IMPORTANT! Because the update is still being tested, the information in this article is tentative and reflects the state of game development at the time of its publication. Some changes and new features may be removed entirely or implemented differently by the time the update goes live.
Unbreakable Line
Update 14.3 introduces a new temporary battle type featuring a novel mechanic in World of Warships: respawning! It means that when your ship gets destroyed, you'll be spared a trip back to Port and will be sent back into action aboard the same ship you sailed into battle.
Format:
7v7
Tier VIII and IX; battleships, cruisers, and destroyers
Maximum battle duration: 15 minutes
Battles take place on maps of reduced size
Blücher at the Dockyard
Historical German cruiser Blücher will soon be available to construct at the Dockyard! The ship stands out for her deadly accuracy and strong AP shell performance, which together help her tear through enemy broadsides like a can opener.
The ship's construction consists of 20 Dockyard phases; 18 of these will be completable through in-game combat missions. Individual phases can be purchased for Doubloons, and as usual, there are two starter pack options to get a head start.
At Phase 8, you'll pick up Commonwealth cruiser Gambia as an intermediate reward. Unlike her sister ship Fiji, Gambia has access to HE shells and Short-Burst Smoke Generator, making her a brutal combatant against enemy battleships.
Efficiency Badges
With Update 14.3, you'll be able to earn Efficiency Badges as a mark of personal pride for your performance aboard individual ships. After each Random Battle you finish, the Base XP you earned is tracked and compared against the recent average performance of other players globally aboard the same ship that you just played. Depending on how well you performed in comparison to your fellow players, you can receive an Efficiency Badge with one of four ranks.
You can view the Efficiency Badges for each of your ships in your profile summary, as well as on the post-battle statistics screen for the ship you sailed into battle. Only the highest-ranked badge for each of your ships will be displayed, meaning that if you upgrade a badge, it will replace the old one.

Experiment With New Experimental Ships
From now until August 2025, you'll have free rein to play around with some quirky new ships subject to quirky new mechanics. For now, in Update 14.2, you can unlock and play cruisers Metz, Oregon, and Vyazma.
These three ships have access to what we're calling "Fight or Flight"—a mechanic where your ship becomes stronger the more damage it takes. The trio also has access to a limited stockpile of AP shells with improved characteristics that can be fired using Burst Fire mode.
You can unlock experimental ships by researching their components in exchange for a combination of Credits and Action Reports, the latter of which are obtainable via special combat missions.

Dive Back Into Operations with Flagships
Back by popular demand, Operations with Flagships have received a few tweaks in Update 14.2 to make them that much more engaging.
Now, three enemy bot flagships of two different types with different effects and vulnerabilities await you on the battlefield. The flagships will be randomly selected, and you'll see which ones you'll be up against at the start of the battle.
You can now also equip one Classified Document per battle to customize your ship's capabilities against certain ship types, working both against ordinary bots and the flagships themselves. This special mechanic will make your ship more effective in encounters with specific enemies.

Discover a New Branch of Soviet Submarines in Early Access
Three new submarines—S-1, L-20, and K-1—make up the latest branch of the Soviet Tech Tree, which is now available to play in Early Access.
These subs make use of capable unguided torpedoes to deal the bulk of their damage.
They enjoy good surface speed but lack the agility and dive capacity for frequent underwater escapades.
The trio can be of great help to their allies, as they have access to the Submarine Surveillance consumable with a long range.
All three submarines are available in sequential bundles in the Armory, purchasable for Soviet Tokens. You can obtain the Tokens by completing combat missions or purchasing random bundles.

We want to share extra special news today! It's now easier than ever to access World of Warships and continue your progression through the platform of your choice. With the release of Update 14.2, we're introducing a long-awaited feature: you can link your existing account to Steam and freely play using the platform, even if your account wasn't created through Steam!
When the integration with Steam was first implemented, such a thing wasn't possible; however, over the past few years, we've been working on updating the system to bring these changes to all Wargaming titles, and recent updates were a crucial part of the necessary preparations.
Thanks to extensive improvements to our account infrastructure, you can now seamlessly switch between Steam and the Wargaming Game Center (WGC) while keeping your in-game progress.
Three new ships with unique mechanics are sailing out on our seas! Designed for bold Captains, these vessels bring high-risk, high-reward gameplay:
These experimental ships start each battle with reduced HP but can heal over time. Where it gets very interesting is that their main battery accuracy and rate of fire improve as their HP decreases. Will you choose the security of HP or the risky but satisfying firepower route?
Armed with a limited stock of AP shells with improved characteristics and Burst Fire mode.
They have no module upgrades, their economic earnings are similar to same-tier Tech Tree ships, and Commanders assigned to experimental ships do not require retraining.
You can unlock experimental ships by researching components with Credits and Action Reports from combat missions, and get a special mission chain that offers Coal as a reward.
These ships will be removed with Update 14.7, and commemorative rewards will be bestowed on players who successfully unlock all three.
Operations with Flagships & Classified Documents
Operations with Flagships return with reworked mechanics, introducing varied flagship encounters and greater strategic diversity.
New mechanics have been integrated to enhance combat effectiveness in specific scenarios:
Equip one Classified Document in Operations with Flagships for survivability and damage boosts.
All Classified Documents have been added to player accounts automatically and can be selected before each battle, with a limited time for changes.
Soviet Submarines & Event Pass
Comrades, the Red Fleet is growing mightier! The arrival of submarines S-1, L-20, and K-1 introduces a new Soviet playstyle:
Powerful, fast, and long-range unguided torpedoes, plus homing torpedoes with low damage, speed, and range.
Fast surface speed but limited dive capacity. They are also equipped with long-range Submarine Surveillance and Fast Damage Control Team.
Celebrate the Soviet expansion with the Soviet Navy Event Pass!
The first progression line features 5x Soviet Era containers, Commander Aleksey Statsenko, and a Soviet permanent camouflage for Tallinn.
Unlock the second progression line for 2,500 Doubloons to earn additional rewards, including Soviet permanent camouflages for Riga and Petropavlovsk, 10x Soviet Era containers, and cruiser Molotov. Captains who already own these items will be compensated in Credits.
Pirate-Themed Bounty Hunt
Hoist the black flag and engage in thrilling Random Battles:
Play as a Hunter (Tier V–X ships) or Bounty (Tier VI–X battleships, cruisers, and destroyers) to earn Bounty Tokens for themed Commanders and permanent camouflages.
The Bounty status is available for free in the Armory and lasts 24 hours or until the main mission (sink 5 enemy ships) is completed.
Random bundles hold new ship Monmouth, with direct purchase options available until the release of Update 14.3.
