Event Host Notes
This is a regular community-organized event open to the general population of Wolfpack players. Space is limited. New players are welcome. Captains will be drawn from the cadre vetted and trained for multi-boat tactics published in the base-line division-level rules of engagement. (New players are not required to have read these in advance, but they may be of assistance in understanding what we are doing.) Crews will be assigned to boats from the player pool present in the "open lobbies only" voice channel of the official Wolfpack Discord (WPD) at https://discord.gg/8NVeN7d3. There is an optional sign up link in WP Operations (WPO) Discord: https://discord.gg/3myJa57H. Signing up on WPO will get you an auto ping 30 minutes before the start. Signing up is not a commitment to play or even to show up, nor it is a guaranty there will be space. If you arrive late, you will be assigned to a boat if and when a slot opens. Expect the event to consume three hours. If you need to leave early, you may do so without penalty. Communication is in English, though occasionally we have a Brazilian boat whose crew speak Portuguese. The RoE and other useful information can be found in the Operation Order linked in WPD "looking for game" with the game ad.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
Hello, everyone!
First of all, we would like to wish you happy holidays, and a great new year!
We would also like to extend a special thanks to our testers, and the community at large for your positive attitudes and your constant encouragement of this project.
2022 has been a massive year in terms of Wolfpacks development, and while the new features have yet to reach - don't worry, they are just around the corner!
For early 2023 we are looking at a massive patch, with tons of new and exciting features that will radically transform the way you play Wolfpack!
Once again, we wish you the happiest of holidays, and a happy new year! The Wolfpack Team
Regarding issues with network exploits and griefing
We are aware of issues regarding network exploits by certain players being used to grief online games, the effects being that the offending player can edit anything normally accessible to them in the submarine without being in range of that specific station.
To non-offending players this may look as values such as the TDC, EOT and similar are changing for no reason - or the player character being 'locked' in place despite your input.
We are currently developing a fix as we speak and will deploy it as soon as possible - as well as looking at long-term solutions to prevent this from happening in the future.
In the meantime, we recommend that you host password-protected games and/or vet players beforehand as a temporary fix, as this exploit requires that the offending player is in your crew.
We wish you a great weekend, The Wolfpack Team
Update 0.26 - 'Interior' released!
Avast, sailors!
We are happy to announce that the 0.26 update is moving to the main branch! Detailed instructions on how to revert to the release branch from the beta branch can be found at the bottom of this page.
As usual, we want to thank all members of our community for supporting us - your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us and continuously improve the quality of Wolfpack.
Sincerely, The Wolfpack Team
Highlights
New animated engines!
Fully Modeled Interior
The initial state of the complete interior has been modeled and integrated to the game! After spending so many hours modeling the type VII interior, we are now finally releasing it to the main branch.
Player Interaction Menu
A new interaction menu has been added, from this menu you can quickly manage crew roles, add friends and manage bans. Access the player interaction menu by pressing TAB.
Improved Anti-Grief System
The new ban system in the player interaction menu allows you to blacklist players you do not want to play with anymore, it also grants the game host the ability to kick griefing players and adds better tools for managing a game in general. Access the player interaction menu by pressing TAB.
New Crew Role Management
A new crew role management system has been added - the captain can now assign player roles as they see fit, useful for that one friend that just can't be trusted with a specific compartment...
The captain may access the player interaction menu by pressing TAB.
Each player may be assigned a role from the drop-down menu. The passenger role limits the player from interacting with the systems in the U-boat.
Realistic Intercom System
A complete intercom system has been added! Gone is the ancient past where you would need to walk over to your crew to yell at them - you can now do so via the multiple intercom stations found in the different compartments! Ah, the wonders of modern technology...
New Periscope Overlays, Scales and Distance Tables
New and improved overlays, scales and distance tables have been added - Blaming the overlay when your torpedoes miss the mark is no longer a valid excuse!
What now?
New radio and sonar equipment
The new radio and sonar rooms are still under construction. The old equipment works the same as before, but we intend to add a lot more equipment and detail to these compartments. Most of the essential stuff in the radio room has been modeled by Koji, and he will move on working on the sonar room shortly.
Animation and Interaction
We have modeled everything! Now comes animation, interaction, sound effects and gameplay impact!
We are currently developing a new crew role. The Engine Chief will operate the diesel engines and the electric motors.
What's next?

Update 0.26 released on the beta branch!
Hello, submariners!
We are happy to announce that update 0.26 has been released on the beta branch! Detailed instructions on how to access the beta branch can be found at the bottom of this page.
This update includes the full interior of the german type VII U-boat, improvements to player interactions (friends, bans, ignores, etc), leakage effects, new periscope overlays, scales and distance tables, intercom telephones and quality of life improvements.
For this update we would like to give a special shoutout to our group of dedicated testers, without your indispensable support we would still be finding new bugs to fix.

Highlights
The Interior
The full interior has been integrated and added to the game, various systems have been or are in the process of being added to the interior, our goal is for the entire interior to serve a larger gameplay purpose rather than just being pretty set dressing.
We'd like to emphasize that this is the first iteration of the interior, and not all interactable systems have been added or integrated yet. Notably: the engines are lacking functionality as of this time, additional equipment and details will be added to the radio and sonar rooms.
Aft torpedo compartment, with the electric engines.
Forward torpedo compartment.
Engine compartment, with the main diesel engines on either side.
Player Interaction Menu
A new player interaction menu has been added, from this menu you can manage crew roles, add friends and manage bans.
Ring, ring, telephones
The telephone-style intercoms have been added and integrated in the various compartments to facilitate better and more immersive communications between crew members.
Leakage effects
Depth-based leakage effects have been added to the entire interior, this is a system we would like to expand upon in the future.
New periscope overlays, scales and distance tables
Periscope overlays, scales and distance tables have been reworked and added.
Quality of Life improvements
Brightness sliders have been added to various menues in game.
What now?
Most of the Wolfpack team will be taking some time off during the coming month, after that work will resume on remaining 0.26 features listed below.
Remaining 0.26 features
Up next is the fully animated and interactable engines, the new playable engine chief officer, adding the missing equipment and details from the radio and sonar rooms as well as torpedo reloading.
What's next?
Update 0.27
We will elaborate more on update 0.27 in due time, but the main focus will be on improving the ship damage systems, and effects.

Known issues
Periscope and minor UI scaling issues when playing in aspect ratios taller than standard 16:9 - scaling works correctly in 16:9. Incorrect click sound effect when using the intercoms. There's an issue that can cause a crash to desktop when the host assigns the same role to multiple crew members. To avoid this isssue, don't assign the same role to multiple crew members. (Does not apply to passengers and sailors)

Q&A session announcement!
Hello everyone!
We're back from the holidays and Oscar's been fixing bugs discovered in version 0.25. A patch (0.25R) was released Monday. Several connection related issues should now be resolved. Give the new patch a try and please let us know if you still experience any connection related issues.
We will be reviewing bug reports continually as usual, hopefully resolving most of the remaining bugs by next week. We are also interested in general feedback regarding game balance, usability etc. A Q&A session will be conducted on Discord January 13:th 19-21 GMT. We'll be answering questions as well as discussing the current state of the game with you 🙂
In addition to bug fixes, some polishing will be done before we move on to the interior patch (version 0.26). The current version will be continuously updated during development of version 0.26.
