Server Adjustments



Dear players:

We are sincerely sorry to announce the following server adjustments:

Current server: Asia Server 2 and 8 will be closing on December 21.
Current servers: Asia Server 7, Asia Server 9 and Asia Server 10 will be preserved until February 23, 2023.
Current servers: Europe Server and America Server will be adjusted into international servers that can be accessed from both mobile and pc devices in December, 2022.
After February 23, we will reset all servers to allow access from both mobile and pc.


December Optimization Update Announcement



Thank you for your support and patience with Zero-based World! First of all, we would like to apologize for recent delay in game updates. In this update, we are applying the changes and adjustments we had made in Android testing versions to Steam version, preparing for opening up new servers that allow data interworking.

In June 2022, we started Android testing in Southeast Asia region. Since we started testing, we had made multiple adjustment towards game optimization, novice guide, and task-related recipes. In this update, these adjustments will be applied to current version:

  • Graphic display
  • Footstep sounds
  • Spear attack sound
  • Quest notification sounds
  • Quest-related object recipe
  • New novice weapon: Simple Bola. Simple Bola can be crafted by grass and stone, and can be thrown out at small creatures to knock them out by press and hold attack.
  • New 2D animations: 5 new animations are added to guide new players go through novice tasks.
  • New NPCs: 3 new NPCs are added to the game. Players can interact with them for some game tips. More NPC-related functions will be added in the future.


In the following months, we will work on developing server interworking. New servers are expected to be available in early 2023. In new servers, players from either Android devices or Steam platform are able to enjoy the game together.

In the past 6 months, we spent most of the time on optimizing the game’s Android version, and the update for Steam version had been delayed and we sincerely apologize for the delay. Once the new servers are ready, we will continue creating new game contents, game events, and bring better game experience to players in 2023.

6.2 Major Update

This summer event update was put off for a month due to local covid policies, and we would like to sincerely apologize for all players for the delay in this update.

As summer coming, the New Spring Event would come to an end. Meanwhile, the brand-new Midsummer Event is now available in game for players. During Midsummer Event, players are able to plant event flowers to collect sunlight, draw random rewards, and get new plant companions.

New content in store: The in-game store was now updated! New Midsummer packs are now available as well as two different building structure packs! Now players can purchase crystal building structures and composite building structures in store.

In this update, we also adjusted the health and attack values of rune creatures and elemental creatures, increased the max level for several weapons, and fixed existing bugs in last version.

Summer Event: The Midsummer Festival



The theme of Midsummer Event is growing flowers. During the summer event, players are able to collect sunlight and Midsummer Memories by planting Sunflowers or Gerberas, and use them to draw mysterious rewards in the Fortune Pinwheel.

The Scorching Sun:



Summer arrived in Dream Land, and the dormant sunflowers begin to bloom. During summer event, players would find Dwarf Sunflowers scattered over the Dream Land. By interacting with the Dwarf Sunflowers, players can randomly get Sunlight or Unstable Seeds. Use them to grow flowers that produce more Sunlight. Craft event flowerpots and event limited fertilizers to expand your planting scale, collect more Sunlight for follow-up activities!

When the plant reaches maximum level, players can release the plant to next stage using same plants and new event material: Alien Seedling and Alien Sprout. Plants of new stages will have different appearance and new skills.

Changes in Store:



Multiple new event packs are now available in store: Cactus Pack, Mysterious Bud Pack, Sunlight Bud Pack, Sunlight Pack, Midsummer Memory Pack. All these discounted packs will assist players to have an impressive time during Midsummer Event.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Building Structure Pack and Composite Structure Pack are also available in store now. By clicking “View More” in the right bottom corner, players can check structures separately.

