Hello everyone,

Here are the patch notes for Patch 1.1.3.0 the last patch before Content Patch 3 and the summons revamp.

We have added some Quality of Life improvements to this bug fixing patch in preparation for Content patch 3 and the Summons improvements.





  • Health, Rage, and Willpower potions can now be used at any time without delay and without breaking an ongoing channeling skill.
  • Items sold by Havar and Mohabi now scale up to the maximum expedition level unlocked.
  • "The items obtained as rewards for completing the “Seekers Garrison" and “Stormfall Trade Assembly” projects in Stormfall palace now scale up to the maximum expedition level unlocked.
  • Clarified and added values to almost every modifier for Feeding Swarm, Hunting Swarm, Livor Mortis, and Parasite, both in the tooltips and skill panels.





  • Fixed an issue where using Parasite would cause a server crash when used in online multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where holding the skill 'Strife of Baäpheth' just after using any other skill of the Aspect of War while having less than 200 Primordial would indefinitely channel the skill and softlock the player.
  • Fixed an issue where Ilthain would disappear if the player returned to Stormfall before talking to him after killing the Chapter 1 Quest “The Bane of the Storm” Boss, making it impossible to complete this step.
  • Fixed an issue where the Crafting UI could be split in two when displaying too many lines in certain languages and on certain specific weapons, making it impossible to click the “Craft” button.
  • Fixed an issue where Bladestorm would instantly deal 4 to 5 ticks of damage when used.
  • Fixed an issue where no Pistol would be attached to the hand of the character when they were using Gunslinger's Brand with its Lightning Elemental Variant
  • Fixed an issue where the shockwave's VFX of the modifier 'Unrelenting Strikes' for Bladestorm would not match its hitbox when it would be used with the modifier 'Long Pommel'.
  • Fixed an issue where picking all the Gate of Fate nodes“Toxic Emanation”, “Serpentine Affinity”, “Tenacious Affliction”, “Insidious Decay”, “Power of the First Men”, “Artefact Analysis” and “Enneract Expert” would cause the Toxic Emanation stacks to still be applied one by one, and the first few ticks of poison damage to happen faster than the later ones.
  • Fixed an issue where the Chapter 1 Boss attack "Inexorable Charge" would not deal any damage.
  • Fixed an issue where the description of the Gate of Fates node 'Fatal Pact' node would display "%" instead of the value of Health and Force Shield restored.
  • The tooltip of the Duskshroud modifier ‘Attendant’s cloak” now correctly states that Duskshroud’s Area of effect grants all its effects to allies.
  • The tooltip of the Warpath modifier ‘Vexilloid” now correctly states that the all resistances buff is only given to allies when the character passes through them.
  • Added missing sound effects on several monsters.
  • Fixed an issue where targeting a clickable object with Blood for Blood and the Modifier 'Unrelenting Attrition' would prevent Blood for Blood from following the character.
  • Fixed an issue where the Pet would sometimes stop following the character after the character died.

Development Update - June 2021

Hello everyone,

Today we want to give you more information on the timeline we are currently aiming for, and whilst we will always keep you up to date with our progress please bear in mind that it might be subject to change if we think a feature needs more development time.

Bloodstorm Part II (Content Patch 2) was released on May 18th and brought:

  • New monsters,
  • New environments,
  • Loot Filter improvements,
  • Animation improvements for almost every skill in the game,
  • The Sarisel and Tributary items marked in the stash/inventory,
  • Quality of Life improvements.

Early/Mid July: Content Patch 3

This content patch will bring:

  • Summons Revamp,
  • New environments,
  • New skills' damage type variations,
  • New Cosmetic Armor,
  • Quality of Life improvements.

The changes to the summons that we are implementing are massive - they will include:

  • Complete cosmetic revamp - Models, animations, and VFX entirely redone,
  • Skill mechanics redesigned - Improved behavior and control,
  • Having them respawn automatically,
  • Seeing their damage in their tooltips and on-screen
  • Power scaling with your character, equipment, and Gate of Fates nodes.

September/October: Content Patch 4

This content patch will bring:

  • New end-game activities and rewards system,
  • New monsters,
  • New environments,
  • New skills damage type variations,
  • New Cosmetic Armor.

Our goal is to add new mission types and better rewards mechanics for our end-game system, we will give you more details on these in future Development Updates.

