Guns blazing update for the Swarm Mode ;)
Did you find the swarm mode meh? Bang, bang, bang and everyone dead? NO MORE!
Spawn system reworked! Even on easier difficulties, you get to be overwhelmed easily if you don’t pay attention. On Nightmare, it literally is nightmare. Prepare your a… khmm, prepare yourself!
Weapons buffed! You get to fire away like crazy now. Weapon mags are increased by 30-100% so you no longer need to worry about reloading. Speaking of which:
Wepxplosions! Some of you missed reloading in swarm mode, and felt sorry for their beloved instrument of death once it run dry. Stop it now! Throw your empty weapons into the mutant’s faces and watch them explode into bloody chunks. Delightful, isn’t it?
Weapon spawn times drastically reduced! Combine this with the previous points and calculate the ridiculous amount of bullets flying with explosions in the background.
Map reworks! Missed strategic layouts on the maps, hated running around? Now you can hate running around without missing anything! Teleport over obstacles, laugh at the stupid mutants while they try to get around before you shoot them to pieces!
Pickup spawners! Bad news for haters, running around and collecting health, armor and bullet time actually makes sense now! Stay alive longer or get yourself into horribly bad situations while trying to survive!
Music! It’s such a big deal, huh? Nah, it isn’t. But we finally worked it out!
Hidden stuff and loot! Look around carefully and you can find some free guns laying around. MOOOAR BULLETS AND EXPLOSIONS!
Reduced wait times between waves! You don’t need that much time to take a few guns, don’t you?
Removed barrel-placement phase! We don’t even know why was it in the game at all. Barrels now spawn automatically, eager to blow your enemies up. Or you. They don’t really care, believe me.
Somewhat improved enemy AI. Yes, they are still not the smartest guys on Earth, but well, what do you expect from some mutants who are the result of a science experiment gone awry?
More maps and improvements coming soon, stay tuned!
We're counting on your continued feedback! Keep it coming :)
New Update Coming This Weekend!
Hey Mutant-Annihilators,
Many thanks for all your feedback you sent us since last week!
Reading your suggestions and opinions about the demo and the chapter 1 story update, we started working on implementing some of them right away!
For example, we realized that many things are not quite obvious to new players of the game, so we started working on a new tutorial, we really hope you’ll see some of it in this week’s update.
Another big concern was that you wanted to holster the flashlight and melee weapons too, not just the guns - good news is, that after this weekend’s update, you’ll be able to do so :)
Edit: Some of you also mantioned that the game is too blurry - the next update is meant to fix this too as we're adding a new screen percentage slider (~supersampling) to the options ;) Yey^^
We’re working on many other things too to improve the game and your overall experience with it, and we’d like to thank you for all your feedback - keep it coming and let's make this game awesome together!
