Update

Missed posting a few changelogs, so this is likely to be incomplete (and will include some changes from earlier updates):

-Rumble can now be toggled
-Fixed bug which let players using a controller respawn without any lives in co op
-Updated unity
-Fixed a bug which made many smoke trails invisible
-Enemies which get too far from the player now get spun to face the player. The AI was properly trying to turn to face the player, but something was preventing their physics object from responding. This should prevent the endlessly retreating enemy bug.
-Buffed mortars, minimissiles and dumbfire ammo.
-Sniper enemies have lower muzzle velocity but higher projectile acceleration, which should make them easier to dodge at short range while still leaving them capable of sniping.
-A few enemies can turn a little faster.
-Music is now less compressed.
-Players using mouse&keyboard in splitscreen will no longer have their aim centered when certain controller inputs are made.

Some bugfixes

-Fixed a code path that could cause enemies to run away endlessly (there might be another one, let me know if it keeps happening)
-Fixed a trigger on the wrong layer causing problems with beam weapons fired near terror fortress omega.
-Fixed some texture problems.
-Some under the hood work towards adding achievements.

Fixed bug with texture quality changes

-Changing texture quality will no longer cause objects to have incorrect textures.
-Fixed a few sliders that still had trouble with controllers.

Bugfixes

-Sliders in the UI now work with controllers
-AI tweaks which should hopefully fix the bug which occasionally made an enemy fly off into nowhere.
-Adjusted some shaders.
-Updated engine to Unity 5.3.2
-Some more miscellaneous fixes.

New unity5test build available

There's a new build which *should* make splitscreen work on linux, alongside some general gameplay tweaks and crash fixes.

Activate it in the game properties if you want to try it out.

4 Player Splitscreen

4 Player splitscreen mode has been added to the unity5test build. Activate it in properties if you want to try it.

Unity 5 upgrade available for testing

A test build is up allowing players to try out the Unity 5 build. It also adds endless mode.

To activate it, open the beta participation section of the game properties in steam.

Steamworks scoreboard

The scoreboard now works through steamworks, so you can set it to check friend scores etc.

Also did a bit more physics tweaking on drill missiles and miniraptors.

Next patch will add achievements, and I'd be interested in suggestions.

Dedicated Servers + New Weapons

It's now possible to host a dedicated server. Setting up map rotation etc. is done by editing the DedicatedServer.txt file in the game folder. A standalone server (which won't require owning the base game) will be available soon.
Added new miniraptors secondary weapon. It launches tiny minions to destroy things for you. They can be equipped with chainguns, missile launchers or tesla coils. Unlock them by defeating the carrier (radioactive zone wave 10) or dreadnought (electron storm wave 5).
AI is now better at shooting/chasing moving targets.
Fixed some particle glitches for mac (probably)
Added a new bot which uses a shredder, hyperdisc and chaingun miniraptors.
MiniMissile primary weapon. Now you can spam missiles even when there's no ammo. It can be unlocked on Anomaly, Radioactive Zone or Electron Storm.
Added a heavy dummy to target practice mode.
Drill missiles now stick in things more reliably
Torpedoes now launch directly forwards.
Bombs and mines have bigger explosions.

Nightmare difficulty scoreboard hotfix.

A few maps had broken scoreboards on nightmare difficutly, this is now fixed.