Gameplay experience:



1. Slightly reduced the amount of Branches dropped when chopping down trees.
2. Increased the amount of Branches when picking Saplings.
3. Changed required material for crafting Arrows, Poisonous Arrows from Wood to Branches.
4. The Spicy Strip can now be used to tame herbivores and omnivores.
5. Silver Spicy Strip can now be equipped as weapon.
6. Changed the distribution of Carrots to underground. Eating Carrots provides cold resistance to the character.
7. Changed the distribution of Mushrooms to the Mud Area.
8. Changed the temperature in grassland, make sure new players won’t get hypothermia from night rains.
9. Player behaviors in the early stage of gameplay will no longer consume water.

Recipe Adjusted:



1. Added Discontinued Recipe Group.
2. Move all Discontinued Memories into Discontinued Recipe Group.
3. Changed memories of crystal building structures, some creature equipment and Amulet to Discontinued Memories.

Optimization & Bugs Fixed:



1. Fixed the bug that character would freeze when trying to wake up.
2. Fixed multiple bugs that might lead to game collapse.
3. Fixed the bug of the door flickering.
4. Players can now dash when swimming.
5. Fixed the bug of creature flickering when dismounted.
6. Fixed the bug that creatures might move around with sleeping gestures.
7. Fixed multiple display bugs.
8. Now picking up animals will not trigger the death animation of the animal.
9. Corrected the displayed time in Team interface.
10. Fixed the bug that facilities would sometimes stop producing products.
11. Greatly increased the speed of loading landscapes and buildings.
12. Corrected the rare product of crops from Silver Spicy Strip to Fruit of Knowledge.

Forecast on future updates:



In the future update, we will continue optimize game content and game experience. The development of our game for mobile devices is now close to completion, and already started testing in some regions on Google Play.

3.29 Optimization Update

This update mainly focuses on user interface improvement and decreasing the render cost for building structures.

Building Optimization:


We optimized the building structures in game to decrease the rendering time for buildings.

New Creatures:

Pocket-size Moose (Hat)

Pocket-size Moose (Weapon)

By releasing the Moose in Utopia, there are possibilities for players to get three types of creatures listed above. The new pocked-size creature can be equipped to the character, offering strengths from the Moose. By further releasing the creatures, the bonus effect can be improved.

Model Modification:



  • Remade the model of Piles of Clay, the size description is removed from their names.
  • Remade the model of Tall Grass and increased the amount of them.
  • Adjusted the appearance of Straw outfit and Wooden Armor.
  • Remade the model of the Seed of Heart.
  • Remade the model of Clay.


Guidance Optimization:



  • We re-organized the content and timing of the guidance. All guidance is now updated to fit the latest version.
  • The icons list is now a separate section in help window.

Now Cactus and Strange Meat can be roasted. Strange Meat can also be put up on the Drying Racks to turn them into Jerky.

Creature Adjustment:



  • Giant Sheep is now able to produce heat. Players can now keep themselves warm by staying close to the Giant Sheep.
  • Players can now exchange items with Giant Penguins. Building structures, weapons and equipment can all be dragged into the inventory of Giant Penguin to exchange for resources.
  • Giant Squirrels can now perform ranged attacks when mounted.
  • Giant Rabbits can now knock other creatures out with their kicks.


Attribute Adjustment:



  • The attribute Poison now causes both damage and sanity loss. When hit by poisonous attacks there will be special visual effects.
  • Adjusted the anima cost, health and attack values for pocket-size creatures and giant creatures.
  • Adjusted the distribution of creatures in Snowlands.


UI Adjustments:


1. Removed the attribute bars on the upper-left corner of the screen. Character’s health and thirst will be displayed above character’s head, when fully recovered they will become invisible.
2. Added descriptions for splitting and discarding items.
3. Decreased the vibration of icons when opening up memory menu. Now players can check memory menu faster.
4. Changed the formatting of some descriptions.
5. Slightly adjusted the size of names of interactive devices.
6. Removed the countdowns on items when the item is used up.
7. The UI of locking camera on enemies is now translucent.

