!

And thirdly, we keep working on new main gameplay mechanics for the next episode and thinking on some funny additional features to improve gameplay experience and deeply immerse you into the plot and the atmosphere simultaneously.

This long, hard year, rich in events of varying importance, significance and nervous tension is finally nearing completion.

We’d like to avoid talking about the incidents of the external, so to say, circle, therefore, let’s summarize work and time spent with you in this small community.

To start with, we managed to assemble a diverse but solid squad.
Each of the Sibcat Team came here at different times and for different reasons, but we all share love to one common cause, your feedback and the success of the game itself, which just proves the propriety of the decisions we made, as well as the right development vector we chose.


Largely thanks to these remarkable factors, the demo was released and we started working on the sequel with the same level of enthusiasm we had writing the first lines of dialogues, code and sketches in Aseprite.

There were many troubles, difficulties and disputes to this day and, no doubts, there will be even more in the future, but this never stops or flusters any of us, and if it does, we deal with it together helping the one who’s discouraged get back into our strong team.

In two seasons we’ve done a lot, especially for a small indie studio, so we express our most sincere appreciation to those who have been there with us all this time, supporting, helping, investing their time, energy and creative impulses in the project - we remember and deeply respect each of you.
The realization that complete strangers provide sincere help to us makes our team not lose faith in humans.
This means that the results of our efforts reach the right people.

And we can’t help but mention you, our dear subscribers, game players and just casual viewers from all rooms and floors of our common house that is the planet Earth. We differ in cultures, languages and worldviews, but we all love good games… both to play and create them.
You give us, probably, the most important thing - your attention and support. Any of your activities makes our heart smile and gives us motivation to share something new with you.

Therefore, this kind of confession will be completed with the loudest textual congratulations on the upcoming Christmas and New Year!
Someone will meet the holiday with family, with a loved one or with true friends, and someone will stay alone - it doesn’t matter. What really matters is that even 2022 will take all the problems and miseries with it and will disappear, leaving us life experience. An experience that is useful in any of its forms.
And then each of us will continue to write the story of our life from scratch, leaving all the bad staff behind and moving on to new achievements.

As they say: "If not us, then who?".
Hooray! Hooray! It's a Holi-Holiday! Relax, gather strength - there’s a lot of work ahead but no less number of victories on all fronts of your personal existence!


New updates on development

Rise and shine, my dear fellows, ‘case we’ve finally got some brand updates concerning the third episode!

First of all, our programmer has finished cleaning up all the code and refactoring the engine itself, so now he is working on new mechanics for the continuation of the story of Adan Kaider’s journey in Obscura.

To begin with, he decided to develop the inventory mechanics, because this is one of the things that boosts the gaming experience and you will need in future episodes.

Next, our artists keep renovating sprites of the characters, their portraits and simultaneously are working on the main part of the episode, in particular buildings, surroundings and landscape.

Oh, nearly forgot! Y’all remember that website thing we were talking you about? We’ve finally managed to fix and reduce all the issues with version for mobile devices and different computer screen resolutions so now everybody is able to use it for one’s sake! Go, dig into it, and don’t forget to check the CVs of the people who helped us!

Progress was made, that's true, but there are many more things to do, so you will be provided with some more fresh and nice-smelling ready to meal news, we assure you!

Halloween, news and website launch!

We’re breaking into this, undoubtedly, scariest day of the year with a sudden jumpscare-hello.

Happy Halloween to y'all!

Dress up, mount your brooms and grab your news baskets cause we're gonna fill them today!

First of all, big thanks to everyone for being active.
The Wicked Games demo has 17,000 downloads and 111 reviews so far!
Our progress (both outside and inside) is gathering pace that is certainly welcome!
Lots of new and, no doubt, cool people have joined our social networks for these 3 months. And we love you to bits proving it not only in word, but also in deed: we smoothly keep providing new content for you.

Secondly, we believe that it's not reputable to have a game without having a website about it.
It's as natural as a tree without a caterpillar.
So today we finally launched a website, real, animate and moving one - wickedgames.fun
(There is only PC-version yet, but we are working on it!)
There you can find information about the game, links to all relevant social networks and get acquainted with the full complement of our team.

And thirdly, work is in full swing: the artistic and script components of the introduction are ready and tested, the game code is being given the finishing touches, optimized and updated, and we are simultaneously working on the main part and the conclusion.
In the third episode, as mentioned before, you’ll find new gameplay mechanics, characters, opponents and the first moral choice on Adan Kaider's long and thorny path to the ticket to Paradise.

There is still much work to do, yeah, but it's worth it.

Today is another special day for our team.

We reached 10.000 downloads and 57 positive reviews within only one month! To be honest, it's still hard to believe that so many people tried our product and remained chuffed.

All this happened thanks to you and your support, my dear boys and gals. In return we are going to keep providing you with new visual (and soon audio) content to ensure you that we are not slacking (well, mostly).

Voice acting fix + supporters in the credits

Bugfix: Voice acting fix (while disabled it remained in the cutscenes).
Bugfix: Disabling voice acting disables all audio.
Changes: Added names of our Boosty subscribers to the credits.
