Steam Summer Sale/What's Next
Today marks the first day of the Steam Summer Sale! There are tons of great deals to be found from many awesome developers, so make sure you take a look and see what's out there for you!

Outside of the Summer Sale, we're currently working on our 4.0 Release, which will hopefully go live within the second half of July. Within this update, you'll find some end game Earth balance tweaks we've been working on! We're going to try to "fill in the gaps" a bit to help with some of those accumulation deserts.

3.4 Update & "Insert Coins to Continue" Event
This update comes to you with a blast from the past! From a simpler time of hightop shoes, stone washed jeans and afternoons spent at the arcade. The main purpose of this update is to get everything prepped for the "Insert Coins to Continue" event, launching June 9th. Dust off those retro game references and get ready to make a fortune, one coin at a time.

3.3 Update & Live Event "Live Rich and Profit"
Welcome to the latest and greatest in Capitalism simulation! As always, let’s get to the heart of the update, as I’m sure you’ve already noticed that you need this version to play the upcoming Space Trade Show Event - “Live Rich and Profit!”

* You can now upgrade your Platinum Boost with Mega Bucks!
Additional Dev Notes
The ability to upgrade the Platinum Boost multiplier should be considered the way to effectively beat Earth and Moon in a reasonable amount of time. We chose to keep these upgrades to only be purchasable with Mega Bucks and not Gold. This system is meant to reward those players who have really put in the time on the planets and in the events. We didn’t want to speed players to the end, and we didn’t want it to be pay to win, so we hope you enjoy the better pacing in the late games, and get a great payoff for stockpiling those hard-earned Mega Bucks.

Welcome to the latest and greatest in capitalism simulation - Version 3.1! Please update your game in order to access the upcoming Event - ‘Making it Rain’, which starts March 24th! The Event features a brand new way to boost investments that we are effectively calling, Micromanagement!
We know the question about Earth's end-game is still out there as well. We are still working on adjusting the pacing to this part of the game and we hope to have everything in place for this very soon; ideally the next couple of months. Since this is affecting the largest and most in-depth part of the game, we are making sure the game is balanced in a way that is fun and applicable to the widest range of players, and in a way that doesn't break anyone's experience. It's a long process, but we are working on it and we will get it to you as soon as we can.
For those who have been affected by lost Angel Investors, or the 'Claim Angels' button not functioning, this should be addressed within this new update; however, since your progress is saved locally, we will still need to manually restore any lost progress.
If you are still having trouble with either of those issues (IE. Switching between planets and losing your Earth progress, can't reset for Angels when you have some to claim), please email us at "Adventurecapitalist@Hyperhippo.ca" and we can help!

3.0 Launch and "For the Love of Money" Live Event
Welcome to Version 3.0! This massive update includes a ton of exciting new features and of course you need to have this version to access the Live Event - ‘For the Love of Money’, which just launched!
So let’s get right down to business, shall we?
Itemization! That’s right, you asked and we answered. There are now 4 unique Suits that can be bought with Gold and equipped to your Capitalist of choice...? Collect them all as they have different superpowers that when worn on each planet will give you big boosts! They are the first Shop purchases that work across all planets as well! For those that already own the Gold Suit, we’ve got you covered ;)
If you’re still reading this, then you noticed we mentioned, “Capitalist of choice”! We’ve introduced the Female Capitalist character which can be selected under the all NEW “Career” menu, formerly known as “Swag and Stats”. Check it out since it now houses way more than just swag and stats. You’ll find Suits, Badges, News, Release Notes, Funny Articles, new Stats and more within this overhauled feature. You can even share your swag to social networks!
To celebrate the 1 year Anniversary of AdVenture Capitalist on Mobile, we have hidden a rare, limited edition, once-in-a-lifetime Red Suit in the Unlocks in the Valentine’s Day event. So make sure to checkout the Unlocks Gallery when you launch the event, and boost those profits to ensure you are one of the lucky ones to earn it!

Additional Dev Notes
The completely revamped Swag and Stats (now called ‘Career’) section and Itemization are the big headlines with this release, but there are a number of additional features and improvements worth noting:
- Added Flux Capitalor and Deluxe Flux Capitalor to the Shop on Earth (of course you get the Delorean swag item as well)
- We’ve scaled down the requirements to unlock planets in Mission Control so players can get intergalactic sooner!
- The x12 Multiplier is now a stock Shop item on ALL planets!
- We’ve added a First Time Buyer package for those Capitalists who have never bought Gold! It’s a great deal to get a bunch of gold and a bonus FREE x3 Multiplier! Check it out in the Shop.
- For those that are new to Capitalism, you’ll notice little [?] buttons throughout the game. These will just bring up helpful tips and hints to maximize understanding and strategy within the game!
- We’ve added a timer and rewards counter to the main event screen so you can better track how much time is left in the event and how many rewarded unlocks you’ve earned: Badges, Gold, Mega Bucks etc.
- You’ll notice the green glow on the investment icons that was in the New You Event when you unlock a boost for an investment is now occurring on all planets. This was just a little polishy thing to communicate that the boost indeed occurred!

It’s time to shape up and get in on the ‘New You Resolutions’ event, which is now LIVE!
Prepare to exercise good money management as you take on this challenging event. A new year means it’s time for a new you! (Cue montage) Will you take back your health after an indulgent Holiday, or will you give in to the junk side?
New You Resolutions are all about reaching your profit goals, and with success comes sacrifice!
Investments are paired together in this event and they actually affect one another. Choose wisely when investing in the unhealthy, fast paying options as they can sometimes negatively affect the highly profitable (but slower) healthy options.
The transformation to a more savvy, more profitable you starts NOW!
