Patch 1.1.7.8
Greetings, Ascended!
Today we are rolling out patches 1.1.7.8 on PC and 1.010 on PlayStation. This patch will arrive on XBOX at a later date. This patch changes how Infinity Difficulty scales and awards bonus Attribute and Gate of Fates points, along with the usual selection of bug fixes. Gameplay Changes:
Infinity Difficulty has had its scaling adjusted, and now has a more pronounced difficulty curve.
Because of this adjusted scaling, far fewer skulls need to be spent to reach higher difficulty levels.
Successful Operations on Infinity Difficulty now reward the same amount of skulls spent to launch the operation, rather than double.
As before, spending Skulls and completing an Operation on a higher Skull spend for the first time will award some player power. Successful Operations below 100 skulls will award one-time bonuses of 5 Attribute points for every Skull spent, and 1 Gate of Fates point for every 5 skulls.
After the first 100 skulls, successful Operations will grant 1 Attribute point for every 2 Skulls spent, and 1 Gate of Fates point for every 50 Skulls spent.
These rewards are capped at 1000 Attribute points and 40 Gate of Fates points.
Records for previously attained "Highest Completed" Skulls have been adjusted in-line with the new scaling and Skull spend, but will be adjusted no higher than 100. For example: a record of 573 Skulls turns into 57, while 80,000 Skulls turns into 100. Any missing bonus Attribute and Gate of Fates points will be awarded accordingly.
The amount of Skulls previously earned by players remains untouched. Skulls for the Skull Throne.
Bug Fixes:
We have given Demetra a stern lecture about withholding services from her customers. Players can once again level up and duplicate skills.

Cleaned up the gamepad input prompt bar in the Skills and Modifiers Screen.
Fixed various instances of "Undefined" being show in the Character Sheet in some languages.
Resolved a navmesh issue in the Necropolis area of the campaign.

Console Only:
Fixed an issue which prevented projectile VFX for the lightning variant of Livor Mortis from displaying.
Fixed an issue which prevented some of Artic Spear's VFX from displaying.

Patch 1.1.7.6
Greetings, Ascended!
Today we are rolling out patch 1.1.7.6 on PC. This patch addresses the variety of environments and enemies in Endgame Operations, along with various bug fixes. Improvements:
We have done a pass on how often particular biomes and enemy types spawn in Endgame Operations, to bring some balance and variety to what players typically encounter. Some environments, such as the Red Wastes, were overrepresented, whilst others were rarely encountered. For enemies, the Cult of Souls faction were the most encountered, whilst the Cult of Fury and Bandits were seen less often.
We have also done a pass on the spawn rate of secondary dungeons in eligible Operation types. Some environments would not spawn a secondary dungeon, and thus deny the player access to a trade shrine and result in a prematurely full inventory. Where appropriate, there should now always be a secondary dungeon available.
Balancing:
Annihilation Skill Weapon Damage has been increased from 250% to 300%.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the Consequence Reversal Active Skill Modifier for Aether Jump would not remove Crowd Control effects.
Fixed an issue where the Howl of Battle Active Skill Modifier for Flight of Gaavanir would not generate Rage on Hit if there was only one target.
Fixed an issue where the Drums and Bells Skill Modifier for Flight of Gaavanir would not grand movement speed to the player.
Fixed an issue where some elements of the minimap would still be visible when using the map overlay.
Further improved the detail on Iosonic Rain's Active Skill Modifier tooltips.
Fixed an issue where frenzied enemies would break the cardinal rule of entertainment media by attempting to attack the player's pet dog (or wolf, or tiger, or dragon). You. Do. Not. Hurt. The. Dog.
Fixed an issue in Phase 1 of the Lambach encounter where the text indicating that the pods should be destroyed would be unhelpfully small.
Fixed an issue in Game Settings where the "Reset to Default" button would not reset audio volume options.
Changed the error message displayed when attempting to sell Enneracts to Demetra to be more helpful.
Fixed an issue in Demetra's Skill Duplication menu where the selected skill would unintentionally change.
Fixed an issue where some menus could be opened during cinematics.
Fixed an issue on gamepad which prevented full navigation of the Skills & Modifiers screen.
Fixed an issue where some level 80 versions of the Imbued Legacy of the Willbreaker unique shield had a level requirement of 60.
Fixed an issue where some level 80 versions of the Imbued Prototype: Deliverance V2 unique weapon had a level requirement of 60.
Fixed an issue where menus could be unintentionally opened whilst the chat box is open.
Fixed a series of issues which could arise from kicking a player out of a multiplayer session whilst the joinee was loading in.
Fixed an instance of missing SFX
Various Localisation fixes.
Various crash fixes.

