Leaderboards
You can now view the global leaderboards for:
XP level
multiplayer rating
These leaderboards are updated once a day. You also have the possibility to find yourself in the ranking if you are not in the top 10!
Training
We've added the possibility to train for a maneuver: it will bring you to a practice wave and show your timing for that maneuver while you are riding the wave. This will help you understand how the timing works and where is the best section to hit each maneuver!
Media Capture
We are partnering with Omnislash to bring advancement screenshots capabilities: the system will automatically take screenshots when you hit perfect timing maneuvers and when you are in the barrel while using POV or inside the barrel cameras. You can find more information about it by following this link.

XP Progression
You can now earn XP by riding waves. Score 1,000 points to get 1 XP. Once you reach the XP target you will level up and move up in categories every 10 levels. XP levels will soon be used to unlock equipment in the shop. Can you make it to the G.O.A.T. status?
Tip: play in multiplayer mode to get a X3 XP bonus and progress faster!
Offline mode
We've added the possibility to play offline. You can still play in freeride mode without any internet access and it will save your scores locally, then store it online as soon as your connection is back. You will earn the XP related to these rides once it's saved online.

Never Stop Riding
YouRiding is officially released
We opened the game a year ago and thanks to your feedback we were able to make lots of improvements: much better graphics, a multiplayer mode, the basics of the shop and we improved many other things.
We still have a lot more to add but it is time to officially release the game, and not only on Steam but also on mobile devices!
The game is fully cross-platform so all your progression on one device will continue on the other one and you can play against players coming from any platform. We might add more platforms in a near future.
Not free-to-play anymore
Some former YouRiding players might be disappointed the game is not free like it used to be. Before, you were able to download the game for free but you had to pay for all the content inside the game and we were also showing you lots of ads. Now the game has a small price to pay but everything inside the game is available for free and there are no ads at all.
Why not doing the free-to-play anymore?
The answer is simple: in free-to-play, we have to design the game to generate revenue and it forces us to make decisions that usually go against the fun. By removing this constraint we can make a game that's fun to play without looking for money at every single corner.
I bought the game on Steam, can I have it on mobile?
The answer is YES if you bought the game in Early Access. Contact us at support@youriding.gg or via our Discord.
What is coming up next?
Here is the current roadmap:
XP Progression: earn XP by riding waves and competing in multiplayers, and unlock equipment in the shop by reaching certains levels of XP.
New shop and real brands: we are redesigning the shop and working with brands to include their products in the shop.
Journey challenges: we are building a feature letting you create a challenge like it was in the Journey. You can pick a list of waves and build challenges to make on each one of them, then share it to the community. Players will have to finish the first challenge to unlock the next one and so on until they are done with the whole challenge. Using that feature and the wave editor you could potentially rebuild the Journey entirely!
Championships: YouRiding is not YouRiding if we don't have worldwide championships! So that will be added next with official championships that will crown the YouRiding world champion! (is JDR going to win?)
