Bot Difficulty Option and New Maps In Progress
Hello all! Quick update here. The launch has been smooth and we thank everyone for supporting us. We will be adding a bot difficulty option in our next patch. On top of that, we are also working hard on the next 2 maps (Ramskull's Grave and Crusader Guard), which are themes based on Ramskull and the Crusader's history. The maps will be released for free and will be included in the next major update.

Final Build Version 1.0 is Live!
Hello all, Wickland final build version 1.0 is live! Please remember to allow Steam to update the game to the final version as we will be taking down the servers for the update. The servers will be down for 15 minutes and should be back online shortly!

Be sure to check out our new trailer as well, which is also included in the patch. The movie will load automatically when you start the game. You can also watch it on our youtube channel.

Hey all! We've just completed 2 new maps as we are working hard towards the final build of the game. Didrik's Den and Neymar's Hideout will be included in the next patch. Below are some screenshots of the new maps:

Patch 0.4.1 Beta Live! - Bots in Warmup and VAC temporarily reverted
We've added bots by default into the Warmup arena now. There will always be bots in there unless there are enough human players in which case the bots will despawn.

Also, we've temporarily disabled our VAC system so that those who have global VAC bans can still play. We are in contact with Valve about how we can specifically block people who have only been caught cheating on Wickland itself. Not globally. Our apologies for those affected by this.

Patch 0.4.0 Beta – Maintenance – Jan 23rd @ 12:30am – 1:00am PT
A big update today! The number one requested feature and one of our Early Access promised features was having bots to practice against. Grab the latest build and frag some AI.

Features

  • Bots (via Practice Mode)
  • VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) support. Players banned by VAC are no longer able to play online.
  • First person spectating (press "jump" while spectating to toggle 3rd and 1st person)
  • Spectate view includes player name in HUD so you can see who you are spectating


Bug Fixes

  • Preventing black/unlit models in the Camps
  • Match running timer now in sync across all players and spectators
  • Tass beam offset when hand models disabled

Patch 0.3.5 is now live! - New Map!
Time for a new map. The Tass Laboratory Map is now included in v0.3.5 of the game which has been pushed to Steam earlier today. Some other patch notes include:

  • Human now starts with 200 health and 200 armor at the beginning of a round.

New Map! Tass Laboratory will be included in the next patch as well as more tweaks to the game. We plan to release the update tomorrow. We hope you guys like it!

Congratulations to noctis for winning this month long ESL tournament! He will be walking away with a 24" AOC Gaming monitor. DsT-UrSuS picks up the 2nd place price of an OCZ Storage Solutions SSD drive, and Alieno18 will take 3rd place with an X2 headset and gaming mouse pad. Congrats to all the winners and thank you to all of the participating players.

ESL Cup Finals - January 11th