Adjustments:


1. Decreased the probability for trees to drop Tree Sap. The Tree Sap in recipe of Storage Boxes are changed to Huge Leaf.
2. Added a new recipe for workbenches. Players can now use Huge Leaves to craft more Ropes in workbenches.
3. Removed some abandoned memories.
4. Greatly reduced the production time for Rope, Stone Ash, Flour and Chemical Fertilizer.
5. Wooden Amulet’s durability won’t drop automatically now.
6. Now roasted food, Bread and Jumbo Burger provide more heat for the character.
7. The precondition of unlocking Sloping Ceilings are now Walls.
8. The precondition of unlocking Iron Gate is now Blacksmith Workbench.
9. The stack number of Poached Eggs is now 10.
10. Large creatures can now equip head gears and body gears.
11. Reduced the charcoal from the loots of Branches.
12. Greatly increased the bonus speed provided by Carrot Stick.
13. Wooden Wild Boar Armor and Clay Pot now require one extra mucus to be crafted.
14. Increased the health value of Spiders.
15. Decreased the required amount of Linen Fiber for crafting Pelt Clothes.
16. The ingredients of Monster Vegetable Stew are changed to Strange Meat, Durian Flesh and Roasted Mushrooms. It’s now the most efficient food for taming scavengers.
17. Increased the sanity loss caused by poisonous attacks.
18. Removed Premium Wood from the recipe of Yak Saddle.
19. Removed the Imagination cost for basic straw buildings and some wooden buildings.
20. The durability of Eggplant in Clay Pot and Milk are now increased to 8000.
21. Rope is now required for crafting Coconut Flask.
22. Replaced Premium Wood with Wood from the recipes of Iron Axe and Iron Pickaxe.
23. Increased the sanity recover value of Soda.
24. Replaced wool with Linen Fiber in the recipe of Feather outfits.
25. Changed the ingredients required for Delicious Meat Broth.

Optimization & Bugs Fixed:


1. Changed the icon of Will in the Seed of Heart.
2. Corrected the probability of dropping Dragon Fruits when chopping down Cactus.
3. Fixed the bug of hatched creatures not belonging to players.
4. Fixed the bug of losing hatched creatures when sending them to Utopias.

Follow-up Update notice:


We will continue optimizing the detailed game experience in our following updates. Released creatures will have more skills and functions to help players with their exploration. Also, we are now working on developing functions including changing character names and starting new game, which will be completed within a short period.

3.8 Optimization Update

The New Spring Event: Upgrading the Nian Beast


We adjusted the growth of the Nian Beasts.
New creatures:
1. Crystal Nian Beast
2. Auspicious Nian Beast
New item: Fantasy Nian beast's Egg
Crystal Nian Beast and Auspicious Nian Beast are new rare Nian beasts that look like Mini Nian Beasts. They can’t be released in Nian Beast Altar, but as resources for releasing Nian Beasts, exiling them gives players a large amount of Anima.
Decreased the required amount of Nian Beasts for releasing Nian Beasts and Ice Nian Beasts. Higher level Nian Beasts now require Crystal Nian Beasts and Auspicious Nian Beasts to release to next stage.
The Crystal Nian Beast and Auspicious Nian Beast can be hatched from all kinds of Nian’s Eggs with low possibility.
The Fantasy Nian Beast’s Egg is a rare loot of the King of Nian Beasts and only hatch Crystal Nian Beasts or Auspicious Nian Beasts.
Slightly increased the possibility for the King of Nian Beast to drop Ice Nian Beast’s Egg.
Decreased the Anima cost for upgrading Nian Beasts.
Note: There’s no adjustments on the difficulty of releasing a Nian Beast in this update.

Environment Adjustments:


We added some decorative trees to the Grassland.
Removed the Blood-sucking Mosquitos at the edges of the desert: now they only spawn deep in the desert.

New Equipment:



Linen Clothes: Cooling outfit with resistance to poison.
Linen Hat: Cooling hat with resistance to poison.

