Here’s what you will find when you play Youtubers Life from today until November 4th:
New home and loading screens that will reflect the Halloween theme.
Buy new Halloween-themed items, such as ornamental pumpkins for your home, on the store. You will also find a bunch of Halloween themed sweets and candies for these days.
Zombify yourself and dress like a proper undead in case the dead rise from their graves. You can even choose unique zombie skin tones by creating a new character during this event! Because that’s what this is all about, isn’t it?
Unlock a new achievement by collecting the featured Halloween items: ornamental pumpkin, clothes and food!
The event only takes place until November 4th, so make sure you don't miss it!
Remember: just a week past Halloween Youtubers Life will get the new Fashion channel! Design your own looks, hit the runway and share special events with the world’s top models in this new, and free, DLC available on November 7!

It has been a long way since Youtubers Life came to your lives, but this journey is far from over. We are so happy to announce a new addition to Youtubers Life: the new Fashion channel! It will be available as a free DLC on November 7.
As you may already have guessed, everything will be about fashion, tailoring and even hitting the runway! You will start as the best friend of KimK, the biggest influencer when it comes to fashion, and you’ll have to climb your way to the top of the influencer’s list in order to get her crown and become the next big fashionista. It won’t be easy! But we assure you it will be a lot of fun.
How, you may ask? Well, here are a few things you will be able to do on this new channel.
Tailor every aspect of your life
From off the rack outfits to haute couture. Create your own style based on different themes, colors and seasons... But everybody knows there’s nothing like wearing a tailored shirt, right? You will have control over your clothes, your makeup, and even your haircuts.
From recording videos to exclusive events
Obviously, recording your own videos and feeding your channel with fashion content will be the main feature of your new adventure. While you start getting more fans and subscribers, you will get noticed by the very brands that are in vogue in the fashion industry.
Get along with them and you will gain access to selected events closed for ordinary people… But you won’t be ordinary at all, so get your camera and your best look and get ready to sip a drink along with the biggest celebrities: if you are lucky enough, you will be able to interview them for your channel!
Hit the runway as the next top model
This new game mode will expand the Fashion channel into uncharted territory as you will become the center of the stage… not on your channel but on the runway. In this new mode, you will have to gather all your expertise to pick the best ensembles available and get ready to bring them to the runway and become the Main Event! Aren’t you excited?

TRY THE NEW FASHION CHANNEL IN AN OPEN BETA, STARTING TODAY!
What’s up, youtubers!
We are back to announce that we are going to hold an open beta to showcase the upcoming fashion channel in Youtubers Life!
As you already know, you are going to have a new channel to become an even brighter star. The fashion channel will let you engage with your audiences in new, funnier ways, from directing models on the runway to designing your own clothes to having your very own outfit workshop and unleash your creative side. And, as we have done with previous updates, this one will be free for all Steam Youtubers Life owners.
Want to know about this open beta? It will be open to all Youtubers Life players and it will start… TODAY, September 25th, at 4pm CEST. It will last one week, until next Wednesday, October 2nd, at 4 pm CEST. To get access to it, you need to:
Select the game on your Steam library
Go to Properties > Betas
Choose “beta - Public beta” from the drop-down menu
Wait for the game to update and, voilà, you are now on your way to become the next fashion icon!

Youtubers Life 1.4 update is here!
Dear players,
First of all, many thanks to everyone who took part in the 1.4 open beta test, your reports were critical to this build's success.
This is a much-improved version over 1.3. Hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed developing it!
Here are the details:
Story
The ticket cost for the first trade fair in the Gaming Channel has been reduced.
The waiting times for several events have been reduced.
The first four houses moving requisites have been changed.
Economy
Videos earn more money from the shared flat onwards.
PC components' price has been reduced between 5% and 45%.
Cosmetic items' price has been reduced between 25% and 40%.
The Cooking Channel utensil price has been adjusted to make them more accessible.
Sleep and hunger expense when working has been reduced.
Food has been rebalanced to improve its cost/reward ratio.
Working now pays better.
Card game
Cards are now obtained through charisma points, a new currency which is earned through courses and missions.
Card unlock levels have been revised.
Card situational bonus has been re-balanced.
Pipper (social network)
Writing a Pipp now takes half as long.
Pipp effect has been increased by 25%.
Gaming Channel
Video games and console releases have been modified to follow a regular schedule.
Other
PC durability has been greatly increased.
Music and Cooking skill ceiling have been increased depending on the house to reduce impact on gameplay.
Gameplay improvements
Collaborators' status doesn't show over your character's bars. It made everything very confusing, leading players to believe that sleep and hunger were bugged.
Mom's house gameplay experience has been improved adding new objectives.
U-Tube videos are now monetized from 500 subs onwards.
The test is now a monthly mission while at mom's house. If you fail three times, it's game over.
The comment moderation has been improved and now displays your discoveries in real time.
The whole collaborator system has been redesigned to add new management features. There's now a new hiring process and there's a motivation variable that will influence their performance through the gameplay.
A new currency has been introduced: Charisma points. They can be used to unlock cards and obtained through missions and courses.
Mission panel has been improved. New weekly missions and clearer rewards. New visual feedback to differentiate missions.
You can now find more assignments at events, given by NPCs, that will let you earn good money.
Notifications have been improved and de-cluttered.
Computers can now be used while they're uploading a video.
There's a new window detailing gamepad and keyboard/mouse keys.
Locations
Gaming trade shows and cinema hall have been redesigned.
Lightning has been improved all around.
Fixed issues
Just for your info, we've treated about 500 (700 now!) issues since we released 1.3 until today. Some of the most important are:
Finally, we got a historic one: sometimes Network events stopped coming. FIXED!
Phone presentation sometimes failed.
Game froze on loading screen.
Course window blocked progress when a collaborator was selected.
Social bar dropped to 0 sometimes.
GUI translation errors (Spanish text).
Multiple errors in the Pipper section.
Creating live shows and restaurant gigs blocked the game sometimes.
Several card game issues.

How's the start for 2019 been? all good? we hope so :).
We've been hard at work since we released 1.3, collecting all your feedback and reports and, finally, 1.4 is ready to be tested by the players. For now, on PC only.
To join the beta, all you need to do is right-click Youtubers Life in your game library on Steam, select Properties and, in the BETAS tab, chose "beta - Public beta" from the drop-down menu.
Here are the details:
Changes from v1.3
Collaborators' status doesn't show over your character's bars. It made everything very confusing, leading players to believe that sleep and hunger were bugged.
Improved mom's house experience: U-Tube is monetized earlier and exams are a monthly mission.
Improved comment moderation feedback.

Some companies' level 1 rewards have issues.
There's an issue when going to the cinema during a tutorial.
