Development Update - November 2022
1. New Feature: Hard Mode for Yokai Art
Since most of the players had completely Normal mode, this is additional content for those who want to play more and spend time in Yokai Art. We are working on balancing the Hard Mode right now.
2. New Feature: Formation
As mentioned in the previous updates, since we are raising the difficulty of the game, we also want to make some additional mechanics to the gameplay (which might strongly affect the current gameplay) to let you guys have more ways of beating Yokai Art.
Currently, we have 6 types of formation which are
3 formations that required 1 type of element to activate - Consider Normal Tier
3 formations that required 2 type elements to activate - Consider High Tier
Formation unique ability: Once you unlock formation at a certain level, an additional passive ability will be added and of course, will benefit players.
Auto-populate formation: The player can preset formation and use it directly in the battle.
3. New Feature: Additional Raijin and Fujin Unit
We decided to push up Raijin and Fujin as units that will work differently compared with others. Raijin and Fujin will have high scaling on DPS or Special ability but can only maintain in the battle for a period of time or waves. Thus, it will limit their overpower ability of them. Also, pricing will be higher as well.
4. Balancing: Normal Difficulty and Strategy
As per players' feedback, our gameplay currently somehow still required players to spam units as the strategy. We are still working on it making the game more strategy-oriented, and reducing boss skill damage to prevent 1 hit killing. Hope this will help new players as well as everyone who loves Yokai Art
- Fixed Menreiki's Oni Feet Skill kills boss instantly and making game crashed on 7-3 - Added Koban reward to Halloween Dungeon (1000 - 1500 - 2000 - 2500 - 4000) - Added displaying item owned quantity in item's tooltip.
