Researching the Cosmic Raiment
Investigate the lairs of terrifying monsters and navigate mystical glens for more clues on Hazel’s research. This third piece is called the Cosmic Pauldrons. Once you have obtained all of the materials, you will be able to piece together your Cosmic item. If you so choose, you may ‘awaken’ its Epic power through collecting additional materials.
Note: If you are still working on piecing together the Garment or Wrap, check out the Research Crystal on Hazel’s desk. It’ll help get you back to the locations where you found the crafting materials for your item.
The Cosmic Pauldrons
Begin researching the third piece of the raiment by choosing the “Unearthing the Raiment” option when you talk to Hazel in the Loremaster's Lodge. Don’t forget to take your trusty Cosmic Companion along with you, so you can Turn In and Accept your quests while you’re away from Battleon.
Additional Cosmic Quests
When you have completed the current questline, you can Accept a Tangled Skein daily quest. These quests allow you to gather additional Threads for crafting all of the Cosmic items. Meanwhile, you can also Accept the repeatable “Gathering the Threads” quests to earn Threads specific to a certain item. The repeatable quests give you less Threads but you can do the quest as many times as you want in one day.

Since you loved these little guys so much, we added their alternate forms to the Collection. You can now choose to have Macawliday and Rapscallion as either a travel form or a pet… or both!

Gunpowder Mary has returned to Battleon with the 2023 Talk Like a Pirate Day Collection. Pick and choose your favorites from the collection or buy the Collector’s Chest to get everything in the collection plus the title “Barrel o’ Monkey”. Sneaky ol’ Captain Crisp has follow in Mary’s wake to get his revenge on Captain Rhubarb by selling Cursed Ship Summoning Runes. Summon Cursed Ships for your friends and the community and each successful defeat of the ships delivers a pile of loot to plunder!

Summon a Cursed Pirate Ship for your Friends!
Captain Crisp is a long time rival of Captain Rhubarb and he’s brought a whole lot of firepower with him to Battleon. With a Cursed Ship Summoning Rune a life-sized Cursed Pirate Ship will instantly appear and begin attacking with the full force of its cannon power. Sunder the cursed ship to plunder its loot! Every ship has a stack of Captain Crisp’s Tokens which can be used to purchase the rarer items found aboard a pirate’s ship. There is also a chance of looting some of Captain Crisp’s own ‘Crispy Dubloons’ to add to your own pocket.

This falchion serves a Sea Dog well with a sharp blade and a spiked crossbar for a deadly right hook!
The Sea Dog's Falchion weapon is included with all packages from the Upgrade Shop, including Guardian and Lore Strider. Guardian packages also give the Dead Man's Falchion. Check your inventory on your next login after purchase.
Note: All accounts that had made a purchase from the Upgrade Shop prior to this update on September 1st, 2023, were retroactively awarded these items.
What if I'm already a Guardian?
Great! When you buy any package, you will get both versions of the Sea Dog's Falchion directly added to your inventory.
If you miss the promotional period, Guardians can still get the Dead Man's Falchion. Head to the Guardian Tower to talk to Fortes. He has a shop for "Special Guardian Rewards" where you can buy the Dead Man's Falchion and any other special Guardian items released through these monthly promotions with Guardian Class Tokens. Make sure you have completed the Guardian Initiation to unlock class gear.

Researching the Cosmic Raiment
Explore dungeons and dark places for clues to the whereabouts of the pieces of the raiment. The first piece was the Cosmic Garment (armor) and now Loremaster Hazel sends you back out to find the materials to create the Cosmic Wrap (belt). Once you have obtained all of the materials, you will be able to piece together your Cosmic item (and future Cosmic Raiment pieces). If you so choose, you may ‘awaken’ its Epic power through collecting additional materials.
The 2nd Piece: Cosmic Wrap
Begin researching the second piece of the raiment by choosing the Cosmic Threads option when you talk to Hazel in the Loremaster's Lodge.
Your Cosmic Companion
The Cosmic Companion seems to have a special bond with Hazel. If you choose, it will tag along with you and communicate your research findings back to her. With the Cosmic Companion pet, you can resume the quest and turn-in your objectives on the go! Pickup your companion from Loremaster Hazel in her Lodge!

Aria has combined the Doggie Adoptions (pets) and Doggie Travel Forms shops into the new Doggie Stuff shop, plus she’s added new pets and dog-themed gear.
You can also choose to Adopt Klaus via a quest! Aria requires that you prove you can handle this little guy, but it’ll be worth it to finally have him as your own.

Dante, the Fiend Hunter
There is a fiend hunter named Dante in the Forge of the Forlorn, not too far from the Blood Fiend Guard. He is trying to rid his once beautiful home-plan of the fiendish influence of Nulgath. He is tracking down a fiend lycan called Valnaroth whom he has been hunting for a long time. Team up with Dante, assist him in defeating this great scourge, and earn the title “Archfiend May Cry”.
If you’ve never been to the Forge of the Forlorn, Aria can help you get there if you talk to her on the bridge in Battleon. Just tell her that you want to Assist Dante.

A pack of dogs will soon be chasing away the cats in Battleon for National Dog Day!
Just in time for International Cat Day, some really BIG cats have appeared in the Social District. They must have heard the calls of all the cat lovers on AQ3D’s social media!
These larger-than-life cats are ready to claw their way into your heart by dropping an assortment of cat gear and a special item called “Potent Catnip”. I wonder what that’s for… You can ask Rose when you turn in your Social Flyers and Party Streamers to get the new Silver Cat Headphones (or any other Social Event Prizes).
The arrival of these big cats has brought Aria to the Social District too. As the owner of the pet shop, Aria offers a quest to earn a special cat of your own.