Guidance Optimization:


We added quest descriptions on the main interface to help players understand the quests better.
Some guidance has been moved to the bottom-left of the main interface as hints, instead of popping up.
Adjusted lots of guidance contents to fit the new game experience.
Optimized some item descriptions.

Adjustments:


1. Adjusted the skills of Boars and Wolves, they now move more naturally.
2. Strengthened the charged attack of the Pike. Now the charging time is longer and characters can move when charging.
3. Changed the way players acquire wools. Wools are no longer loots of Sheep, instead they become outcomes when feeding tamed sheep.
4. Increased the food types of Colorful Birds and Yaks. Now all crops can be fed to them to produce eggs or milk.
5. Changed the recipe of Roast Nuts. Now all seeds can be baked into Roast Nuts except for Pineapple Seeds.
6. Removed the durability lost of the Memory Bracelet when attacking creatures. Now its durability only drops when character respawns.
7. Adjusted the sound of Boars and Moose.
8. To throw rocks, players now need to press and hold attack. One click would result in character kicking forward.
9. The sanity attribute is now changed into dizziness and it’s 0 by default. Satiety is changed into cold hardiness.
10. Ropes are not required for Pikes, Straw Tents and Straw Clothes.
11. The Eggplant Seeds are no longer loots of rabbits. They can now be found in Tall Grasses.
12. Added captions to the game start animation.
13. Character’s inventory list would be opened when interacting with production facilities.
14. The character now eats food faster.
15. Increased the durability of straw products and stone weapons.
16. Adjusted the attack values of creatures.
17. Adjusted some attack and defense values of the equipment and weapons.
18. Increased the attack value of the Nian Beasts.
19. Adjusted creature’s attribute values in Utopia.
20. Now characters and creatures can switch between walking/running by clicking shift.

Optimization & Bugs Fixed


1. Fixed the movements when dodging with clubs. Now it won’t be interrupted.
2. Repaired the problem of frequent loading.
3. Fixed the bug that animals would sometimes freeze during combats.
4. Fixed the bug that players can’t change their weapon sometimes.
5. Fixed the memory bugs when changing characters.
6. Fixed the bug that some facilities would stop working during production.
7. Repaired the Utopia animation.
8. Fixed the bug that players can’t craft items with Quick Access bar.
9. Repaired the auto-clip for building structures.
10. Fixed the bug that players in the same team would sometimes be recognized as enemies.
11. The Character can now perform some movements during jumps.
12. Increased the frame rate.

Follow-up Update notice:


We will continue optimizing the detailed game experience, decrease the latency caused by building structures and facilities. We are now trying to adjust the attack and defense values of all creatures, hoping to have a better positioning for different creatures and weapons.

1.30 Spring Update

At the beginning of 2022, our new Spring update is released.
This update mainly carries our Spring special events, in which players can challenge the fierce beasts only show up in early spring.
Newly added in-game store. Now players can purchase basic materials, eggs and special-event-limited materials.

Spring Event: The Nian Beast


The theme of our Spring event in the beginning of this new year is the Nian beast.
Note: This event would be longer and last for the whole season. There’s no need to worry and just play at your own pace!

Anomalies on the Land:


During Spring event, mysterious creatures appeared in this Dream Land.
These creatures include Nian beasts with burning flames, cute mini Nian beasts and invincible boss: the King of Nian beasts.
Mini Nian beast: Cute cubs of the Nian beast that appear randomly in the Dream Land. These puny creatures can only run away from you when being attacked. Defeating a mini Nian beast gives you one Memory of Spring.
Nian beast: Powerful creatures that sporadically appear in the world with blazes burning on their bodies. Nian beasts are neutral creatures, their attacks cause fire damage and is hard to defend. They move slowly but have high defense, can only be effectively harmed by attacks of special weapons in Spring event. Defeating Nian beasts gives you 3 Memory of Spring, Horn of Nian beast, Fire Element and Sulfur.
The King of Nian beasts: Powerful boss creature appears in early spring. One stays in Dreamland while the other is in the Oasis in desert. It would be extremely hard to challenge the King of Nian beasts and players will need higher-level special equipment, weapons and teammates. The King of Nian beasts would gradually drop Memory of Spring and Horn of Nian beast when its health drops. Players can find precious Nian beast’s Eggs after defeating the King of Nian beasts. By using Nian beast’s Egg, players can hatch their own Nian beasts.
Note: All Nian beasts in the wild cannot be tamed.

