The game now is playable in full HD, the art assets are now in 1440p! If you have a compatible display, you will be able take full advantage of the newly remastered art at double the original version's resolution.
If you're using a 1080p or lower resolution display, don't worry. The game will still run at the original 720p or 1080p without losing any visual fidelity.
This has been a free upgrade to all current and new customers.
If you want to finish the game on the older engine, please opt in to the renpy_old branch and you should be able to load from the older engine and finish the game there.

New build out
Just released a new build of WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01. This unifies all platforms to a single engine called Ren'Py. This new build also includes a TLC/edited version of the script and incorporates feedback and fixes reported by customers.
OSX/Linux beta version released!
We've just pushed out the beta version for OSX/Linux all previous issues have been resolved. Please let us know if there's any crash bugs.

We just launched the Kickstarter to fund the translation of episodes 2 and 3 of the WORLD END ECONOMiCA series. Please take a look to get exclusive physical versions of the game!
OSX/Linux alpha version released!
We just released the OSX and Linux versions of WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01. This is running on Ren'Py and has some bugs and missing features that we'll be adding/fixing.
Known issues
Preferences screen is a mess
Sprites sometimes overlap each other
Text sometimes messes with the interface
Audio sfx sometimes does not play
Music overlaps sometimes
Movies don't play
CG mode doesn't exist
Music mode doesn't exist
Please let us know if you run in to any crash bugs.
Release status
We were hoping to get the OSX and Linux version done by the end of the month, we're are not able to make it. Still working out bugs with getting the game converted to Ren'Py. We're also waiting on some art assets to finish up setting up Steam Cards.
