To participate in the event, you must first choose either the Veteran or Amateur difficulty option by clicking the corresponding button above.
  • Veteran Difficulty: Participate playing Tier IX and X ships and superships. Higher-tier and more numerous rewards are on offer, but you’ll face stiffer competition.
  • Amateur Difficulty: Participate playing Tier V–X ships. Fewer and lower-tier rewards are on offer, but you can expect less competition.

Your goal for each difficulty level is to rank in the top 100 highest Base XP results playing a specific ship type in a single Random or Ranked Battle*.

*You have an unlimited number of attempts within the event’s timeframe.



Objectives


  • Primary objectives: There are five primary objectives per difficulty level, each corresponding to a different ship type. The top 100 performers for each ship type will receive a reward, for a grand total of 1,000 winners.
  • Secondary objectives: Those that choose Veteran Difficulty will be granted access to additional secondary objectives that provide more opportunities to win Premium Ship VIII containers. The results are determined by cumulative high scores across all fought battles.

The Peking Plan: To Leave or Not to Leave?

Captains!


Operation Peking was a plan hatched in 1939 by Polish and British leaders to sail three of the small Polish Navy’s modern destroyers to Britain before the imminent war with Germany broke out. It was a controversial decision to make, but in the end, the operation was carried out successfully, and all three destroyers would survive and continue the fight side-by-side with the Royal Navy long after Poland had fallen. But if the decision was up to you, what would you have done?
  • Click one of the options below to unlock one of two special combat mission chains.
  • Complete the chain to receive some containers and the "100 Years of the Polish Navy" patch symbol.
  • If you complete the mission chain, you'll be entered into a raffle for VIII Orkan , VII Błyskawica , and European Commander Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz.
  • If you already have Błyskawica or Grom in your Port, you can complete an additional bonus mission playing either ship to earn 500 Community Tokens.

World of Warships is celebrating another glorious Anniversary—the new update marks the game’s 8th Birthday! We’ve prepared various activities and rewards in honor of the event, and the Designer's Table Port is getting freshly decorated for the occasion.

Festive Rewards


To celebrate the 8th Anniversary of World of Warships, we're bringing back bonuses for your performance in battles playing all ships of Tier V and above. However, the reward distribution method has been changed, and players will earn Festive Tokens. More information about Anniversary changes can be found here.

This year, we want to renew our approach to the event and update the rewards, as well as the ways in which you can earn them.

In the past, the event structure was completely tied to the number of Tier X ships players had in Port. However, as the game progressed, more opportunities to obtain Tier X ships appeared, therefore we decided to shift the focus toward a different reward distribution and different tiers. Now, players will be able to obtain the following rewards on the Live Server: Supercontainers,
(or another Tier VIII ship if a player already has Bayard), rare economic bonuses, a new container with bonus packages and festive camouflages, as well as a special coupon for the Armory.



Airship Escort in Random Battles


After having appeared twice on the Live Server as a separate battle type (most recently, 12.0), Airship Escort is by now a familiar game mode for many players.

Airship Escort was well received by our community; however, there were some concerns over its implementation into Random Battles—we have heard the community feedback and will actively monitor its introduction. If necessary, we’ll be able to reduce the frequency of the Airship Escort game mode in Random Battles, as well as reduce the number of maps for which this mode can appear. Our goal is to add greater variety to Random Battles without adding long queue times for an additional game mode, and we’ll reevaluate this over time as we actively curate our Random Battle playlists.

As a result, Airship Escort will be resurfacing for the Public Test of Update 12.8 as one of the possible game modes in Random Battles. During the Public Test, there will be a higher chance for the Airship Escort mode to appear in Random Battles.



Spanish Cruisers


Update 12.8 marks the end of Early Access to Spanish cruisers; they will soon become researchable ships in their respective Tech Tree.

These ships have main battery guns with average range and damage per minute, and they are also armed with short-range torpedoes.

Spanish cruisers of Tier VII and higher feature the "Burst Fire" alternative firing mode, their shells follow a flatter trajectory, and their AP shells penetrate armor more effectively. These ships are fast, but they have average maneuverability.

All players will be able to try the Spanish cruisers in the upcoming Public Test.

Improvements


Signals


Starting with Update 12.8, players will be able to auto-buy signals individually in the equipment window of the Port. The auto-buy feature is turned off by default, but it’s simple to switch on. Once players run out of signals, they will be able to replenish them by using Credits.

Notification Improvements


The appearance of the following windows has been changed: personal offers, Division invitations, Clan invitations, Training Room invitations, and behavior warnings.