November/December: Content Patch 5

  • New environments,
  • New monsters,
  • Controller Support,

We have a dedicated team working on Controller Support and are making sure the feature is ergonomic and player-friendly. We’re aiming for a release in November/December, although, as previously stated, this might be subject to changes based on how well we progress on its development.

Crafting: We initially planned on implementing a few changes to the User Interface and crafting items description, as well as changing the Abyssal Tear item’s behavior. However, the Crafting system as it currently is needs more than a few tweaks, thus, we will take more time to work on this feature, and will let you know about the changes we are planning in an upcoming Development Update.

Bug fixing: We will continue to work on bug fixing, as we have always done. Improving the core of the game is still a priority in our workflow. We will add bug fixing patches in between content patches whenever possible, as well as bug fixes within Content Patches like it was the case for Bloodstorm Part II.

Quality of Life improvements: We will keep browsing through all the suggestions you send us daily, identify which ones are the most upvoted/asked for, and try to select some of them to be added to each content patch

  • Fixed an issue where the Hunt trail would sometimes not be generated on the second floor of an expedition.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking the first hunt altar would sometimes not generate a Hunt trail.
  • Fixed an issue where choosing the modifier “Anamnesis” during a Hunt would sometimes cause the trail to stop working.
  • Fixed an issue where projectile skills would sometimes deal no damage despite hitting the target.
  • Fixed an issue where the unique item “Maelström”’s unique affix would not increase the next Elemental spell’s damage if the previous spell used had a different base Element.
  • Fixed an issue where the Omega Svriir and the Fireblood Omega Svriir’s animations would be offset.
  • Fixed an issue where the character wouldn’t be able to move while using the Loot Filter.

  • Fixed an issue where the Gate of Fades node “Pact Master's Song” in the Abyssal Shaper part of the Gate of Fates would give a 12% Occult Ailment chance score instead of 15%.
  • The Gate of Fates node “His Whispered Lullabies” now increases inflicted Occult Ailments duration by 25% instead of increasing Ailment chance score.
  • Fixed an issue where a non-textured area would be visible when getting out of the “Ravaged Camp” during the Chapter 1 Quest “Meet the Purifiers”.

  • Fixed an issue where Havoc Orb would only launch one projectile and lock the player in place when using the Modifier “The Hailing Devastation”.
  • Fixed an issue where the Magic Find bonus gained through Altars would sometimes be kept after finishing the ongoing expedition.

The Loot Filter UI has been reworked to be more intuitive and user-friendly.

It is now possible to set different profiles for your Loot Filter. Profiles can be created, deleted, renamed and selected. By default every player starts with a profile named “Default Profile” with all items displayed, and these profiles will be shared between characters.



We also added “Set All” buttons that allow to toggle all the filters on or off of the same rarity for an entire category.

Lastly, Armors now have a sub category that allows them to be filtered by armor type (Boots, Chests, Gloves..) on top of the amor category (Sorcerer, Bruiser..).



Items with Sarisel Affixes or Tributary Affixes will now each have specific markers, both on the ground, and in your stash/inventory.

Development Update - May 2021

Hello everyone,

Here is our monthly development update to let you all know about what we are working on and what you can expect in the upcoming content updates.

Recent improvements in our Studio’s workflow and structure allow us to both work on short-term content and improvements, as well as bigger long-term updates. We are thus currently working on a major update that will bring game-changing features to the game, and for which we have very strong ambitions. With that in mind, we do plan on taking the time needed to fully develop this major update, and we will tell you more about it as the development progresses.

In the meantime, our goal is to have content patches be released regularly, that will add new environments, monsters, skills and skills variations, as well as new items, end game activities, and other core features improvements; and to ensure that we can have every new feature thoroughly tested before releasing them, they will be split and added throughout several content patches.

Bloodstorm: Part II will bring new environments, new monsters, the Loot Filter improvements, animation improvements, and bug fixing. While we worked on these features, we also decided to add some additional quality of life improvements based on your feedback, which required a small enough development time for us to add to our next update, on top of the other additions and improvements that it will bring to the game.

The content patches that will be released after Bloodstorm: Part II are of course already being worked on, and, while we already announced that they will bring the Crafting UI and Summons Improvements, they will also each come with more new content and improvements. While we work on these, we will monitor your suggestions and, when possible, add them on top of the already planned content if the development time required is small enough, or have them queued for a release on a future content patch if it isn’t.

Finally, working on new content does not mean we do not work on bug fixing, we will keep on releasing bug fix patches, both resolving existing issues that still need to be addressed, or potential new issues that might appear with new content being released.

