Brawls: 5 vs. 5; Tier X
The stage is set for a brawl-filled weekend! We hope you like Tier X ships, because they are running the show this session in a 5 vs. 5 format.
If you have a handful of buddies on standby, we suggest lassoing them into a Division for maximum coordination and efficiency. Just remember the ship restrictions: No more than 1 aircraft carrier, 3 battleships, 4 cruisers, and 3 destroyers per team.
Join the Respawn-a-Thon!
While in a perfect world, you wouldn't need to respawn at all—it's good to know the mechanic's got your back in Update 14.5's temporary battle type Unbreakable Line!
In Unbreakable Line, all destroyed ships respawn after a short delay, and teams fight for victory by earning points. This means that wiping out the enemy team entirely is not an available path to victory. Battles are fought in a 7 vs. 7 format with Tier IX–X destroyers, cruisers, and battleships.

Clan Battles Season 30 "Man o' War"
This week saw the start of a very special Clan Battles season that features the Classified Documents mechanic.
During the pre-battle countdown and 60 seconds after it, you'll be able to choose up to two Classified Documents granting attack and defense bonuses against specific ships on the opposing team. Ships deemed powerful in their own right for the Clan Battles environment will be balanced out by having fewer Classified Documents available per battle (either just one or none at all).
Format:
7v7; Tier X ships
Only battleships, cruisers, and destroyers allowed; no more than 1 battleship per team
Louisiana, Komissar, and Hildebrand cannot be taken into battle

Five players face off against a team of 12 lower-tier bots in this popular battle type that's back in the game for Update 14.5!

With Update 14.5 in full swing, it's now time to cast our eyes forward and take a sneak peek at the fun new features Update 14.6 will be delivering in just a few short weeks!
Here's a quick breakdown of some of the most notable new additions:
New U.S. destroyers: Ships of the new branch are great gunslingers and have a unique new feature—a Smoke Generator that can be toggled on or off!
Graphical improvements: Enabling the WG Temporal Super Sampling setting in your game client will deliver sharper visuals and smoother edges without significantly impacting performance.
Rarity system: It'll soon be a lot more intuitive to understand just how unique in-game content is thanks to a new system of visual rarity for ships, camos, and beyond. This improvement goes hand-in-hand with a standardized pricing model for direct sales based on this system.
Container Barge improvements: This package of changes aims to improve your experience on the container-opening screen, with the introduction of an animation skip, better container content breakdowns, more flexible options for bulk opening, and an integrated guaranteed drop counter!

New experimental ships Protector, Hotaka, and Varese have splashed into the game, joining the first round of ships—Metz, Vyazma, and Oregon—introduced earlier this year. The newcomers stand out for their close-range specialty that's complemented by their unique experimental feature: their secondary battery firing range and reload time improve relative to the damage they take.
Compete to Win Destroyer Johnston
A new 1-week Leaderboard event has begun! Climb aboard experimental ship Oregon and try your best to inflict the most damage possible in a single battle. The top 25 players will win U.S. Premium destroyer Johnston, and the next 75 players will receive bundles of Coal.

Familiar Battle Types Return!
Two familiar temporary battle types have entered the game for Update 14.5—have a go at both this weekend!
Asymmetric Battles: The tried-and-true battle type that pits a smaller team of players against a larger team of lower-tier bots.
Unbreakable Line: A more recent addition to the roster of temporary battle types. The main feature of these player vs. player confrontations is that when you're destroyed, you respawn!
Team League X Tournament Streams
It's back—the popular community tournament where World of Warships Twitch streamers create their own teams from pools of players of all skill levels, then pit them against each other!
Tune in for some fun shenanigans by watching any of the 12 participating streamers' channels to get unique views of all the action and take part in giveaways. There's also a dedicated Twitch Drop going on during the tournament, so keep an eye out!

Familiar Battle Types Return!
Two familiar temporary battle types have entered the game for Update 14.5—have a go at both this weekend!
Asymmetric Battles: The tried-and-true battle type that pits a smaller team of players against a larger team of lower-tier bots.
Team up with other daring Captains at the helms of Tier VI–X ships and superships with a maximum of one tier difference between teammates. You can create Divisions of up to five players, and each Division may include up to two battleships, two cruisers, two destroyers, one submarine, and one aircraft carrier. However, unique Commander talents will be disabled in Update 14.5 for this battle type due to technical limitations.
Unbreakable Line: A more recent addition to the roster of temporary battle types. The main feature of these player vs. player confrontations is that when you're destroyed, you respawn!
Exciting news, Captains—Unbreakable Line will return in Update 14.5 and stay with you until the end of Update 14.6! Some changes have been made based on feedback for the previous iteration, but the core idea remains the same—ships respawn after destruction! Battles last only 12 minutes and are fought on smaller maps.
First line rewards: 3 days of Premium Account, the "Boom!" enemy destruction effect, and Commander Marina Carmen Fernández with 10 skill points and an individual voiceover.
Unlock the second line for 2,500 Doubloons to instantly receive the Pin-Up Summer permanent camouflage.
Earn Italian Tier VI Premium cruiser Duca d’Aosta and 150 Summer Tokens to spend in the Armory event.
Extra levels award More Signals containers (first line) and Rare Bonuses containers (second line).
Asymmetric Battles Return
Take on a team of bots in this fan-favorite battle mode!
5-player teams face off against 12 bots, with a one-tier difference limit.
Playable with Tier VI–X ships and superships.
Bots are two tiers lower than player ships (excluding submarines).
Form Divisions with up to 5 players. Limited to 1 aircraft carrier, 2 battleships, 2 cruisers, 2 destroyers, and 1 submarine.
Unbreakable Line Returns – Now With Tier X!
The action-packed respawn mode is back with changes!
7v7 battles with Tier IX–X cruisers, battleships, and destroyers.
12-minute battles on smaller maps with respawns 15 seconds after destruction.
Victory by reaching 1,000 points or finishing the battle in the lead. No points are lost for ships sinking!
Temporary buffs on respawn; consumables do not refresh.
Expanded map pool: Big Race, Hotspot, Land of Fire, Sea of Fortune, Trident, Loop, Sleeping Giant, and Greece.
Second Group of Experimental Ships
Three new close-range brawlers enter testing!
Protector – U.S. Tier VIII cruiser
Hotaka – Japanese Tier IX battleship
Varese – Italian Tier X cruiser

Keep an eye out for the new "From the Red Docks" chain in your Combat Missions tab. To complete each of the three parts, you simply have to fight battles. The reward? 1x Soviet Era container for each part, plus a bonus two of these containers for completing the full chain!
"What's inside a Soviet Era container?" we hear you ask. The answer is a chance to get one of eight Soviet Premium Tier VII–IX ships or one themed permanent camouflage or economic bonus. Check out the full drop list on our special page.

Your favorite battle type for small-scale skirmishes is hitting you this weekend with a 4v4 format and Tier VIII ships.
Just remember: No more than 3 battleships, 1 aircraft carrier, 1 cruiser, 2 destroyers, and 1 submarine per team are allowed—keep that in mind if you're going at it in a Division with your friends!
