The most important change of course that you can enter the boss area in the Scorched Wasteland (Dungeon 3) again. Time to get your butt kicked, yay!

Additionally, Tiny Roar have heard the feedback from fans and have implemented numerous bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Those include, some visual improvements in Needle Eye, improved UI and camera settings and more. PC players have been enjoying these gradual improvements as they rolled out, and all of these changes will be available in the console release on day one.

Rubbles ladder: In rare instances, after climbing up the ladder, Reid will slide down again.
Tipp: Simply climb up the ladder again, it should work as intended now.
(Controller only) In the food inventory, you cannot select any snacks.
Tipp: Press L2/R2, change the selection between Gadgets and Food and the cursor will reappear for the intended selection.
In random cases, the screen might get blurry
Tipp: Simply make some slight changes in your graphics' settings to get back to normal and to get rid of the blurry screen.

First XEL Patch released!
Dear community,
We would like to thank you for a great launch of our first major title XEL. We are still thrilled we came this far and made our dream come true.
We keep reading your comments and reviews and appreciate all your feedback. We are currently working on a major update (1.0.4) that will address lots of bugs and requested features (such as a quest marker or remappable controls on gamepads). We don’t have a date yet for the patch, but rest assured we are working tirelessly to push it out as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, we uploaded a first patch today, fixing some of the annoying stuff, such as blockers in certain areas that prevented a few players from progressing.

Coming back to the main menu, you might need to click your mouse once to be able to select anything
Restarting the game might reset your master audio to 0
An active dialogue audio may be played until the end even when the player goes back into main menu
