1.5.0 Air strikes update
Hello dear world saviors,
Back in the time, fighting zombies involved battles on the ground and battles at sea. But now, it's also a battle in the air, with the new air strikes update
-With the 1.5.0 update, you will now be able to build air bases, that will automatically send jet bombers at surrounding targets.
This will allow you to efficiently reduce the strength of incoming enemies, before engaging them in battle. However, air bases will require you to spend a lot of oil to stay active.
-A new unit has been added: The special forces. They can be built in the operations center.
This sneaky unit acts as kamikaze. They can be sent at enemy targets and kill a large part of it. This can be very useful to reduce the defense of a well-protected place (such as bandit camps for example).
-But that's not all! The initial infestation has been reworked. Before, infestors were spawning everywhere at the right beginning of the game. The patient zero notification was appearing only when the first city was hit. But this was purely informational. Now, the infestation REALLY starts with a random country in the world, and spreads progressively. If you are lucky enough, you will start far away from the patient zero and you will have a few months to get ready. Some notifications will give you an idea of the infestation progress.
-Now, comes some more funny business. The new update also brings a Cheat engine. If you find the game too hard, or just want to experiment some new things, just press "F10" during game time. And well... you will be able to experiment new things about the game!
And some other changes: -Fixed an issue that was preventing refugees to bring back the infestation when they return to their native city -Other various small bug fixes and corrections
With springtime, love is in the air strikes.

1.4.0 update
Hello dear world saviours,
This new update is a bit smaller than previous ones. However, it brings some interesting new content, especially for the late game
-The first one is the Weather system. Each world region now has a current temperature according to the month (you can view it by right-clicking on the map). What does it change? Well you know, zombies are freezing when it's cold, making them slower and easier to kill. But when the weather is hot, they will run faster and be more effective during combats! Now it will be up to the player to decide when and where to face the zombies, according to the bonus/malus brought by the current weather.
-A few days after the vaccine breakthrough, zombies will start to decay. As time will goes by, they will be more in more easier to kill. That will help players that want to totally clean the Earth. -All nuclear arsenals have been increased. -You can now board and land units through harbours controlled by countries from which you have a mutual support agreement, or in multiplayer cooperation mode. -Builders doesn't reduce diplomatic relations anymore when they are on a foreign territory -Fix a crash that occurred sometime when a diplomatic offer expires -Fix a bug where infestors were "stacking" on cities and refugee camps -Fix a bug in battles in multiplayer mode -Various other fixes and adjustments
1.3.1 hotfix
Hi dear zombie killers,
A small update today to fix some bugs
-Fix: Attacking hordes or bandits on foreign territory wasn't considered as help for mutual support pact. -Fix: Attacking a country doesn't reduce anymore mutual relations with its neighbours if they are at war. -Fix: Bug with pathfinding -Fix: Issue with the "Now we are free" achievement
1.3.0 Diplomacy update
Hello dear world saviors,
Back in the time, there was only a single way to ensure vital resources for your people: take from your neighbours by force. Does that mean that a zombie Apocalypse will certainly bring Mankind back to its dark age? The answer is no, because, we've invented a new way to solve issues: Diplomacy. You should definitely give a try!
-With the 1.3.0 update, there is now a full Diplomacy system, that will allow you to interact more with other nations:
There are three agreement types:
Non aggression treaty: Just ensure that both of you won't attack each other
Mutual support pact: Agree to often send help to each other (military or medical). Also allow you to move unit and build structures through partner territory. The Fog of war is also shared
Resources trade: Also allows gifts or resource requests to improve mutual relations
Remember that when you sign a treaty, you should not break it. Otherwise, other countries will see you as untrustworthy.
And some other changes: -Fixed an issue that was making ambulances slower because of tech researches -Fixed a multiplayer desync issue that was often occuring at the beginning of the game -Fixed a UI bonus color in the policies tab -Fix AI for nuke usage -Fix a steam achievement -Fixed a bug that was making a city/refugee camp neutral on some conditions -Fixed an issue that caused trouble for joining a multiplayer game through Steam -Fixed an issue with patrol in multiplayer mode -Removed the old send resources buttons in multiplayer (now it's possible through diplomacy) -Other fixes and small adjustments
No need to be scared by Halloween anymore! You know how to react if you are at the head of the state!
1.2.0 Nuclear strikes update
Hello dear world saviors,
I know exactly what you think. It’s so tiring to fight zombies with only small weapons like guns, rifles, knives, baseball bats, and then what? No! It’s time to use a better fire power. Like nuclear bombs!
-With the 1.2.0 update, some countries now start the game with nuclear silos, that contain some missiles. You can use them to target an area and destroyed everything that live inside! The ultimate weapon of course, right?
Well of course, that will change a lot of things. However, as you can imagine, you better don’t use that weapon against other countries. I mean, you can! But you will have to face the consequences… Oh, and one more thing: radiation may cause some mutation on zombies. But your surely don’t have to worry about that… Are you ready to experience the thermonuclear global war in addition to zombie Apocalypse?
-Wait! Don’t move on to try it already, there is more! With that update also comes the new patrol system. You heard it right. Armies can now be tasked to patrol between two points, and automatically engage all surrounding threats (according to an engagement policy that you can select). An interesting feature if you have a large territory to watch!
-And that’s not over yet. This update also brings the population growth! Every country has a default yearly population growth rate. It can be raised or decreased using some policies. And if your country is experiencing panic or energy shortage, this will also impact that growth. A strong population is nice, but don’t forget that they need energy!
-So, is that cool? Yes, for sure! But with that update, you can also lose population. Refugees can now flee your cities by themselves if you are experiencing panic or infestation. And there is no way to get them back! However, don’t worry, that means that you will certainly meet refugees fleeing other countries for the same reason!
And some other changes: -The cities’ hitbox has been improved -Harbours and mines can now be abandoned -Crossing borders to help AI in a battle doesn’t reduce mutual relation anymore -Added a new game track -Fixed an issue with daily resources variation drawing -Fixed a crash when AI starts researching the vaccine -Various other small fixes
Many tasks done! I cross them frantically from my to-do list. And I’m back into it!
