The Woven OST: A whopping hour and a half worth of soundtracks, uniquely remastered to translate the games soundtrack in a smooth music album perfect for all easy-listening enthusiasts.
It isn’t even half as cute as Woven, but an adventure game with a mystery twist just as well. Not everything is what it seems in this psychological horror game. In Sanity of morris you use your flashlight to reveal the vital clues you need to find your father. The game combines elements of stealth games with detective-adventure and psychological horror for a gripping story. Discover the truth! Could aliens be real?
Woven, the game about a stuffed animal in the shape of an elephant discovering a woolen world by becoming different animals has it's own soundtrack and merch.
The game launched at the end of last year and since then, lot's of people have played it, streamed it and reviewed it. With a score of 8.2 from Switchup, a 7.9 from Gameshedge and loads of positive reviews from the Steam users themselves. We've even been nominated for Best Narrative Game at the 2020 Game Bakery Awards!

Sanity of Morris [previewyoutube="EW8d3bsHEmI;rightthumb"]
In remote Greenlake you come to visit your father, but nothing is as you expected it to be. Forces are at work that don’t want you there, and they are armed.
Gameplay
Equipped with nothing more than a flashlight and a notebook, it is up to you to step into the shoes of Johnathan Morris and discern truth from fiction. Light reveals the clues you need to find your father, but also alerts the ones who are trying to hunt you down. Darkness keeps you hidden, but linger for too long, and you might go insane.
“We wanted to create something new and exciting, but also keep doing what we’re good at; storytelling. So for Sanity of Morris we took from Woven the adventure genre, having collectibles and working with a strong narrative. But then we added a whole layer of psychological horror in the music, in the visuals, and it’s really unnerving! In this game, you will start to question John’s reality. It makes for an engaging experience, like an interactive movie, perfect for escaping daily life. And we can all use that right about now.” – Dominic de Graaf, Creative Director.
Features:
Use your flashlight to reveal and interact with clues. Crouch and sneak your way past enemies undetected. Collect audio tapes, secret files and hidden pictures for your journal and create a timeline of events. Balance seeking out new information against avoiding stress, or you might lose your sanity. Discover the truth about your father and his alien conspiracies. Has he gone crazy…. Or have you?
Unique in Sanity of Morris is the way you will have to put yourself at risk, exposing yourself to the light and enemies that can see you, as you desperately search for clues and hidden messages left behind by your father. It’s a psychological horror with a detective adventure game twist. Sanity of Morris is available to wishlist now on Steam.
Life's tough at the moment, here's a cute elephant to make it better
These are strange times. We don't have to tell you why, you watch the news, and are hearing enough about the big events taking place.
But there also is a lot of good stuff out there, with partners spending more time together, parents having more quality time with their children, and a lot of people taking that extra mile to help what way they can.
We want to do the same. As a gaming company, we can do that best by making our games more easily accessible. Because as it turns out, Woven is a great game to play together with friends or families.
So this is why we are giving out a 50% discount on steam for the next two weeks. Do you know anyone that can use a little escapism and care-free puzzling as a family? Tip them off. Share a link to the game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/504690
Take heart These are hectic times, but we wish everyone the best wishes possible. We hope you have the chance to enjoy the extra time with eachother. We hope our message will help you do that.
With warm regards,
Alterego Games

Woven Release Date announcement
Great News!
The release date of Woven has been made public! We will release our game the 15th of November this year, one month from now. Woven will release on Steam (macOs, Windows, Linux) but also on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. And yes, this the confirmation of a day one Linux release. We’ve created a new trailer to show glimpses of all Woven has to offer in terms of scenery, action and gameplay.
We envisioned Woven as being the ultimate chill-out-on-the-couch adventure game with laidback gameplay supported by a great soundtrack, colourful look and super cute creatures. In Woven you’ll go out to adventure and explore a world made of fabric, where stuffed animals once lived in peace. Everything in Woven appears to be well at first glance, but be warned, the colourful world is not all it seems to be.
Stuffy, a cute but clumsy elephant, wanders the lands all by himself. Glitch, a metal firefly, has no memory of this world, and the mystery of his arrival holds the key to the heart of the matter. In the game you will search for hidden objects and secrets and customize Stuffy with different animal shapes to gain new abilities that help you solve puzzles. It is an epic adventure with two very unlikely heroes and a story narrated in rhyme. Why is this land being invaded by metal machines? Explore a woollen world and unravel its mysteries the 15th of November.
We have finished writing, creating and implementing new content, and are now preparing for a launch Q4 this year! We want to bring Woven to Steam (Windows & OSx) Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch.
Ambitious plans for a small studio, but a release date of 'Q4' gives us a little leeway as we work hard to properly set up the multiplatform and multilanguage release. When everything is set up, an exact launch date will be announced.
Woven If you played the old pre-alpha demo, you know a bit of what you can expect in the game. A woollen world filled with knitted details, nooks and corners with hidden collectibles and a laid-back playstyle.
But we've greatly expanded on that! The entire game was rewritten, almost al models redone. We have implemented cinematic shots, added over 20 new character shapes, more then a hundred different patch colours, action packed moments, a full fledged achievement system, trading cards and badges and added key story elements.
Puzzle together bits and pieces of the story as you puzzle your way through the woollen world. Retrieve Glitch's memories scattered all over the land and track down the caves paintings done by Stuffy's kind.
Are you ready to discover the mysteries of the world of Woven?

