X Archetype

Linux controller support works now.

I reworked the controls through the steam controller config. All changes were done through the steam-works API so there is no update to the game itself. For those who haven't figured out, there is a dash button (much like the slide in Warframe) and there is also the ability to high jump if you hold up and jump
(much like Warfame as well). There are a few spots in the game the player must use these to progress. The game is meant to be played at a fast pace. The first play through is incredibly easy, so the player can get the hang of the shooting and dashing physics. The second play through is much more difficult. I plan on making some kind of guide or tutorial to explain the controls in better detail, and also add remapping as well.

Linux/SteamOS build + Controller Support for windows

The Linux build is live, along with Full controller support for Windows. Working on Linux controller support.

A Little Info about the game.

I made this game in the structure of a Mega Man game, the parkour physics i tried to mimic everything you could do in Warframe (except for aim gliding). When you get an upgrade to your weapons they are always active, unlike Mega Man, which you have to select a weapon.

I am working on custom keybindings at the moment, but the keys right now are that of Warframe/Terraria. Comments and suggestions to patch update are more than welcome. Features like Achievements, Trading Cards, and Localization are currently in the works. If there is a feature you would like to see in this game, feel free to post it here.

There is slight controller support in the game, but not enough to actually say it officially has it. You can completely control the character, but there is no pause function on the controller. I have a Linux version, but i have to implement official controller support to release the Linux version.

I hope you guys like my game, I plan on making many sequels and offshoots, building up to the final game which will be an MMO. The whole story was already written before i wrote the first game, so the next game will explain more of the universe of X Archetype.