Preparation for the spring:


To prepare for the challenges in Spring event, there are some special contents added in this event.
Special contents:
1. Memory of Spring: The basic memory of Spring event, provides memories of special weapons and food. It’s also the basic material for crafting other Spring event items. Can be converted into a bit anima in Nian Beast Altar.
2. Horn of Nian Beast: The horn of Nian beast, material for crafting Spring event equipment. Can be converted into a large amount of anima in Nian Beast Altar.
3. Spring Potage: Special food in Spring event, requires Memory of Spring to cook. Provides advanced memories in Spring event. By consuming Spring Potage, players can get multiple advanced memories.
4. Water Dragon Mace: Special weapon in Spring event that performs water elemental attacks. Quite effective for Nian beasts.
5. Water Dragon Cannon: Special weapon in Spring event that performs water elemental attacks. Less dangerous that the rocket launchers but effective for Nian beasts.
6. Nian Outfit: Special festive equipment in Spring event, greatly enhances player’s fire resistance. Effective armor for defending attacks from Nian beast. Players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
7. Nian Hat: Special festive equipment in Spring event, greatly enhances player’s fire resistance. Effective armor for defending attacks from Nian beast. Players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
8. Nian Beast’s Egg: Precious reward for defeating the King of Nian beasts. Can be hatched into tamed Nian beasts.
9. Ice Nian Beast’s Egg: Rare reward for defeating the King of Nian beasts. Can be hatched into tamed Ice Nian beasts.
10. Nian Beast Altar: The Altar for your hatched Nian beasts, which could also be considered as the Utopia for Nian beasts. Players can convert Memory of Spring and Horn of Nian beast into anima within it and upgrade their Nian beasts, eventually merging them into Giant Nian beasts and the King of Glacier. Players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
11. Nian Beast Saddle: The saddle for Nian beasts, players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
12. Giant Nian Beast Saddle: The saddle for Giant Nian beasts, players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
13. Ice Nian Beast Saddle: The saddle for Ice Nian beasts, players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.
14. The King of Glacier Saddle: The saddle for the King of Glaciers, players can acquire its memory by consuming Spring Potage.

In Spring event, hunt mini Nian beasts for Memories of Spring to craft special weapons. Challenge Nian beasts for more rewards, cook Spring Potage to unlock advanced memories. Arm yourself with advanced equipment, challenge the King of Nian beasts to hatch your own Nian beast. Build the Nian Beast Altar and raise your Nian beasts to finally get Giant Nian beast and mysterious King of Glacier.

Power of Nian Beasts:


Except for Nian beasts appear in the wild, there are other types of Nian beasts hatched from Nian beast’s Eggs, or merged in Nian Beast Altars.
Ice Nian Beast: There’s a small probability that players could acquire an Ice Nian beast Egg when defeating the King of Nian Beasts, which can be hatched into Ice Nian beasts by Incubator or Large Incubator. Ice Nian beasts’ attack causes ice elemental damage. Ice elemental attacks causes extra damage to Nian beasts, but Ice Nian beasts is also weak to fire elemental damage.
Giant Nian Beast: By converting Memory of Spring and Horn of Nian beast into anima in Nian Beast Altar, you can upgrade and merge Nian beasts to eventually get a Giant Nian beast with its true power released.
The King of Glacier: Rare creature merged by Ice Nian beasts, causes massive ice elemental damage.

