Item Augments and Gold Boost!
Augmenting Items with Stat Modifiers
Who is ready to stack some stats and customize their character build? Equipable items now have the chance of dropping with various stat modifiers. Modifier quality ranges from Defective to Fiendish, with a variety of stats being affected within those ranges, and the chances of getting a higher tier modifier is shown in a handy guide on the side of the menu. And, yes, these augments stack on top of Infusions.
If you have an item that doesn’t have a modifier yet, or you don’t like the modifier your item came with, you should visit Maximus in the Battleon Town Square. Appropriately positioned near Cysero’s Forge, Maximus offers stats upgrades via Infusion and, now, Augment Rerolls via the Augment System. Maximus will show you which of your items is able to be augmented, which you then select to be modified. Rerolls, like Infusion, cost Gold for each time you use it, so keep an eye on your money as you reroll. You can always come back when you have more.

Server Wide Gold Boost!
In honor of the release of the Augment System, we’ve boosted the servers with double gold rewards until next week’s release. Plus, Gold Boost tokens can be bought from the Potion Shop in the menu for an additional 50% Gold boost. Take advantage of all the extra gold you get while adventuring to try out Maximus’ Modifier Rerolls!
Also, we’re thinking of making Gold Boosts a regular end-of-the-month update. What do you think?
Phoenix Gear Troves!
Thok’s Phoenix Gear crafting shop gives a lot of gear! So we’ve made troves for those items to save your inventory and bank space if you choose to complete the Phoenix Ranks quests and craft them all. You need to complete a Phoenix Rank quest and earn its title to unlock the respective trove. Unlocking one of these troves also unlocks the Ornate Classic Phoenix Blade.
Wasteland Void Invasion Improvements
Increased exp/gold rewards on all voids
Increased requirements for Void Hunting
Voids level and hp has been increased and attack decreased
How does it work now? Every 5 minutes 8 Voids will spawn in the wasteland. A notification will let you know the Voids are invading lore. After the players defeat the Voids, a 5-minute timer will initiate on which the Voids will respawn. However, when and only when all 8 Voids are defeated, the 5 minute timer will begin to count down; incentivizing players to team-up and fully defeat a wave in order to spawn another.

A Blood Fiend Guard is now stationed at the Oversoul Anvil. Earn extra crafting materials from him to use at the Oversoul Anvil, newly stocked with more weapons! And then, help Thok and his fellow Paladins stop the Void Fiend Invasion into the Wasteland.

Nulgath is taking extra precautions in the Forge of the Forlorn. A Blood Fiend Guard is now stationed at the Oversoul Anvil. Luckily he’s looking to pass off some of his… responsibilities… to those looking to empower their weapons at the Forge with four new side quests.

Forged Anomalies
The Oversoul Anvil allows you to craft weapons of varying power. Even more weapons have been added to the Nulgath Nation Armaments shop, now with special effects for the ones with “anomalies”. Click on the anvil to start crafting the weapon most suited for you!

Stop the waves of Void Fiends escaping from the Oversoul portal into the Wasteland! Talk to Thok after you have completed the quests from the Phoenix Blade of Nulgath questline to unlock his “Void Hunting” quests. Earn Thok’s Approval and Nation Void Scraps for completing these quests by defeating the waves of enemies.
Void Hunting: Nation Invasion Waves Face new enemies streaming into the Wasteland every 5 minutes and defend our side of the portal from the invasion of Nulgath’s Void Fiends.
Void Hunting: The Root of the Problem (Daily) Adventure deep into the Hall of Eternal Waiting to track down and defeat Void Guards.
Quality of Life Adjustments
Oversoul Anvils: The anvils in the Forge of the Forlorn having an inconsistency opening menu while interacting has been fixed for easy access to players. Remember that one the left anvil is too cluttered with players; you can utilize the other anvil on the other side of the Forge map to open the same menus and crafting shops.
Fiend Hunting and Catacombs farming methods for Dark Crystal Shards: The drop rate of the quest Dark Crystal Shards in Fiend Hunting has been very slightly reduced after finding that the drop rate was slightly over-tuned.
Also, AFK timers have been added to the catacombs. Inactive players will be kicked out of the map after 5 minutes of inactivity to facilitate players farming through this method.

Take stock of your favorite weapons and gear because the Augment System is coming to give them brand new stats!
Return to the Oversoul to begin forging new powerful weapons at Poniard’s anvil in the Forge of the Forlorn. While you’re there, defeat any sentient blades you encounter. They now drop Nation Weapons Fragments, useful materials for crafting Nulgath Nation Armaments.
Uniquely Powerful Weapons
At the very same anvil where you crafted a mighty weapon for Poniard, the Forge of the Forlorn calls you back to it with many new and uniquely powerful weapons to craft. The anvil allows you to craft weapons with unique, or unusual, stats. For example, a weapon may offer a very high Critical bonus but reduces Haste. Or perhaps it only affects a single stat. It’s important to focus more on the description and stats when choosing your weapon than looks alone. The intention of implementing this system is to provide options to players without Best in Slot weapons (like Phoenix Blade of Nulgath II, 8th Betrayal Blade, Hex Staff, etc). These are mostly optional weapons for players trying to catch up, players at different level ranges, and players with different difficulty levels and different levels of upgrades.
So choose your weapon(s), and choose wisely.