Update on Woven Gameplay
Changes
It’s been a while since the pre-alpha demo and some parts of the games have been changed quite a lot. So we want to update you on some of the things that have changed. The big picture is still the same; explore a woollen world, find collect lots of colours and fabrics, and find new shapes for Stuffy while you enjoy the story in rhyme.
But we’ve also added lots of new stuff, and changed some things around. So here is a quick update on some of the gameplay features that have a prominent role in the game, WITH some brand-new screenshots and artwork!
Blueprint Machines
Stuffy will change during the game, as you can swap out body part of different shape and form. Elephant legs are strong, but rabbit legs can jump! Previously, you could encounter creatures just like Stuffy, scan them, and then Glitch would make a blueprint for you. Well this has changed!
There are many new animal shapes in Woven, but the only way to get a new shape is by finding and unlocking a blueprint machine. This will require a sharp eye and a bit of timing!
As in the demo, each animal-shape will have their own skillset, so keep an eye out for these machines, as they will give you more customisation options.
Hidden Dangers
You'd be surprised how many hidden dangers a 'safe' woollen world can harbour! Those of you that have played the demo know the gameplay is not all softness and wool. There are metal machines about. Spotting, recognizing and getting past these dangers is a very important part of the game. Sometimes it comes down to being quick, at other times you’ll have to be creative.
Creating these dangers has been a real design challenge. We didn’t want to bog down Wovens relaxed play-style with frightening jumpscares; that’s not the game we want to make! But we did want certain areas in the game where Stuffy would have to walk on his proverbial toes. We think you’ll like what we’ve cooked up.
Secret Caves
New and important, hidden caves are scattered all over the world. They will be difficult to find, but will reward you with beautiful hand-drawn cave drawings that tell a whole story of their own. Finding theses caves isn’t necessary to complete the game, but will certainly add to your knowledge of the Woven word in a way you might not have expected.
That’s it for this update. Questions about the gameplay? Feeling the hype yet? Don’t hesitate to join our Discord channel and flood us with your questions or just random talks.

Woven found a publisher: StickyLock Studios
Woven, it is happening!
Woven: The unique adventure game where a seemingly safe woollen world is actually being threatened by metal insects. (shush, spoilers!). The game that lets you puzzle and explore your way through a rhyming story by changing the body parts of your hopelessly clumsy main character.
The time is now
Ever since the Kickstarter in 2016 the Alterego Games Team has been developing Woven at a slow but steady pace.
Slow and steady usually wins the race usually, but this was taking too long. At the start of 2019 the studio made the decision that if they wanted to develop Woven, this would the year to do it, making it the studios main focus.
With their own funds, spare time and lots of effort the studio’s small team developed the game up to the halfway mark, and then set out to find a publisher.
Publisher found.
We found them, or better, they found us.
StickyLock Studios, a Dutch publisher with lots of tech and game experience will help publish the game while bestowing full creative freedom to the Alterego team.
Together we want to bring something unique to the gaming world. Combining the quirkiness of an stubborn indie-developer with the experience of an established publisher and multiplatform launch!
And now?
All the actual game levels are now in place, recordings for game narration have begun, puzzles and content are being developed every day, while also working on cinematic cameras shots to augment both ambiance and storytelling.
While making the best game we can is our main focus, we’ll also try to regularly show what we’re creating. We’ll be opening a Discord channel, (come join us!) and show content through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, with the odd newsletter in between.
With the launch of our trailer soon, we’ll also be able to make some pretty mind-boggling news about all our plans for Woven.