Adjustments:


1. New Content:


New Facility: Large Incubator. Large Incubator is used for hatching T-Rex Eggs, Scorpion Eggs, Serpent Eggs and Giant Worm Eggs. Original Incubator can no longer hatch these eggs.

2. Specified Descriptions:


We specified all descriptions in our game, adding information introducing their sources, attributes and usages.
For example: Eating patterns are added into animals’ descriptions, special icons are added to the descriptions for foods which can be used to tame animals. Sources of materials and consumptions of facilities are also added. Most of these hints are represented by icons. The meanings of those icons are listed below:

3. In-game Store Available:
Store can be accessed from the menu in the left bottom of game interface. A new creature can be purchased in store: Bigmouth.
4. The outcome of Strange Eggs is adjusted: Increased the chances of getting insects.

Follow-up Update notice:


As we stepped into 2022, we will further optimize production process, game experience and combats. Effects of different attributes such as elements would be adjusted. Animals will have more special abilities, and we would work on fixing the synchronize problems of creatures. Also, new creatures and new Seed of Heart would be updated later.

1.17 Major Update

There have been a few days since the update in test servers and here comes the update announcement. In this version, a new content is added: The Mirror of Heart. It allows players to improve the power of characters to fight the monsters in this dream world.
We re-designed the user interface, simplified the operations for better visual effect, and adjusted the definition and effects of the basic character attributes.
Meantime, we re-organized the game process, structures of production and the effects of foods, to decrease the difficulties in daily activities.
The quest sequence is adjusted.
Besides, we also fixed some bugs and problems noticed in previous version.


New Content: Seed of Heart



  • Seed of Heart


    A new content is added: The Seed of Heart.
    When entering the game, players will get a default Seed of Heart: Seed of Lake. It can be seen on the right side of character’s health bar or in the Seed of Heart section in main menu.
    The Seed of Heart will slowly grow when equipped. Check your Seed periodically and it would eventually grow into the Flower of Lake. Then players are able to release the true power within it.

    New players can have the memory of the Mirror of Heart by finishing quests. For previous players that already spent some time playing the game, a gift code: 418A5470 is offered to exchange for the memory.

    Craft a Mirror of Heart, then you will be able to examine your Seed of Heart in it. Put your Flower of Lake into the Mirror of Heart, update it with your Imagination and turn it into the Heart of Lake.


    The Heart of Lake can slowly heal you by consuming water. By updating the Heart of Lake, the water consumption can be reduced. The healing speed can also be improved when the Heart of Lake is upgraded to a certain level.

    There are also other different Seed of Heat that brings you unique powers and they will be unlocked in following updates.
  • Wills


    Besides the original power of the Seed of Heart, a Will slot will be unlocked when the Seed of Heart is first upgraded to level 5. From now, you are able to further strengthen your power with Wills.
    There is a small probability for players to get the Fragments of Will by defeating the treasure chests underground. The Fragment of Will can be used to upgrade the Seed of Heart, or be merged into a complete Will in the Furnace of Will.
    By crafting the Furnace of Will, you can get a random Will by merging 5 Fragments of Will together. The Will can be inlayed in your Seed of Heat to provide bonus attributes to your characters.

    The Will slots in the Seed of Heart could be different: General slots can be inlayed with any types of Wills, while slots with special icons only accept corresponding Wills.




Major Content Adjustment: The Explorer



  1. Basic Character Attributes:


    We significantly adjusted the hunger and thirst attributes. Now they are no longer your burden in your adventure. When the temperature is comfortable, players will not suffer from any negative effects from being hungry or thirsty.
    Hunger Attribute: The Hunger Attribute is changed into character’s cold resistance. Most food will no longer provide satiety and only specific cooked food can recover your cold resistance. So, in areas where temperature is fine, players no longer have to eat food for survival. Only keep in mind to prepare these food and warm clothes when setting off for cold areas.
    Thirst: In most areas, being thirsty will not bring you any negative effects. Still, water can help you endure heat. Also, most Seeds of Heart’s ability consumes water, so preserving water is still beneficial.
    We adjusted the interfaces displaying basic attributes and only health and thirst is displayed now.
    Hunger is changed into Cold Resistance, which is invisible most of the time. It will only become visible in cold environments.
    Sanity is also invisible now and it only shows up when there’s sanity loss.
  2. Changes in Player Interface