We will keep on improving the game, and we will always do so with your feedback and suggestions in mind while keeping you all updated on our progress and plans in these monthly development updates.

Development Update - April 2021

Hello everyone,

We are currently working on a content patch that will be the second part of Bloodstorm. This content patch will add more of the features announced, as well as some others that we will add based on your feedback, such as:


  • Legendary & Unique items to be marked on the minimap.
  • Increase maximum stack size for Gems and Crafting Reagents from 20 to 100.


We are also working on developing other top suggested Quality of Life improvements such as “Making the latest difficulty level chosen in the Expeditions window be the one selected by default when opening the UI”, that we hope we can have for our next patch, or the one after depending on how well we progress on other core changes. If you want to help us target the most important improvements to you, hop on our Official Discord, in the #suggestion channel, and either post one, or scroll through and upvote the suggestions you find relevant.

Some of the more complicated features still require more time (Summons improvements, Crafting UI improvement..), we want to make sure that they are ready and as polished as possible when they will be released. We also work on Balancing and Bug fixing while we develop these features, improving the core of the game is and will always remain a priority.

Slayer Flurry:

  • Fixed overall performance issues happening when applying certain buffs or debuffs to the player character.
  • Fixed performance issues happening when performing a critical hit while the unique shoulder “Edayo’or’s Triumph” was equipped.

  • Fixed an issue where dying to the Chapter 1 Boss could softlock the character by making the red portal to enter his arena unclickable.

Today, we are presenting some details about improvements that we will progressively implement in the world of Wolcen.

First of all, we want to confirm that we are working on the addition of controller support for Wolcen. Just keep in mind that this is going to take some time.

Champion of Stormfall improvements



The Champion of Stormfall mode will allow you to push even further. We are adding more difficulty levels, in which you will also have a better chance to find powerful items.

Pets Improvements



Many of you have raised the need for pets to go and fetch gold. Within a certain range from your character, your pet will automatically collect the gold that monsters and other destructible environments are dropping on the ground.

Loot Filter Improvements



Depending on your run, your build or simply different needs: you will be able to set different profiles for your loot filters. A standard profile will be set as default, and profiles will be shared between characters.

Additionally, each section of the Loot Filter will have a “Set All” button. The latter allows you to set all the filters in that given section to a single Rarity of items. It is a way to set up everything quickly when you create a new profile.

We’re also reviewing the appearance of the loot filter to make it more friendly to use.

Summons Improvements



In a future update, Summons will receive meaningful improvements that will make them stronger and easier to use!
We want to give you more control over your Summons while also reviewing the Summons modifiers scaling.

Additionally, we are adding new ways to influence the damage outputs of your summons. They will take into account some modifiers that affect your character. For example, a summon that uses projectiles will benefit from any projectile modifiers, including additional projectiles granted by your items or Gate of Fates nodes.

We are looking at the possibility for summons to automatically respawn after a cooldown, and display their damage on screen and in the skills tooltips.

Crafting improvements



To further enhance the user experience with the Crafting system, we are going to make a few changes to the User Interface and crafting items description.

In addition to this, we are planning to change the use of the Abyssal Tear item.
During the crafting process involving the Abyssal Tear, you will be able to consume socketed gems to easily influence which affix is removed, while displaying the percentage of chance for that affix to be removed.
For instance, you will now be able to remove Fire related affixes by socketing and consuming Topaz gems.

Dodgeroll improvements



The dodgeroll will allow you to go through enemies by default. The current related Gate of Fates node allowing it, Slipping Shadow, will be replaced by a movement speed buff after a dodgeroll.

    • Lucan, Republican Commander: “Scorched earth” fireball spawn rate reduced from every 0.75 second to every 1s.

  • Specialists:

    • Flayer WallBreaker: The area of effect of its strong attack is now correctly centered on the target instead of the caster.
    • Soul Spawn: Reduced the area of effect of the Jumping Attack and Default Attack.

  • Underlings:

    • Abyssal Spawn: Reduced the area of effect of their attacks.
    • Shadow Spawn: Reduced Hitboxes sizes of its Jumping Attack and Default Attack.





  • Trade shrines are now present at the end of every secondary areas.




  • Fixed an issue where Edric could spawn out of his arena during the Chapter 1 quest “No Matter the Odds”.
  • Fixed an issue where “Evasion”’s level scaling would reduce rage cost instead of increasing damage.
