Latest Patch and Free Expansion,”DASM Outskirts” is to be released very soon!
Hello people how are we? I have some great news for all the DASM fans that emailed us and said that they are half way through the game and have quite a few spelling tokens left in their inventory. If you are not aware DASM Spell Quest allows you to carry a maximum of 100 spelling tokens so you must spend the tokens as you collect them. (There is a chance this may change in the future.) Unfortunately the current problem is even if you do spend your tokens at the shops you will still have a few tokens left over and this has become an issue.
Therefore DASM Outskirts has been created to fix this problem. Now the good news is this expansion will be free because of the wonderful feedback from parents, guardians and teachers who use our software. Yes that’s right, just from contacting us and providing us feedback we are happy to please!
What does this expansion have to offer?
Own your very own motel room! Why not buy a motel room and purchase some furniture for it? Go shopping and buy some goods from 3 stores to decorate your own home. Even if you don’t have enough to buy a room the motel owner will still let you decorate it. (But it will still cost you!)
Caravan Park. (Trailer Park.) Want to buy some used caravans? Want a place to own with some great scenery? Buy a caravan!
Businesses. Want to purchase a business? Got enough tokens? Are you a business person? Then become even more of a citizen of DASM by buying various properties.
Library. Need to return a lost overdue library book? Well you have come to the right place! The library will give out a reward for any lost books returned. You can also buy books and shelving here for your motel room if you wish to do so.
Missions. There are only a few missions to do in the expansion because it was mainly created so you can spend spelling tokens and have a little time out from doing all the puzzles. DASM Outskirts does not offer too much for you if you don’t have any tokens to spend.
Final words.
We feel it is our duty to try and make our software more playable and fun by listening to comments and feedback that anyone has for us.
We also want to make it clear to save any confusion that this game is for “children only” who are just starting to learn or are having learning difficulties. So please, especially anyone who has comments for us make sure you understand the fundamental principles of this game before you comment publically.

Latest patch is now out!
Hello people! We have released a second patch to tidy up a few things that were overlooked during testing. Special thanks to everyone that emailed us directly via our website and reported some issues.
Wizard hat puzzle would not save.
Wizard would always say beware before walking through the tunnel to the city when it is not supposed to and the gates would remain shut.
Wizard could be physically seen after saying beware on the other side of the tower instead of disappearing.
Added new feature where after the game is patched it won’t restart in a minimized screen.
Cleaned up some messy commands and fixed a few save bugs.
Fixed the Train Station map where the graphics and lighting was set way too bright or incorrectly and some of the textures were not displaying right.
We are currently working on a 3rd patch but this will be quite large and involves changing some of the settings in the DASM City maps.

World of DASM, DASM Spell Quest is here!
Hello people!
DASM Spell Quest is now ready for release and we are all excited here at DASM HQ. All the fans and educators who have been following us from the start know that this software has evolved over time and has been shaped by the general community, students and yes the teachers!
This software was specifically created and designed for students aged between 5 to 12 years old who are struggling to learn the alphabet or spelling words. DASM Spell Quest also helps to form the very basic building blocks for sentence structure, and contains a substantial amount of reading material with full audio and text.
Unlike most ABC type software programs DASM Spell Quest is well…a little twisted! It uses a whole new style of teaching and learning techniques to keep users interested.
Since this will be an Alpha release we kindly ask the STEAM community to report any bugs or issues if they arise.
Any adults who wish to use this software be warned that it is for your child or student. Once trapped in the World of DASM time can slip away and you yourself can become its next victim.
