World War 3 is in Closed Beta as of November 25, 2021. Due to the current development and release state, you may encounter gameplay and technical issues while playing. World War 3 is undergoing regular maintenance to address issues, with patches and fixes also being released on a regular basis.

INVENTORY FUNCTIONALITY
Your Inventory, found on the World War 3 website, is the place where you can transfer items purchased in CBT Packs, bundles, gifted by MY.GAMES, and earned via events like Twitch Drops to your account in World War 3. We’re currently working on API integration so you can send items from your Inventory in-game, and will share more details about the status of this when possible. In the meantime, rest assured that your items are safe and will be available in the near future.
CLAIMING ITEMS FROM CBT PACKS
You will be able to claim your CBT Pack contents from your Inventory on worldwar3.com when its functionality is fully integrated with World War 3. Your rewards will still be received and are safe and tracked, so don't worry. We will let you know as soon as the Inventory is available!

World War 3 is now available to play on MY.GAMES and Steam! To celebrate the launch of the Closed Beta Test (CBT), we’re offering a new set of in-game rewards you can claim via Twitch Drops. Simply tune in to select Twitch streams hosted by World War 3 content creators between November 26 and December 10 at 13:00 UTC / 14:00 CET / 05:00 PST, rack up a certain amount of cumulative viewing time, then claim your free loot from your Drops Inventory.

World War 3 is launching with the Closed Beta Test (CBT) on November 25 for players who own a Veteran Pack or CBT Pack. To make sure you have the smoothest experience hitting the battlefield on launch day, here are some key dates and information to keep in mind.
On November 24, the CBT build of World War 3 will be available to preload via MY.GAMES GameCenter for MY.GAMES and Steam players.
World War 3 will go live in Closed Beta on November 25 at 13.00 UTC / 14.00 CET / 05:00 PST. If you haven’t got CBT access yet, CBT Packs will also be available to purchase from Steam at this time. We recommend preloading the game so you’re ready to rock as soon as possible! Make sure your PC is up to the task by checking out the minimum and recommended PC specifications.
IMPORTANT: The current version of World War 3 on Steam and MY.GAMES GameCenter have been deactivated. If you’ve previously downloaded World War 3 through either platform, you will need to install the new version from MY.GAMES GameCenter on or after November 24 in order to play the CBT.
If you are downloading World War 3 via Steam, you will first download MY.GAMES launcher (approximately 180MB), the game’s official launcher which is required for authentication. Once the GameCenter is installed, you will be able to download World War 3 through it.
World War 3 PC Specifications

The Closed Beta Test will extend the battlefield to any players who purchase a CBT Pack or receive a Veteran Pack. Four maps will be playable across two different modes: Tactical Ops and Deathmatch. Players can fight on the battlefields of Berlin, Warsaw, Polyarny, and Moscow, and a range of customization options will also be available, with samples of realistic gear and weapons available for players to adapt their loadouts.

How to Pre-load or Install the World War 3 Veteran Alpha Test
The Veteran Alpha Test is nearly ready for select players to dive into, and we want to make sure everyone is ready to hit the battlefield as soon as possible. Here’s what you need to know:
WHAT IS THE VETERAN ALPHA TEST?
This exclusive technical test is available to Veterans (players who purchased the game during Early Access and own it in their Steam library) and offers access to a new and improved version of the game. This test is the first of many as more tests will happen in the coming months! If you see any bugs or problems, feel free to report it in Discord in the new VAT-bug-reports channel!
WHEN CAN I DOWNLOAD AND PLAY?
If you’re eligible to participate in the Veteran Alpha Test, you can pre-load the test client in your Steam library from September 29 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT. You can play from September 30 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT until October 4 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT.
WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT?
If you’re eligible to play the Veteran Alpha Test (you previously purchased and played an Early Access version of World War 3), you will find ‘World War 3 PTE’ in your Steam library.
HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT?
On the 29th of September at 12:00 GMT, click the 'Download' button to download and install the MY.GAMES GameCenter (approximately 80MB in size). This program is officially supported by MY.GAMES and authorized by Steam, and will launch as an authenticator when you start the game.
HOW CAN I PLAY?
Once you have downloaded MY.GAMES GameCenter and the Veteran Alpha Test is live on September 30, simply press the 'Play' button via the World War 3 PTE page on Steam. MY.GAMES GameCenter will also launch as an authenticator when you play World War 3. Alternatively, you can also simply click the World War 3 PTE game icon via your programs or desktop.
ABOUT THE VETERAN ALPHA TEST
The Veteran Alpha Test will offer exclusive access to a new and improved version of the game from September 30 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT until October 4 at 05:00 PT/12:00 GMT to select players. Future World War 3 tests will be available to larger groups of players.

The Veteran Alpha Test (accessible via ‘World War 3 PTE’ in your Steam library) will showcase the new and improved version of World War 3, brought to you by the dedicated team at The Farm 51 with support from MY.GAMES. World War 3 needs your help! Join the test group
We’re nearing the end of the year, but World War 3 development isn’t slowing down! Iterative adjustments keep coming and we’re hosting internal tests every week to review feature and content changes, and spot bugs or other issues with the game. This phase involves professional testers and industry veterans, but also experienced FPS players and game developers!
While there’s still quite some time ahead on the development roadmap, we would also like to invite some of you to witness first-hand the progress on development, and contribute to making our game the best it can possibly be.
Would you like to experience the latest versions of World War 3? Are you interested in being part of a tight-knit group of trusted FPS players? Can you keep secrets until they’re ready to be shared with the world? Then fill out the form with your details, and we may contact you to join the volunteers club!
You will be granted a special role on Discord (make sure you’ve already joined our server) with a direct line of communication to the Community Team. You will be invited to join test sessions within certain time slots, and to submit feedback on specific areas of the game. These sessions will be organized over the following weeks and months, carrying on until the release of the game.
We’re interested in seeing how players from different gaming backgrounds will react to the game. Even if you’re not a hardcore online player or have a slightly outdated computer, try your luck and we might just have a slot for you!
Please note that all content shown and shared within the test groups is subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement. We really want to continue polishing the game and only reveal it publicly when it is fully ready.
All communications are exclusively conducted in English via Discord for easier communication between all teams, be it written or vocal, during test sessions. This test group is only open to players over the age of 18 years. A Steam account is necessary to test the game. We will contact a limited amount of players this month on Discord directly: if you don't receive a private message from an official staff member, it means your application is still pending!
