FPS Fest Update

-2 new (short) secret levels (at least I don't think I added them before)
-You can now interact with doors, switches, etc while carrying objects (because it's convenient having 3 hands sometimes)
-Gauss gun has a zoom in secondary mode
-Changes to Map 2-1
-Improved gun feel
-If you interact enough times with humans, you can make them follow you, which is probably not very useful outside of hardest difficulty
-You can carry the corpse of many enemies, for the sole reason while I was testing, a corpse blocked a vent. otherwise it's probably 99% useless.
-fixed electrogun not electrifying water consistently
-Stuff I forgot ? maybe ?

Patch for Realms Deep 2023

So Zombaliens should be in the Realms Deep sale, and I thought I would update it to show it's still being worked on. I think it has been a while since last time.

I didn't keep track of all the changes, various bug fixes, quality of life changes... Here are a few :
-New main menu.
-Episode 1 maps reworked, with a bit more details and interactive elements and occasional other changes.
-New props include trash bags or fire sprinklers that interact with fire and electricity.
-New usable items include alien hand grenades (in alien pods), shields or Cthulhu plushies (it might have uses).
-You can now hear enemies footsteps.
-Improved effect when being hit by psychic attacks.
-You can make humans follow you.
-The Belittling Eye (Shrinker) has a larger radius.
-2 new secrets maps. 1 in episode 1 and 1 in episode 2. Both are short and the 1st one should be very easy to find. There are now 3 secrets maps in episode 1 and 2 in episode 2.

First patch for episode 2

-Fixed screen resolution was set to 640 * 480 when starting a game.
-Fixed texture resolution was at minimum when starting a game (hopefully)
-When scrolling through weapons, weapons with no ammo are skipped.
-Weapon "wheel" shows how much ammo you have.
-The crosshair changes to show interactive objects (It also depends on the weapon)
-It's now possible to rebind the mouse.
-Fixed setting a door on fire could burn the whole map.
-There is a small delay after death before the menu shows up.
-2nd boss is easier.
-Last boss is a bit easier.
-Changed electro cannon sound


Episode 2 Release

9 new Levels + 1 secret level
5 New weapons
4 New enemies (10 if you count variants)
3 Boss

There might be minor changes and polish to episode 1 but I didn't keep track.

I had trouble with Steam considering the game was still running after shutting it down but it seems it was because I had the editor running at the same time.

Patch 4

-An objective couldn't be completed in hard mode.
-I guess you can grab and throw some of the objects

Patch 3

Fixed a glitch where the default value for brightness was 0, making everything black.

That's like 2 more characters to the code, big patch.

2nd Patch

-Invert Y axis option added to main menu.
-Brightness settings added.
-Weapon wheel added (click mouse wheel)
-Swarm shooter homing capabilities slightly improved.
-After beating episode 1, you go back to the start but keep your equipment.
-Successes.
-2nd secret level should run a bit better.
-There's a new hidden secret weapon.
-Fire propagates.
-Improved leaning animations of enemies.
Old saves are likely to get broken.
