Trailer, screenshots and info for upcoming DLC
Hear ye, hear ye!
I have some exciting news to share with you today! I’m thrilled to reveal new details about the upcoming expansion for my medieval action-adventure game, 1428: Shadows over Silesia. The DLC is called Tourney at the Bear Rock and will be released on November 11th. To mark the occasion, I’ve also released a new trailer that captures the atmosphere of the medieval tournament you’ll be diving into.
In this new DLC, we’ll head to Pernstein Castle, where, in 1409, knights gathered to honor the beauty and virtue of Lady Madeleine, the daughter of the castle lord, through a grand tournament. You’ll step into the shoes of young Hynek, who isn’t just another participant trying to prove his skills—he’s on a secret mission with his own personal goals. Hynek has come not just to compete but to win and uncover a conspiracy, no matter the cost to his own honor and safety.
You can look forward to a new story, new characters, and plenty of puzzles and tough challenges that will test Hynek’s abilities. The DLC isn’t just about fighting on the tournament grounds; it’s about uncovering intrigues and secrets that will keep you hooked. I’ve packed in everything you loved from the base game, plus a lot more. It’s also designed to be a great entry point for new players.
Alongside the DLC, I’m also planning to release a major free update for the base game. This will be a kind of ‘Director’s Cut’ update. I want to balance the game one last time, trim some of the longer sections, and improve the weaker parts so that the player experience is as close to my vision as possible. If you haven’t played the game yet, now’s the perfect time to jump in! Mark your calendars for November 11th and check out the new trailer to get a sneak peek at what’s coming in Tourney at the Bear Rock!
Thank you all for your support!