    The player interface is re-designed. Except for the changes in basic attributes, the operation buttons and description boxes are also adjusted.
    1、Interaction is moved to the bottom of the description boxes.

    2.Splitting or discarding items are now moved to the top left of the inventory list. Players can now double click the items or memories to use/unlock them.

    3.Now most item descriptions in crafting menu include the information of their sources.



  3. New Appearance of the Character


    We remade the character’s face, hoping to provide players a better experience while playing. Also, we changed the default character outfit into pajamas decorated with different animal features.
    For previous players, the appearance of your characters will be automatically changed into the new pajama version based on previous appearance.
    We are still working on developing the function allowing players to modify their character appearance in game. However, if players would like to modify the appearance of their existing characters in this version, you can enter a new server without previous archive, edit the character appearance in creating-character interface and there would be a unique Appearance Code down the left side beneath the character name bar. Copy that code and send it to us via QQ or Discord, and we can send you a corresponding gift code to help you change your character appearance.

Experience Adjustment:


1. The gaps between the Imagination amount different foods provide is widened. Foods in early stages now provides less Imagination, while the Imagination amount provided by advanced foods is largely increased.
2. Improved the experience when using bows: now the arrows are faster and players are able to hit their enemies more easily.
3. Changed the attack movements of the pike: the forward dashing attack is now changed to charged dash.
4. Adjusted the material needed for crafting: Some rare materials are now removed from primary devices requirements and the needed material amount is decreased.
5. Steel Powder and Transparent Sheet are now removed. Now Steel Powder is replaced by volcanic ash, and Transparent Sheet is replaced by Crystal.
6. Cement’s recipe is adjusted to Mucus*2, Stone Ash*3, Clay*2. The consumption of Stone Ash is slightly increased.
7. Clear Oil is renamed as Gathered Energy. Gathered Energy can be produced directly or acquired from underground.
8. Increased equipment’s durability: Most equipment’s durability is doubled, and the durability of grass basket is improved by 5 times greater.
9. Increased the capacity of basic materials: Now the capacity of a group of metal orbs or Stone Ash is up to 100, while wood stock limit is increased to 200.
10. Now the smelter has to be driven with electric power using chemical batteries, but the difficulty of producing chemical batteries is greatly decreased.
11. Most animals inventory space is expanded. Wolves’ inventory space is now 10, tigers’ is 15, and elephants’ is 20.


Optimization & problems fixing:


1. Repaired the function of device accessories: Now device accessories can enhance the producing speed of devices.
2. Repaired the bug that character can’t go backwards when mounting on animals.
3. Fixed the bug that there’s possibility for wooden clubs not being able to perform charged attacks.
4. Fixed the displaying problem of anima amounts in Utopias.
5. Now all interactive objects would be highlighted when mouse hovers above.
6. Improved the experience of placing Campfires and Meat Drying Racks.
7. Improved the basic movements of character.


Follow-up Update notice:


Except for the continuous improvement and optimization towards our current game contents, our new game event celebrating the coming spring is going to be updated shortly later. In this event, there will be more powerful enemies that need players to fight together.


Major Update on November 30th


  • New content: Smoother Actions




      Christmas is approaching, and we release this month's update as an early gift. In this update we have a very different focus with the previous ones, mainly optimizing the experience of the basic actions and combat scenes, which is expected to bring an unprecedented huge impact on the whole game experience.

    1. Smoother Actions


      Good News! Your character is now able to run!!!


