Minor update v0.6.1.5.1
You might have noticed a series of updates since the first v0.6.1.5 update drop. The changes were minor and only applied to user content and level editor only. But since many of you were asking about the changes, here's the complete list:

Updates
Episode 1 Boss' health lowered by 20% Lots of players found the first boss fight too difficult and rightfully so because difficulty curve is indeed very steep compared to the rest of the game. For now, we are nerfing the health by 20% but we are brainstorming other solutions as well for v1.0 release so this might not be final.

Level Editor
When you'll be opening your existing levels after the update, you might encounter lots of pink textures. That's because you were using the "wrong" transparent texture and we are replacing empty slots with new textures for v1.0 release. For now, they are simply pink - use pink checkerboard texture for the transparent texture or the one next to the "turn back" face. Use the new "Replace all tiles" function to fix this in a matter of seconds.

Mapping Event - Halloween 2024
Spooktober is upon us, and what better way to celebrate it than with the second Wizordum Mapping Event 👻 We just released an update that adds new Halloween-themed assets, so get cooking!
Even if you haven't used the Map Editor yet, this is a perfect opportunity to get started!
Create a level with the given theme and try to do one or more extra challenges. It is desirable to follow the theme to challenge your creativity and to see what everyone comes up with. However, if you feel uninspired, you can create something else, even if it is slightly off the theme. Creating maps and having fun is the priority, after all.

Theme: Halloween / Spooktober When: October - November 1st Challenges:
Have at least one jump scare
Include a pitch-black zone (don't forget on Torch items!)
Have at least two secret areas
Use at least one of each of the new Halloween props
The theme is Halloween, so try to get spooky with your creations - Corn fields, old cabins in the woods, cursed castles, dungeons, cemeteries, dusty attics, rat-infested cellars, ruins...get creative! 🎃

Please note that you don't have to stick to the dates; you can start working on the map today and finish your map after the event if you want to take more time with it, but the time limit is there mainly if you want an extra challenge.

Update v0.6.1.0
Here is another update that mainly adds one of the most requested features - Weapon Wheel selection. This is extremely helpful, especially for the gamepad players.
In addition, we tried to fix the most annoying issues and changed some gameplay stuff, like wand ammo consumption (ammo will only be consumed on a successful enemy hit).
This is almost certain to be the last update before the v1.0. We want to put our energy into the final stretch. We will update you about the release dates and what is going into the v1.0 release.
