  • Items now have a tier color as well as an elemental color.
  • Drinking potions now slows your movement speed for each potion drank in a small time frame.
  • Dying will now incur the cost of -20% gold but you can retrieve it from your death location. there is also an indicator for the location making it easier to get back to where you died.
  • New spell Town portal, summon a crystal to teleport you back to the Crystal town, at the town you can use a crystal to return you to your previous location. this makes buying potions or selling items a lot easier.
  • To obtain the town portal interact with the respawn crystal to learn.
  • New INN is located in crystal town, rent a room and get the option to rest until night or the next day. this gives you the ability to skip seasons or do some harvesting.
  • Monsters no longer spawn at night. The night is a safe time to explore and reclaim unreachable death locations or harvest materials without interruption. The night is short but the duration may be increased in the future.
  • Levers do not work during the night.
  • Crystal Town now has airships traveling to all towns
  • Town vendors will now always sell gear at least a tier above your own this means you can always find relevant gear at a merchant, but the cost of that gear is very high.
  • Gear and items increase in power as you level so gear dropped by level 10 monsters will be less powerful than level 20 etc...
  • Monster density and monster respawn had greatly increased.
  • Health and mana regen has greatly increased
  • Health and mana regen contributions from gear have been fixed (old characters may need to unequip all gear log out then reequip all gear to have them function properly for old gear)
  • All spell's base cooldowns have been changed to 1s tornado boulder etc
  • Staff damage has been doubled
  • Attack damage has been increased.
  • Casting spells in short duration now increases the mana cost
  • There is no longer a cap on summons but mana upkeep for each monster summoned
  • Summon skeleton health and damage greatly increased
  • The tutorial has been shortened
  • The first Crystal is now a chain quest and should be working properly the should help you gather all the shards for the Crystal element.
  • Flying monsters and airships have been set up but will not be interactive until the next hot fix.

Dynamic Dialog is now live!

Dynamic dialog (still not fully complete)

NPC can now have hearing and vision and have different dialog depending on things like time of day weather season etc. also if the player does something like break a fence next to them or knock over a tree or something.
Followers can now tell you about the area they are in, for now, they just know about the crystal islands and the fire islands but have the rest in a coming patch.
To talk to any NPC just press F near them.
Fire spells now burn tress and monster that die from fireballs will catch on fire
The same is true for any spell with different effects depending on the element of the spell
Tornado now has more wind around it blowing trees and grass near the area.

Next to be added, you can now use stats in conversations like int or str
Spells to capture monsters then use dialog to find their hidden lair for treasure or quests etc.

Patch V0.4.4.4 is now live!

I apologize for the long delay I was working on the new dialog system for the NPC it's not finished yet but I didn't want to go too long without an update.
I will now return to my regular update schedule

Fireball should cause fewer frame drops when cast
Monster respawn time has been reduced
The monster level scale has been adjusted
Updated the Dialog system and non-destructive interaction system, some NPCs vendors may be inactive until the next hotfix
Fey Starsong now gives you a quest for each of the Crystal Elemental shards.
Started adding the net code for multiplayer, no timeline on when multiplayer will be available

Fixed a bug causing crashes when spell weaving or just fighting large groups of monsters you should be able to go crazy now with no issues let me know

  • Recalibrated enemy levels a bit, please keep informing me on difficultly and include how many shards you have collected.
  • Shrine Guardian now dies properly
  • Second tutorial monster no longer spawns until you get closer and has had it level adjusted
  • Tutorial exit should now be more visible

Mining pick should work again
Putting points into mana cost will lower the cost instead of raise it
Monster difficulty raised a small amount
Pirate Airship should no longer vanish when your flying it, but all airships need s few more update before they all work as intended

Patch V0.4.4.3 is now live!


  • Tier 2 gear has been added and is dropped from elites or Boss mobs these offer extra effects like mana regen and health regen for armor and status effects for weapons the rest of the gear tiers are also complete but I wanted to add in one at a time to make sure all the effects are working properly.
  • Adjusted monster levels to be more in line with player levels
  • A new spell Crystal Locator can now be acquired from a shrine in the forgotten ruins next to the crystal shard, this spells creates a small crystal that flys in the direction of the lever for those hard-to-find levers (let me know if this is helpful or overkill)
  • A new spell Crystal Exchange converts health to mana found from the boss of the Spirit leaf event, take the spirit leaf quest in the first town to find the location
  • Item compare no longer compares items already equipped
  • Death's door event has been moved to a percent chance every autumn
  • Fairies and Gnomes have had a health and magic boost making them easier to start with
  • Female Elves had a bug fixed that granted them an extra 5% spell power per int
  • Equipping weapons now equip said weapon and no longer sets your active weapon to Pick each time
  • Monsters casting fireballs now have an indicator you can dodge before it goes off damage from the fireball is now in line with the monsters level
  • Archer's arrows now do damage based on their level

Fixed The flying issue that has been affecting some people for awhile, when pressing T to fly it would drop you out of the air after about a second. It should work well now if anyone had this issue could verify that it's fixed on their end I would appreciate it!

  • Comparing Items in your inventory updated for better visibility. Cape shoulders and pickaxe now display properly
  • Updated some spell descriptions and changed the locked spells icons
  • An issue with some people having issues toggling flying mode is still being worked on
