Open Beta - 5/26/2021
We have fixed a dialog skip function that wasn’t working after the last patch. A beta branch with this update is open for you to opt-in before it is implemented to the full game.
To join the beta, follow the instructions below:
1. In your Steam library, right click the game and go to Properties.
2. Navigate to the BETAS tab and enter the beta access code yakuza6theta
3. From the drop down menu, select “patch_theta”
4. You will be in the beta the next time you launch the game.
If you are still experiencing issues while in the beta, please communicate it on this thread with relevant system information included – it really helps us pinpoint the issue.

New Patch - 5/6/2021
The latest patch is now live, adding several fixes and improvements to the game. Thanks to those that participated in the beta!
Improvements and fixes in this patch include:
- Introduced additional setting option which disables skip prompts during dialogues. The skip functionality had been retained.
- Addressed the problem of stuttering experienced on some setups
- Fixed the problem with hitting homeruns in batting minigame when playing with ultrawide aspect ratios
- Fixed the problem with Kiryu freezing when attempting to perform Charge Attack
- Fixed the bug with Fighting Stance keybind being locked to the LB after rebinding
Feel free to use this thread to communicate any thoughts and/or issues with the latest patch. Please be sure to include any relevant system information included if you experience any bugs – it really helps us pinpoint the issue.

Patch 2 Beta Open - 4/22/2021
We have addressed a number of issues in the latest patch, which can be accessed via beta branch before deployment into the main game. This patch includes the below fixes:

Patch Now Live – 4/12/2021
Our latest patch is now live. Multiple issues have been addressed including but not limited to:
- Reduced CPU usage when not in focus
- Fixed phone camera issue not being able to take photos on certain installation setups
- Inescapable grab from last boss fixed (affected players with extremely high FPS)
- Performance difference in VF5 and Sega Arcade minigames when playing in 30FPS (now locked to 60FPS)
- Extreme Heat Mode keybind locked, now fixed
- Darts minigame throwing speed was different depending on FPS settings, now fixed
- Fixed the Sega Arcade game difficulty settings
