In this update I am introducing a new unit, the Rocketman. He fires a bottle rocket at his enemies that explodes on impact dealing AOE damage. Effective against Cannons.
Medics rate of healing was buffed, and cost reduced. Musketoon cost was also reduced a little. Wooden blocks are now stronger, they should no longer be taken out with a single cannon ball.
In the next few updates I will focus on implementing some better unit placing options, fixing a few bugs, and possibly reworking the Wave Mode. Additional units may also be introduced within the next few updates.

A few updates.

I've released several more updates over the last few days. The updates included changes to some of the missions and challenges to make them more difficult. I did several bug fixes. I changed the amount of money in Sandbox mode to 900,000, so you should be able to build an army as large as your computer can handle.
There were some bugs with wave mode, for some people killing wave 2 wouldn't trigger the next wave/victory condition. I believe I have found and fixed the cause of this issue. If you are still having issues with wave mode please report it in the comments. I will try to figure it out.
I'm getting ready to move on to implementing more features to the game. I am currently in the process of implementing a new unit, I have a few ideas such as a rocket soldier, grenadier, mortar, Gatling gun, officer, and drummer. If you have some ideas for more units, comment them below. I want the units to stay in the colonial age, so I don't think I will be implementing anything too modern/sci-fi.
Cannons still seem to be OP in large numbers, so some of the units will have a bonus against cannons. Once I add a few more units, I can expand the missions and challenges a bit more.

Another Update!
Hello everyone, I've released another update for the game.
Fixed several bugs in Wave Mode, as well as several other bugs. Added some resolution and sound options to the in-game menu. Cannon cost was increased to 900, and health reduced a little. Cannons are pretty strong, especially in large numbers, so I think maybe some kind of anti-cannon unit is in order.
I've seen a bug where the units just run around in circles, ignore enemies, etc. I will try to address this bug in the next update. More bug fixes in the next update, and after that, I will implement better unit placing controls. Things I'm considering are copy paste function, unit formations, toggling defense/offense mode on placed units, and more.

Quick Update
Hello everyone, just a quick update. I've seen quite a few people complain that they are unable to quit the game when a battle is playing. There was a bug with the main menu not working while the battle was playing. I've fixed that bug. Now, when you press Escape during a battle, it should bring up the main menu, which has a quit button.
I am working on adding some video and sound options to the game, but it's taking a little longer than I though. You will be able to select video resolution, and adjust music and sound effects volumes separately. I should have this implemented within the next few days.
There seems to be many other bugs in the game, I will be addressing them over the next few weeks.
I've been reading all the reviews and comments, I want to thank everyone for the feedback.

Closed Beta Possibly in October!

I plan to run a closed beta for this game starting sometime in October. The purpose of the beta is to test for bugs and to collect feedback on the game.
