On April 29, 2021, World of Tanks began its journey on Steam. Since then, we have launched many great events and held lots of Community activities. We have introduced various features to make the game even more enjoyable and enticing for you: Trading Cards, Achievements, GFN support, and the ability to activate Bonus and Invite Codes. We have received thousands of reviews, and literally each of those has been carefully read by our team because we value your feedback and want to be on the same page as you, developing our game in such a way that corresponds with your expectations and desires.
But the most important of our achievements has been getting to know all of you. We have gathered an amazing Community of players who are just as passionate about the game as we are. We are happy to see you participating in discussions, making guides for newcomers, searching for battle friends, and providing us with feedback about our project. Now that you’ve studied the infographics, you should clearly understand that calling all of you “awesome” is not an exaggeration. We are extremely impressed with your achievements during our first half-year on Steam, and you have surely earned good rewards for your efforts! There will be two packs of goodies that you can get simply by logging in to the game.
For starters, there is a regular reward for years of service that can be received by anyone who created an account in World of Tanks before November 23, 2021. For our players, this reward contains the following:

The AltProto AMX 30: Meet the Brand-New French Medium Tank!
This Tier VIII Premium is equipped with a menacing regular (cyclic) gun that deals 300 HP of alpha damage, which is respectable for a medium tank of this tier.
In addition, the AltProto AMX 30 features the second-highest armor penetration value (232 mm) with a standard shell among all Tier VIII medium tanks in the game. Armor penetration with a special APCR shell is even higher (263 mm), which makes this tank a dangerous enemy for most well-armored vehicles.
The parameters displayed are valid for the vehicle with each crew member trained to 100% major qualification level. Some vehicle characteristics can be further improved with the Commander's bonus to major qualification level, crew perks, and skills, as well as special in-game items.
Its top speed of 65 km/h is impressive for a medium tank, and, due to its good power-to-weight ratio, the AltProto AMX 30 accelerates quickly and maintains speed confidently. And if the combat situation isn’t working in your favor, or you need to quickly retreat or change flank, the AltProto AMX 30 will quickly disappear from the enemy's view range.
Like some other French vehicles, the hull armor is not this medium’s strongest feature. However, its upper glacis plate is at a very uncomfortable angle for opponents, so hitting it will not be as easy as it might appear.

Thanks to the tough gun mantlet that covers almost the entire frontal turret projection, the AltProto AMX 30 can take full advantage of the 11 degrees of gun depression and successfully use hull-down tactics on any map. Hiding a vulnerable hull and taking an advantageous position, this vehicle will allow you to confidently inflict damage from a distance.
And, of course, like any Premium vehicle, considering its armor penetration and alpha damage with a standard shell, this tank farms credits well, so playing in it is not only exciting but also profitable.
Chapter I—Tracking the Beast: How It Works
Your furious hunt for the brand-new AltProto AMX 30 will run for 10 days. To get this French beast, you need to complete 10 consecutive Stages by fulfilling missions for mastery or for commitment, all in Random Battles. You can track your progress via a special banner in the Garage without opening a separate Challenge tab.
- Missions for mastery are hard, but fulfilling them will save you time. You can only complete these tasks using Tier IX and X vehicles.
- Missions for commitment must be completed using Tier VI–X vehicles. Your result will only count if you are in the top 10 on your team by base XP earned at the end of the battle, no matter whether your team is victorious.

Whichever path you end up taking, each completed Stage will bring you a host of rewards, including tons of credits, Personal Reserves, days of WoT Premium Account, directives, and more.
In addition, each Stage knocks 10% off the final price of the AltProto AMX 30. If you complete all 10 Stages of Chapter I within the given timeframe, you will get this brand-new vehicle—with a Garage slot and its 100% trained crew with Brothers in Arms as a zero perk—for free!

The spectacular Char de Chastel 3D style is inspired by the legend of the Beast of Gévaudan. This mysterious monster terrorized the French county of Gévaudan in the 18th century and was hunted down by the legendary huntsman, Jean Chastel.
With its gorgeous knightly style, this custom look will turn the AltProto AMX 30 into a formidable war machine. The style features plates of lightly rusted metal, iron spikes, and medieval axes. But the most spectacular elements are the sharpened steel blades on the lower glacis plate and a massive catapult mounted on the vehicle's turret.

Bonus Codes in World of Tanks Steam: Take Your First Code and Get a Reward!
Our focus invariably remains on providing you with a great and pleasant gaming experience. We keep improving World of Tanks on Steam, adding new features and trying to make the game even more enjoyable for our players. Today, we are happy to announce that our Steam players can now use Bonus Codes and Invite Codes right in the Wargaming.net Game Center. General Information
There are two types of redeemable codes: Invite Codes and Bonus Codes.
Invite Codes
Invite Codes are a great way to boost your progress when you’ve just created an account. An Invite Code gives you a bunch of goodies that can be quite useful early in the game—usually credits, days of WoT Premium Account, and sometimes even gold or a Premium tank!
However, keep in mind that an Invite Code can only be activated during the first seven days after account registration. So, if you’ve just made a brand-new World of Tanks account and you have an Invite Code, don’t forget to use it!
Note that only one Invite Code can be activated per account.
Usually, you can get Invite Codes during various Community events, activities, and streams. Your favorite content creators or contributors can sometimes provide you with one, as well, so don’t miss out on all the World of Tanks-related content.
Bonus Codes
Bonus Codes provide different rewards and can be activated on the player’s account at any time. They vary in their validity periods and activation requirements—some are valid only for a short time, while others may last for months, waiting for you to find and redeem them.
One Bonus Code can be activated only once per account, but you can activate multiple different Bonus Codes on the same account. There are no limits to how many different Bonus Codes a player can redeem.
There are many ways to get Bonus codes—in various Community activities, during in-game events, or together with our official merchandise. Sometimes Bonus Codes are created to celebrate the launch of a new event or feature in the game. Speaking of which, we actually have one for you right now!
