Big update for Custom Lobbies: introducing Co-op matches!
Get the whole squad together because... Yerr Out online lobbies can now hold up to 8 players!
Which means that Co-op matches are now possible as well! | 2v2 | 3v3 | 4v4 | ... and everything in between

The most-requested feature is finally here... Custom Lobbies!
You can now create a custom lobby for your friends or randos to join. In this lobby, the host can start a match and choose the match settings. These matches are considered "unranked" so you don't have to worry about your record every time when playing online
To join your friend's lobby, use either the in-game UI or the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab). When joining thru the Steam overlay, make sure you already have Yerr Out running. Then right-click your friend's name and select "Join Game"
You can also use the Steam overlay to send a lobby invite. In the Steam overlay, right-click your friend's name and select "Invite to Game"

This update contains a lot of subtle, wide-sweeping changes to gameplay - along with some visual updates to the playing fields
The changes are expected to have a big impact on character tier lists, by helping some of the neglected heavy characters swing big and be more viable, and also by cleaning up some animations for certain characters
Changes include:
hitting engine which determines launch angle/power based off hit contact
pitching speed and curve
character attributes
character animations (batting, throwing) have been cleaned up
Some characters with the most notable changes/buffs include: hippo, giraffe, mouse, spider, beetle, ant, ostrich, bear, and a lot of the secret characters
tweaked the bounce and friction for some fields
optimize fps for some fields
when fielding, sometimes mashing (A) while diving and grabbing the ball could result in weird behavior or the ball getting stuck, this should be much improved now
the pitcher covers 1B quicker after a hit
each field has its own ball trail fx, instead of red/blue for each team
the timer for Scramble Drill now waits until the ball touches the ground or a fielder before starting
CPU batting and fielding improved

This version has exceeded my expectations in many ways with the new fields and amount of characters. It's been a lot of fun working on this and hope that players love it too. Excited to see what others think and hear feedback. After so much internal playtesting, it's hard to have a fresh perspective. Tried to really dial everything in for this version, but as more games get played, expecting to make minor tweaks to things like character balancing and hitting engine
Down the road, expect there to be seasonal events, tournaments, promotions, etc. With new character releases as prizes

(very excited about this) -in addition, moved the fences back and made the outfield more spacious, to create more opportunities for extra base hits -tweaked a lot of character attributes (most characters got buffed) -reworked the running system, it should feel the same but be more consistent especially at different framerates -added more animal sfx
Lots of changes to hitting/running were made to get the heavy characters (elephant, hippo, etc) to be more viable. We'll see how this plays out, another round of balancing is expected
In the meantime, adding online play remains the top priority and then a full 1.0.0 release this Spring