Patch 1.1.7.4
Greetings, Ascended!
Patch 1.1.7.4 is now available. This patch brings improvements to Infinity Difficulty and the campaign save system, along with fixes for bugs and crashes, both big and small.
Improvements:
Infinity Difficulty. Players can now more easily spend large quantities of skulls. Mouse & Keyboard behaves in the same manner as when adding Attribute Points: use Shift+click to add 5 skulls, or use Ctrl+Click to add 50 skulls. Or, if using a controller, simply press and hold the designated input.
We are aware that the Campaign save system can be obtuse, particularly in the early stages of Chapter I where there can be long gaps between save points. To rectify this, we have added two new save points to the early game: one just before you meet Ilthain for the first time, and one part-way through the Svriir Caves after finding the "Tributes Chamber" waypoint. We will examine other similar areas of the campaign and adjust accordingly in the future.
Improved the server-side pipeline for animation loading. This should improve responsiveness during gameplay.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where players in the final phase of the Ahriman fight would encounter a crash or disconnection if the player had completed the "Ward the Palace" project prior to facing him.
Fixed a peculiar issue where the side-boss Golmuth, Flayer Philosopher, would bend the rules of time and space and trigger Chapter II's intro cinematic if he was defeated by the player.
Fixed an issue during Ahriman phase 3 where Ahriman would get a bit tired and incorrectly stay in place when below 50% health.
Fixed an issue which prevented Summons from attacking Lambach Tentacles or Haunt Stones.
Tweaked the VFX display of "Avenger" Autoturret's "Consensus" ASM buff for better visibility.
Fixed an issue where the UI panel announcing Ahriman's arrival could be clicked through.
Fixed an issue where the Lightning and Sacred variants of the Imbued Legacy of the Willbreaker Unique Shield were appearing as "Unknown Items".
Fixed an instance in multiplayer where party members could trigger NPC dialog for the game host.
Fixed a multiplayer issue where re-joining a game in progress could cause a disconnection for the host and a black screen for the joinee.
Fixed an issue in the campaign in Chapter II where interaction prompts would fail to appear above Valeria or the dying shaman.
Fixed an issue in the campaign in Chapter I where the Primordial Guardian would not follow its stage directions and would stubbornly refuse to appear destroyed and remain interactable, despite dying.
Fixed various niche instances of client and server crashes.
Updated various instances of missing localisation text.
Patch 1.1.7.3
Greetings, Ascended!
Patch 1.1.7.3 is now live for PC. This patch addresses the player power issues that arose from the Infinity difficulty tier and resolves the associated character loading issues. It also brings a number of other improvements to controller gameplay, online behaviour, and, of course, bug fixes.
As always, if there is an ongoing issue you don't see a fix for here, be assured that we will address it in a subsequent patch.
We would also like to re-remind players not to complete the ""Ward the Palace"" project in the Regent Assembly as it can cause a disconnection or crash during phase 3 of the Ahriman fight. We are actively working on a fix, due in the next patch.
Improvements
Infinity Tier. A cap has been introduced to the player power rewards that can come from Infinity difficulty tier. The maximum number of Attribute points that can be earned is now 500, and maximum number of Gate of Fates points is 20.
Characters that have previously engaged with the system will retain as many additional Attribute and Gate of Fates points as they would have otherwise earned, up to the new cap. Both their Attribute points and Gate of Fates points will require redistribution.
We will explore further changes and refinements for the system in the future."
Summons should now typically have a lower targeting priority over merchants, portals, loot, and other objects when playing with a controller.
Improved the targeting behaviour of Gunslinger's Brand on controller.
The "Auto" and "Lowest Latency" server selection dropdown options will once again choose more appropriate local servers.
Further improvements to performance for large friends lists.
Bug Fixes
Players who could no longer access their characters after investing a large number of points into their Gate of Fates should once again be able to load their affected characters. Note that their Attribute and Gate of Fates points will require redistribution.
Resolved an issue where particle effects and audio would no longer trigger in Chapter I after some time had elapsed. We are investigating similar issues in the other Chapters.
Resolved an issue where the Flame Wave attack of Ahriman's Spectres during phase 2 would disappear prematurely.
Fixed an issue which caused the War Table's difficulty shield emblems to have stretched backgrounds.
Rectified instances where the central portal would be missing from Ahriman Lieutenant arenas.
Fixed an issue which prevented Skeleton Cultists from using their full range of abilities.
Resolved an issue where VFX from the Ahriman fight would remain in place and still be visible during subsequent Operations.
Fixed various visual issues on certain armour pieces on the female player model.
Tidied up various elements of several cutscenes.
Tidied up Ilthain's quest marker in The Only Lead.
