We are happy to announce that we received the winning entry!
After analyzing dozens of entries we have received one that is absolutely legit. We have taken special care to review all the game data and are happy to say that we have a WINNER of the $10.000 Zero Reflex Contest.
The winning entry was received last week.
We would like to thank all of you who did your best in trying to beat the game. We hope you enjoyed the ride.
Since the game has been launched there have been over 80.000 users of the game, almost 1.000.000 sessions were played, and over 10.000.000 levels were opened.
A new update is coming really soon which won't contain the Contest Rules anymore. Also, we will keep both Nightmare and Hell mode in the game so all of you and future players will be able to play them.
Quick Fix - Pause
Dear Zero Reflex players,
We are doing our best to stay transparent with the Contest. That is why we have decided to show our effort to resolve all situations which might be unclear or vague.
A couple of the community members displayed their concern with the legitimate usage of the Pause button. To try to bring more clarity to the issue and prevent possible Pause button usage controversy in regards to a possible Contest winner we have made some changes.
the Pause button and function will now be available in each level only once,
if you use up your Pause button in any of the levels it will not be available any more in that play of that level,
if you return or advance to any level you will again have the Pause available for a single use in that play of the level.
We hope this makes things more clear and transparent and still let's you Pause the game in the case that your gameplay is being interrupted.

Techical Issues with weekly updates
Unfortunately, due to technical issues, we will not be able to ease one Hell level back into Nightmare each week. We will deliver the Nightmare levels just not on a weekly basis. The best thing we can do is make an update each couple of weeks with a couple of the level reverted back to Nightmare mode. Thank you for your understanding.
Contest Status
We have the results from the data analysis. According to the data, there have been no completions of the game in a sportsmanship manner without using hacks, cheats or exploits. The Contest is STILL ON!
P.S. the blacklist of users who have been trying to take the prize by using non-sportsmanship methods is growing though. So the chances for players who do their best to complete the game without using hacks, cheats or exploits are rising.

It has been 7 days since we updated the game. Since there were no major bug reports in that period we are sticking to the plan.
What does that mean for you if you want to be considered for the prize?
Here is what you need to do:
make sure you have the latest version of Zero Reflex - which has Nightmare in Hell mode,
make sure that you RESTART Nightmare mode - everyone needs to be on the same spot when we start - entries which were ahead in Nightmare will NOT be considered,
be the first to beat Nightmare mode!

Zero Reflex Holiday Update
We have big news to announce, some good, some bad so let's start with the good ones!
We are happy to say that these updates are coming with the new version:
seems like we managed to fix the Linux input problems, we tested it on a couple of systems and it's working, please let us know if it's fixed for you now or you still have issues,
we have prepared a new icon for you as a "Happy Holidays!" from the whole team,
the soundtrack that a lot of you guys have been asking for is finally ready and should be available as a free DLC very soon - yay!
And now a couple of the bad ones. The EYE was not amused by the attempts of some players to win the Contest by cheating. Thus it changed Nightmare mode. Now it's even harder! And unfortunately that's not all:
all of the Nightmare levels are now in Hell mode so be careful,
the duration of the Shield has been split in half,
the duration of the Bomb has been split in half,
the blue Continue button is NOT working the same way anymore, you can still use it but now it acts as if you died when you press it so it sets you back 1, 2 or 3 levels depending which mode you were playing.
DO NOT DESPAIR! The prize is still not won and we still have some power over the EYE so here is the plan:
after the update is out all of you have a 7 day period for training and getting used to the new gameplay,
after the training period is over we Announce the global date and time at which point the Contest continues,
the same rules still apply - first come, first serve - cheating & hacking disqualifies,
each week after the Contest continues one Nightmare level will go back from Hell to Default mode.
