So finally we decided to release Update #2 (which should probably be called update #22 considering the amount of new content and changes :-D ). We think it's a massive improvement to the game with so many changes it would probably require a 1000 point listing. :-D
So without further ado here are some of the more prominent changes to the game but far from everything is listed:
Native Oculus Support
Much improved teleporting combined with a change of direction
Collect the Lootboxes for some massive rewards!
Numerous shops are available on the map currently with 9 items to buy and unlock with enough experience and credits!
Enemies now drop loot of various forms
Experience or XP is now needed to unlock weapons and items!
Credits is now needed to purchase ammo, health pack, allies, drones, weapons and much more!
Mission 1 now is much larger and takes about 60+ minutes to complete
New improved enemy behavior with enemies coming from all directions.
You can buy a helper drone!
Allied marine can now purchase in the shop!
Find the keys to unlock areas!
Game is now progressively harder with changing environments and harder enemies as you progress deeper into the ship!
Prepare for some epic battles and use the covers found throughout the ship!
Massive changes to weapon handling
Level generation and loading is now 500% improved
Massive performance improvements
Tons of new enemy FX
Tons of new enemy sounds
Massive Mechs added
Improvements across the board to balancing and enemy AI
After much internal discussion, we also decided to change the name to X-Fire to move away from the whole Xenomorph/Alien association.

UPDATE #2 is real close!
So the coming update took a bit longer than expected but we are pretty confident that you will find it was worth the wait! The amount of new content coming is mindblowing! The game will require you to move, duck and cover and find the best tactics against a multitude of enemies!
Without giving away too much details here is some of the things you can expect:

UPDATE #1 LIVE!
After a 24 hour marathon to fix the worst bugs and issues we can happily tell you that the following has been solved so far and much more is to come. Expect rapid releases the coming weeks of bug fixes, optimizations, new weapons, enemies, missions and so on.
Gameplay: Drop Magazine in weapons by pressing the bottom of the touchpad
Gameplay & Bugfix: Teleport massive improvement, no longer stops working randomly and you can select angle of room space, also slowly builds up range
Bugfix:Lightning fixxed in areas which are overly dark or bright
Bugfix: Bugged room where bots and ai got stuck is fixed
Gameplay:Player is now Informed to pickup weapons
Gameplay:Player now starts with 2 weapons which also have detailed info
Gameplay:Rifle now shots faster, more precise and more damaging bullet
Gameplay:Magazine upped to 100 shots on rifle to avoid changing magazine ever so often
Gameplay: Other rifle now shoots slower Plasma shots with very high damage
Gameplay:Tutorial/Information/Shooting range room updated with tons of information on how to play
Gameplay: Enemy Robots and enemies in general dont spawn in the same room
Bug fix: Player don't randomly end up on roof
Gameplay:Adjusted spots for weapons and ammo
Gameplay: Prevented double spawning when boss is encountered
Gameplay: Guardian Boss is now harder and takes more damage
Bugfix: Enemy droids don't explode unless they are far beyond reach of player
Improvements: Minor improvements to performance
Gameplay: Level generated has less branching reach to make it easier

Game is now Live!
We are happy to announce that the first Early Access release version is now Live on Steam with a 40% price reduction! ːsteamhappyː
These are still very early days in development so we expect to roll out some updates with bug fixes and problems the community finds ASAP in the coming week.
What you can expect in this first beta build:
