Greetings once again!
As always. we review the forums and emails that come in to our support team on a regular basis. Today, we're releasing a patch to fix some smaller but still potentially annoying issues that you've reported to us.
We think you'll be happy with some of these updates and just wanted to say thank you for letting us know what needed to get fixed. Once again we're very appreciative for all your help in continuing to make the game better.

Added server functionality to clean up old replays after 4 months if they have not been downloaded
Updated Master Text Mod file to match all latest new features
Superweapon countdown timers will sometimes get stuck in a ready state, or not appear at all
The skull and crossbones icon for defeated players doesn't always appear when a player disconnects
Occasionally a player may untick ready just as the host has hit start which caused the game to go into an unresponsive state.
Fixed a variety of Turkish text length problems

Alright! Time for a few balance adjustments per your feedback, and some desperately needed tweaks to one of our translated languages.
First - all those balance changes. We have been watching a LOT of games, and listening to your feedback and we are really close to an even win ratio across all factions. Still, we want to keep an eye on it and ensure that nothing in the game is under or over-powered. The changes we're making today should help keep everything in check.
Second, one of you pointed out that our Turkish language support was REALLY off - and it turns out that many of the lines were adjusted by one spot. This is fixed now, so please take another look and let us know if you find something wrong (with any of the languages..)

Starting units changed to 1 Grenade Infantry and 2 Engineers (was 2 Grenade Infantry and 1 Engineer)
Siege Artiller Speed reduced to 260 (as 280)
Heavy Drone build time reduced to 18 (was 20), Will now use rockets when targeting Paladins and Warriors.
AA Drone build cost increased to 100 (was 80)

8-Bit Invaders Game Maintenance Patch - 04/07/17
Hi 8-Bit Players!
Today's update is just a quick maintenance release in relation to our 6 new languages (Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, and Romanian.) These languages are now live and we are doing some testing with our localization teams to fix any visible issues. While the game is fully playable in these languages you should consider this BETA until our testing is complete.

8-Bit Invaders Game Update #11 - 03/24/17
Hi everyone!
We have quite a few tweaks for today's patch - plus some improvements to make the game more accessible to our players in other parts of the world.
Our update today includes support for 6 new languages - Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, and Romanian. These are being released as BETA and we know there's a little more to do yet. Please send us a screenshot of any text issues you might find if you're running one of these new languages.
In addition to languages, we're also making a good number of balance changes per your ongoing feedback. Let us know what you think!

PATCH NOTES:
The Wyvern and Gremlin units were using incorrect armor types (Heavy and Light respectively). They now are using the Air armor type as intended.
The Wraith and Gremlin unit tooltips showed a light attack when they in fact have no damaging attack - this has been fixed.
Map Circular Logic: Three resource positions moved; the resource points near the bottom of the start position ramps are now all on the same side of the ramp.
All infantry have had their stealth detection radius increased by 20%
All turrets have had their stealth detection radius increased by 30%
Rocket Copter: Range reduced to 700 (was 800)
Artillery (Renegades): Move speed reduced to 180 (was 200)
Sniper Infantry: Basedamage increased to 18 (was 15)
AA Drone: Build cost increased to 80 (was 60), Build time increased to 8 (was 6)
Arbalist: Build time reduced to 12 seconds (was 15)
Dragon: Base damage for Anti-Air attack increased to 12 (was 8)
Rogue: Weapon cooldown increased to 1.5 (was 1.2)
Pikeman: Health increased to 95 (was 80), Build cost reduced to 60 (was 80)
Aggressor: Range reduced to 700 (was 800)

8-Bit Invaders Game Update #10 - 03/03/17 @ 13:45 (PST)
Hey guys and gals - we've got more balance tweaks today as well as a highly requested feature we're getting in for your weekend today.
After all the big updates for February (Replays, Observer Mode, Metaverse, and Arena release), we've been very focused on balance. The good news is that we're getting a nearly universal thumbs-up on the changes we've made (with your help!) We have a few more for you today and we'll keep looking at it moving forward - as usual.
We're also making quickmatching more fair by supporting cross-spawning. This will prevent players from appearing directly adjacent to one another. Please let us know what you think of this new feature. Along with this change are a mixup in multiplayer quickmatch maps to keep things fresh.

