The KC Grand Tournament 2021 is about to begin, and bonuses for Duel Links players are already being given out! Take a look at all of the awesome stuff you’ll receive in celebration of this big tournament just for logging in, and then use those freebies to prepare your Deck for the first stage of the tournament!
Awesome Log-In Bonuses!
In addition to Gems and special packs, Duelists will receive 3 UR Tickets and 3 SR Tickets for logging in. Those 6 Tickets include a Prismatic and Glossy Ticket in each rarity. You can use these Tickets to select a card of the Ticket’s rarity to add to your collection. For these six Tickets, the list of cards that you can obtain is limited to a relatively small selection – but also included in the KC Grand Tournament 2021 log-in bonuses is an UR Dream Ticket and a SR Dream Ticket! These “Dream Tickets” can be redeemed for just about any card you want. Each of them can be redeemed for a card of its rarity from one of the first 31 BOXes, from any Structure Deck, or from an event. The Dream Tickets are perfect for finishing up a nearly complete Deck to use in the KC Grand Tournament. Be sure to log into Duel Links on 8 separate days while the KC Grand Tournament Celebration Campaign is going on, because you can only get 1 Ticket per day.
Logging into Duel Links during the Celebration Campaign also gets you a Skill Ticket that will instantly unlock a Character Skill of your choosing. You’ll also receive a brand new skill – Shooting Star Road – alongside a Legend Rare Shooting Star Dragon. Yusei’s Shooting Star Road Skill makes it a breeze to Summon his Shooting Star Dragon ace monster, and synergizes well with his Junk Synchron by letting you start the Duel with the Level 2 Junk Converter in the Graveyard. Structure Deck EX: Stardust Nexus contains powerful Stardust, Junk, and Synchron cards, including Junk Synchron, Junk Converter, Stardust Dragon, Formula Synchron, Junk Warrior, and Junk Archer. The Ultimate Tournament!
Only the best Duelists will rise to the top in the KC Grand Tournament 2021! This multi-stage tournament begins with the 1st Stage of the Preliminary Tournament on May 31st. During this stage, Duelists will compete against one another to increase their ranks and achieve the rank of DLv. MAX. Starting June 11th, Duelists who achieved the maximum rank are able to Duel against one another in PvP Duels to gain DP. Only the top 128 Duelists with the most DP will earn invitations to the next stage of the event: The Main Tournament! The 1st Stage of the Main Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 17th, and the KC Grand Tournament 2021 Main Tournament Championship will be held on August 28th, 2021. The ultimate Duelists in this ultimate tournament will receive the ultimate prize. This prize is the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense – an “Extra Secret Rare” Dark Magician card. Only the top 3 Duelists of the KC Grand Tournament 2021 will earn this special card.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links ZEXAL World Release Celebration Campaign!
Lead Your Forces Into Battle With Zubaba General!
Acquire your first Xyz Monster in Duel Links right away by logging in to get a Prismatic Zubaba General! Xyz Monsters are black-framed monsters that you can Special Summon from your Extra Deck by using monsters on your field as materials. The monsters used to Summon an Xyz Monster become Xyz Materials that attach to the Summoned Xyz Monster. Unlike other monsters, Xyz Monsters have “Ranks” instead of “Levels”. Different Xyz Monsters require different materials to Summon them, but an Xyz Monster’s Rank usually matches the Level of the monsters used to Xyz Summon it.
Take a look at Zubaba General, for example. You can Summon this Rank 4 monster from your Extra Deck by combining any 2 Level 4 monsters. Those 2 monsters become Xyz Materials attached to Zubaba General, and you can use those Xyz Materials to fuel its effect. By sending an Xyz Material attached to Zubaba General to the Graveyard, you can equip your Zubaba General with a Warrior-Type monster from your hand. Zubaba General starts with 2000 ATK, but gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all monsters equipped to it. That means its effect will easily let you raise its ATK to 4000 and above so that you can wipe out your opponent with a single attack!
Go Gaga Over Gagagaga Magician!
Monsters that can change their Levels are the most flexible in helping to perform an Xyz Summon. That’s what makes Gagaga Magician an impressive card in the ZEXAL era. Gagaga Magician is a Level 4 monster to start, but its effect lets you change its Level to any Level between 1 and 8 inclusive. That makes it useful for Xyz Summoning monsters from Ranks 1 through 8. You’ll receive a Prismatic UR Gagaga Magician just for logging in during the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign!
New Game Mat and Sleeves!
Duelists logging in during the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign will also receive an exclusive new Game Mat featuring Yuma Tsukumo, Astral, and Yami Yugi. The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2019 -Duel Links Division- will be here soon. In-game qualifiers begin on May 28th, as the 1st Stage of the qualifiers kick off! In honor of the 2nd anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, the Egyptian God Card, Obelisk the Tormentor, is finally here! Defeat Gravekeeper Ishizu in a Duel to receive a Prismatic copy of Obelisk the Tormentor! Obelisk has 4000 ATK and 4000 DEF, plus an effect that can wipe out all monsters on your opponent’s field. Obelisk also has the power to protect itself from specific Spells, Traps, and card effects, making it a potential PvP game-changer. Acquiring this unique God Card is a simple task, as Gravekeeper Ishizu uses a Level 20 Deck that isn’t too hard to defeat.
Selection BOX Vol.02 is Now Available!
Selection BOX Vol.02 is here with a bunch of powerful new cards including Necrovalley, Masked HERO Dian, Night Beam, and Scrap Archfiend. Selection BOX Vol.02 also contains incredible reprints of key cards for certain Decks. These cards include Masked HERO Anki, Noble Knight Medraut, U.A. Midfielder, Drowning Mirror Force, Mask Change, and Spellbook of Secrets.
Selection BOX Vol.01 and Selection BOX Mini Vol.01 are also once again available for sale until January 23rd, giving Duelists another opportunity to get valuable cards. Plus every booster pack from a Selection BOX contains 1 SR or UR card.
New Structure Deck Featuring Silent Swordsman!
There’s a new Structure Deck in the Shop featuring the Silent Swordsman cards! This Structure Deck adds Silent Swordsman itself to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links card pool – a card that you can Special Summon by Tributing any Warrior, and that can negate the activation of any Spell Card! When it’s destroyed by battle or by an opponent’s card effect, Silent Swordsman lets you Special Summon another “Silent Swordsman” monster from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. This effect will easily allow you to Special Summon Silent Swordsman LV5 or Silent Swordsman LV7.
