Patch 1.2 Preview

Hello Community,

As passionate indie developers we always want to provide something new to the players and improve your experience. Here is another honest attempt from our side to keep the game active.

What's new in Patch 1.2?

    <*> Press M for Map!
We have added a level map in the game which you can toggle by pressing M key from your keyboard. The map depicts a bird's eye view of the situation, letting the player know the position and distance of the enemy and other important landmark/checkpoints.

    <*> Skirmish Mode.
Another major feature will be included in this update is the Skirmish mode. This mode will have different missions/levels which will be fast paced in action and more dynamic in nature, but not related to the 1971 story. To start with we will have only one Skirmish mission/level in this update and more importantly we will ask the community to design the Skirmish levels and we will develop it on their behalf. The selected level will get updated in the main game with credits given to the member who has designed it. A separate announcement will be made regarding this Skirmish level design post our update.

We believe this community driven development is a win-win situation for us and for the players/enthusiasts who want to kickstart their career in game design.

Patch 1.1 Major Update

Significant changes have been implemented in this Patch. They are as given below:

  • Firing ship weapons from the third-person view.
  • Added Buoyancy and ship tilt while turning.
  • Improved ship weapon projectiles.
  • Enhanced Jet mechanics.
  • Framerate is no longer capped at 30.
  • Controller support added.

Patch 1.1 Announcement

Hello Everyone,

On the occasion of 77th Indian Independence year we are thrilled to announce our patch 1.1 progress. The changes in the game designed to give you an all new experience are as given below:

Improved Jet flying controls.

We had received feedback/reviews from the community about difficulties in flying the jets, which was originally designed very similar to birds from the Battlefield series of games. We went ahead and simplified the controls of jet. A dedicated post was shared earlier with a free build for the community to test it out and provide feedback. Here is the link to it.
New Jet Mechanics

Enhanced ship movement.

The ship movement has been improved with some realistic features. You will now notice that the ship tilts slightly in the direction where its turning. This was missing earlier.

Buoyancy.

Something we wanted to add from a very long time and its finally there. All ships depending on the size and weight will now simulate buoyancy, adding to the sense of realism during movement.

Main view firing from ships.

A complete transformation to the ship firing system. You can now fire directly from the main view of any ship, unlike previously when the player had to switch to the first-person weapon view to fire any weapon. Ships also have a binocular view now.

30 FPS capping fixed.

This was a major concern for us and thankfully it has now been resolved.

Controller Support.

As per the community's demand we have added controller support the game. This is only restricted to PS and Xbox style of controllers. We have not implemented support for flight yokes or HOTAS yet.

We look forward to going live with this update anytime in this month.

Operation Trident

A step-by-step video guide based on Operation Trident

  1. Follow the objective and move towards the Vantage Point.
  2. After moving for few kms you will be notified to turn off Radar, you can do that by pressing the R key. If the radar is on and you continue to move further, you will be detected by enemy patrolling jets and that's game over for you.
  3. On reaching the vantage point you can switch on the radar to identify the targets.
  4. A timer starts, indicating to complete the mission in stipulated time.
  5. At this point, the player is introduced to a game feature of switching between allied ships, by pressing Q key.
  6. Once you identify the targets, you would need to press 4 key to select the missiles. It's important to keep the radar on when selecting missiles, as you can program/deprogram targets only when radar is on.
  7. To fire missiles accurately at the targets, you would need to program the targets by selecting the target using L Ctrl + the index number shown at the top of the entity marker of the target. For example,
L Ctrl + 5 to program PNS Muhafiz (as shown in the video)
  8. Once the target is locked press LMB to fire missiles to destroy the selected target.
  9. Each missile boat carries 4 missiles and there are 8 targets to be destroyed. Here you can take advantage of switching between ships by pressing Q. Also refresh the radar by pressing R key when switching to another ship.

Seems complicated? Has a learning curve to it and involves decision making skills to complete the mission in given time.

Bombing a target!

Hello Community!

Our development progress is smooth, and we would be announcing a release period soon.

Step 1

  • Align your aircraft with the line of the target.
  • Keep the pitch as straight as possible.

Step 2

  • Once you are closer to the target press LEFT SHIFT (this key is being consistently used as an alternate weapon for any aircraft) to activate the bomb view, a crosshair will be drawn on ground/sea.

Step 3

  • Release the bomb by pressing RMB while LEFT SHIFT key is pressed.