PATCH NOTES:
Fixed issue preventing the Dragon from using its new anti-air attack at the intended max range.
FIDO units should now behave correctly with Attack-Move commands.
The resource fields have been adjusted on the Shipyards map. A new resource node has been added to each base start location in the back (within easy reach of the first refinery). Two resource nodes have been removed from the center area.
On the River Town map, two resource points added per side; one in the farm area, and one near the ramp by the opposite raised area.
Players will now cross-spawn in quickmatch games, which means that they will spawn in at the farthest points away from each other when starting the game.
Ogre - Health / Shields reduced to 200/100 (was 300/100)
Gorgon - Health / Shields increased to 230/170 (was 150/170), Build cost reduced to 360 (was 370)
Tripod - Health increased to 280 (was 200), Build cost reduced to 230 (was 260)

Harvester: The harvesters no longer crush. All other crushing units remain unchanged.
Rocket Copter: Build cost increased to 230 (was 200)

Starting Units: Overall Starting units changed to 2 Grenade Infantry and 1 Engineer (was 3 Grenade Infantry)

Light Drone: The target and AoE damage has been split out. The target will now take full damage while all other targets in the AoE will take half. The base damage has not changed.
DEATHSWORN
Dragon The dragon has been reworked to split out ground and air attacks. Ground attacks will use the flame breath as normal. For air attacks, the Dragon will now spit a fireball which does a flat amount of damage and applies a burning damage-over-time effect. The DoT does not stack.

Treant: Base damage reduced to 16 for target (was 20) and 8 for AoE (was 10).
Ballista: Move speed increased to 250 (was 200)
CRANIOIDS
General: Starting cash increased to 1600 (was 1200)
Motivator: Build price reduced to 300 (was 350)
Cranioid: Build cost reduced to 60 (was 70)
Research Lab: Build cost reduced to 900 (was 1000), Build time reduced to 30 (was 45)

With the recent release of 8-Bit Armies: Arena we've seen a good influx of new players join our ranks. It's been very exciting to have so many new faces join us and we're glad to have you all on board! Now, we have even more reason to celebrate...
FREE VERSION OF 8-BIT ARMIES: ARENA RELEASES TODAY We updated the demo of 8-Bit Armies to download a free version of Arena - but that didn't work and it was a little confusing. Many of you mentioned that you couldn't find our free version and after a good number of support requests we figured there must be an easier way.
Today, we're releasing the free version of 8-Bit Armies: Arena as a completely separate app to make it MUCH easier to find. Since we're all about introducing new players to the RTS genre, feel free to share a link to our Steam Store page so that we can grow the community together.
LOTS OF GOOD UPDATES AND FIXES We have some good fixes going in this week, mostly focused around Observer and Replay modes we recently released. Check out the patch notes below for a full list of improvements.

8-Bit Invaders Game Update #8 - 02/13/17
Hi all!
Hope you're enjoying our new Observer and Replay modes! We are working on a few other improvements for later on this week based on feedback we've received here in the forums.
Our release of the free version of 8-Bit Arena has been hard to find for some of you, so we're planning to release it as a free, separate game (not listed as a demo) so everyone that wants it can do so. Free players will still be able to compete in the large, general pool of players - there will just be more of them once we get it into everyone's hands. If everything goes well, this will happen in just a few days, in time for this weekend.
Today's update is a small maintenance patch with a few balance tweaks.

8-Bit Invaders Game Update #7 - 02/10/17
So much good stuff going on today!
We are excited to release TWO new features to 8-BIT fans out there. REPLAYS AND OBSERVER MODE.
Replays allow you to look through past matches that are stored on our server and get an eye on everything that happened across the battlefield. Just find the game you want, click and enjoy the show.
Observer mode lets you join a game that is about ready to start or one that is already in progress and watch the battle unfold in real time. It's incredibly fun to scroll around and see what each player is doing as they do it!
We also want to announce the release of our 8-BIT ARMIES: ARENA multiplayer game and the corresponding Trial/Free to Play version. This makes it VERY inexpensive to access all six factions in multliplayer. For those that just want to try it out or are fine with playing a pre-determined faction each day - it's free!