      Beyond that, the basic actions of the character have been greatly enhanced, your character now is more agile.
      The basic actions that have been updated or adjusted include:
      1. Glide Evasion - it was redesigned and re-implemented. New implementation has avoided the sense of lag from swaying back and forth, and is is without CD time. You can do Evasion at any time when or between walking and running, the Rolling action after an Evasion also becomes smoother.

      2. Sprint Dash - long press the Evasion button, you can enter into a Sprint Dash mode after the Glide Evasion action, in which you are running faster. This function makes you more flexible whether you are quickly moving or fighting, and some weapons will have special attacking effects during the Sprint Dash mode.

      3. Swimming Dash - do you still have the bad memory of swimming slowly in the water? Now what you need is simply clicking the Evasion button, then you will enter the Swimming Dash mode. You can swim a long distance in a minute, helping you swiftly get rid of the awkward situation.

      In addition to these three new actions, we also adjusted some actions’ performance effects, including some details -- when you turn sharply or suddenly stop during a running Evasion, for example, there will be sharp stop effects, to improve the gaming experience.
    2. Weapon Master


      We have improved the experience of melee weapons by redesigning the attack skills of heavy weapons(such as Wooden Stick) and adjusting some of combat skills of Spear.
      Now melee weapons have more skills, with many starting skill added.
      When a player begin to attack, different skills will be applied, depending on the current speed and status, such as standing, running and sprinting. Meanwhile, these starting skills can also be applied into the combos.
      Heavy weapons now have a charge attack mode. Long press the button can trigger the charge attack and different charge attacks will be applied according to your current status like standing, walking, running and dodging. Charge attacks are more powerful than normal attack with a larger range.
      You can also preform a jump attack with heavy weapons which has more powerful effects, helping you paralyze your enemies more easily.
      The spear's attacks have also been adjusted with optimized actions. The related actions are more reasonable now, the moving range during a combo is reduced. With the newly added Evasion, the battle will be more controllable and easy to operate.
      The speeds of the arrow, both starting speed and flying speed, are increased, to improve the hit rate.

      After this adjustment, the role of melee weapons will be more important, especially blunt weapons, which can help you stun animals with less efforts. In addition to the player’s combat skills, we have optimized some combat skills of pigs and wolves.

    3. Intensive Planting


      Adjustments have been made to address the previous problem of overly cumbersome planting in the middle and late stages. In addition to the previous reduction in gathering and fertilizing time, this version adds more advanced fields to help you to achieve the mass planting.
      We have introduced some larger fields with 1*4, 3*3 and even 4*4 sizes, including:

      These advanced fields are larger in size, and multiple seeds can be planted on a single field. The materials used to make advanced field are far cheaper than making multiple fields with the same area. In addition, new larger fields can help reduce the lag caused by multiple fields.
      The most important thing is that you can grow multiple crops with single field, and you only need to fertilize one field !
      When Fertilizer is applied on these larger fields, its effective time will be reduced. However, because you can grow more crops, the larger fields you plant, the more cost effective you will gain.
      When you obtain the memories for these larger fields, it will be a good idea to dismantle the old fields and begin to make larger ones.
      The special memories for these new larger fields can be obtained through some items like Flower of Enlightenment, Flower of Splendor, Fruit of Wisdom, and Pulp of Saint.

    3. Blessing of Abundance: The most effective fertilizer. When applied on a field, its effect can last a whole day.

Forecast for Subsequent Updates


With many things updated this week, we have a more clear vision and direction of the game’s whole content. In the future, we will further adjust the the production process(don’t worry, you will get more products with less resource. We will be more generous), redefine the water and the foods to reduce the pressure of water and food in the early stage, and add some ways by which character can strengthen themselves. We will add some new directions for animals to evolve.
In the design of combat system, we will further improve the actions and skills if possible, strengthen the differentiation of animals, equipment and weapons. Different attacks, defenses, properties and other aspects will be more distinct, so that the combats will become more strategic.
