Busy busy week, everyone had their head down and working hard producing some awesome work for the upcoming updates.
The News
PTS has just been updated to the latest RC build of Update 26, which mean we are very likely to release next week! We are aiming for Tuesday and unless things absolutely set fire, after daily maintenance you will have Update 26 on your game with Alliances, updated UI and Motion Blur toggles - HOW EXCITING IS THAT? Full patch notes on the day of the release!

Here's the news...
Update 27 WIPE!
The large, PVE feature heavy update will bring many new things including the Haven (previously known as Tier 0) and a new map, which Malford is currently working on! We will arrange loads of pre-wipe events closer to the date, which is currently slotted in for late September. In addition to that, word on the street is we will be reducing the total number of servers until we need to grow again. This is yet to be confirmed but that's what it's looking like so far.

PTS is LIVE!
Enjoy the broken mess is a QA build :p We copied Capulca's state of the world, however, the characters didn't copy correctly from all servers (some EU ones did, none of the US). We is working on trying to get all characters' schematics transferred soon. As anticipated, the social features duck in and out of working, but you can now log in, play around, meet folks you haven't seen in a while and try to break EVERYTHING. Don't forget to leave feedback as you do!

Want to keep up to date with our development on all fronts?
This is a server for the community to test out an upcoming patch and give us feedback earlier than you normally would, and help us load test certain features.
The PTS will be a copy of one of the live servers (rotating between them) - this copy is of CAPULCA - complete with all existing characters and ships, though characters from the other servers will be migrated over to join this duplicated server.
Only accounts made before the database copy will be available to join the PTS; for this first PTS round the database copy happened on 14 Aug. Things will definitely be a bit more broken than usual, and the PTS will be regularly wiped and reset to that starting state - no progress on the PTS will make it back to live! It is ready to go! We are copying the CAPULCA server.
We will be releasing it on Tuesday, and letting you try out Alliances, then releasing the next update, which is planned for the following week.
So, get your grind on this weekend if you want to join this round with a semi-ready character, otherwise you will experience the fledgling experience again.
