The World of Warships Anniversary Update begins here! Before you dive head-first into battle, be sure to give our dedicated Update publication a quick look to get the read on all the in-game celebrations and new features you can expect.
Celebrate World of Warships' 9th anniversary with Festive Rewards! Throughout the update, you can unlock special rewards for achieving certain Base XP thresholds aboard any and all Tier V+ ships in your Port. And this year, we've made it easier than ever!
These rewards consist of Festive Tokens—a currency that you can exchange in the Armory for Tier VIII American cruiser Rochester, Battle of Paso de Patria containers, the Stellar Pioneer permanent camo for Benson, Supercontainers, and much, much more!
Pan-American Tech Tree Battleships Ipiranga, Los Andes, and Libertad have been unleashed on our virtual battlefields in Early Access! If your idea of a battleship involves guns, guns, and more guns, then these bad boys will be right up your alley. A key feature of these ships is their access to Combat Instructions, which improves the range, damage, and reload time of the secondary battery when activated.
Ipiranga is the final reward in the first progression line of the Update 13.8 Event Pass.
Los Andes is available in a sequential bundle in the Armory that can be unlocked with Pan-American Tokens.
Libertad can be obtained at the end of the sequential bundles in exchange for Doubloons.
As part of this event, you'll also be able to unlock permanent camouflages for each of these ships, inspired by the ship's country of origin.

Battle of Paso de Patria Collection and Joaquim Marques Lisboa
With the release of the new Pan-American line, there's no better time to introduce a themed collection with a unique Commander for the in-game nation. Joaquim Marques Lisboa, a historical 19th-century commander of the Brazilian Navy, comes with the enhanced Survivability Expert skill when sailing destroyers, cruisers, and aircraft carriers, as well as the enhanced Brisk skill for battleships.
He can also activate two unique talents in battle:
Relentless Firing:
Condition: Hit enemy ships 175 times with main/secondary battery shells.
Bonus: Reduces the reload time of the main battery, secondary battery, and torpedo tubes.
Master and Commander:
Condition: Use Combat Instructions twice.
Bonus: Raises the minimum Combat Instructions progress and increases ship speed.
To obtain the new Сommander, you must complete the new Battle of Paso de Patria puzzle collection. There are 60 elements in total and you can get them from Battle of Paso de Patria standard and Premium containers.

Update 13.8: World of Warships Anniversary!
This is a short overview of some of the content that is introduced in Update 13.8. You'll find more information in a dedicated article on our website:
World of Warships will be turning 9 years old this month! In our usual fashion, we are throwing an all-out party full of Festive Rewards and events for our players!
Festive Rewards
As is tradition, throughout our Anniversary update you can unlock special rewards for achieving certain Base XP thresholds aboard any and all Tier V+ ships in your Port. And this year, we've made it easier than ever!
Your rewards will consist of Festive Tokens, a currency that can be exchanged in the Armory for Tier VIII American cruiser Rochester, Battle of Paso de Patria containers, the Stellar Pioneer permanent camouflage for Benson, Supercontainers, and much, much more!
New Collection
It's been a long time coming and now it's finally here! To celebrate our anniversary, we have a brand-new in-game puzzle collection for you to complete!
There are 60 elements in total, which you can get from Battle of Paso de Patria standard and Premium containers. The final reward for completing the collection will be new unique Pan-American Commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa.
Aquatica Fair
A new event has entered the Armory! In the Aquatica Fair event, you'll spend Tries to earn items from a large reward pool that includes new Tier IX Spanish battleship Victoria, Tier IX European battleship Karl XIV Johan, Tier VIII German battleship Anhalt, the Galactic Wanderer permanent camouflage for Victoria, and other anniversary-themed permanent camouflages from past years.
Pan-American Battleships in Early Access
Be the first to try out the first Pan-American line of battleships in the game with our latest Early Access event! Battleships Ipiranga, Los Andes, and Libertad are awaiting your command, each with a large number of guns they can bring to bear.
To complement this setup, the ships have access to a Combat Instructions mechanic that, when activated, improves the range, damage, and reload time of their secondary batteries. To charge the Combat Instructions meter, you must either score hits with your main battery guns or accumulate potential damage.
In addition, the Pan-American battleships have access to an enhanced Repair Party consumable that restores a higher amount of HP.
As for downsides, gun-for-gun, their main batteries have lower range and firepower than the equivalent ships of other nations, and their citadels are vulnerable to enemy shells when the ships' broadsides are exposed.
Operations Battle Type Update
Update 13.8 will introduce changes to Operations. These changes will affect Naval Station Newport, Raptor Rescue, The Ultimate Frontier, Hermes, Aegis, and Cherry Blossom. We have expanded the range of tiers that can participate in these 6 Operations, allowing you to bring your Tier VI–X ships and superships into battle.
More Novelties and Changes
New Season of Ranked Battles: Season 19 begins this week with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Leagues in a 6 vs. 6 format on Tiers VI and VII, VIII and IX, and X and superships, respectively.
New Clan Battles Season: Codenamed "Asp," the new season of this competitive battle type will be played in a 7 vs. 7 format aboard Tier VIII battleships, destroyers, and cruisers.
Expedition to the North Pole: The road to the New Year begins here! Leading up to December, complete special combat mission chains during each update, then collect rewards such as ships and Santa's Gift containers as you progress.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Get ready to welcome new Commanders, totally rad permanent camouflages, Pizza Time Premium containers, and more themed content later in Update 13.8. Stay tuned for more information!
System Requirements Update: We've updated the system requirements for World of Warships based on our latest performance tests to provide our players with the most optimal hardware configurations. Game client performance should not change for current users.

Leaderboard Event: For Błyskawica!
A brand-new Leaderboard event is kicking off in the Armory! Earn as much Base XP as possible in any single battle to compete for a spot in the top 100 players and earn great prizes. The top 10 scorers will take home Błyskawica herself!
During the event, you'll be able to easily track your progress using the Leaderboard in the Armory. It updates in real time, displaying your position, along with your best result so far.
This weekend, complete a special mission chain dedicated to the anniversary of the 1944 Slovak National Uprising to earn a new commemorative flag and some expendable economic bonuses!

We're breaking out the big guns for the final Brawl of Update 13.7. Grab hold of your favorite Tier X destroyer, cruiser, or battleship and get ready for a fight!

Ship type restrictions: 3 battleships, 4 cruisers, 3 destroyers; no aircraft carriers or submarines allowed.
