Lucky Envelope Daily
Turn in 5 Moonlight Biscuits for a Lucky Envelope and some Firecrackers! This is based on the real life tradition of giving red envelopes during the Lunar New Year celebrations which symbolize good wishes and luck for the future. Red envelopes usually contain money, so these Lucky Envelopes can be sold for 5000 gold.
Strange Happenings in Darkovia
Strange visitors are drawn to Darkovia’s Forest this Lunar New Year. Keep an eye out for anything strange and report back to Saber with your findings.
Horn of Hype Hotfix
The Horn of Hype had an issue where Party Blaze could be Stunned and Silenced making him unable to spawn anything. The hotfix went out on the same day, however, those who purchased the Horn of Hype before the fix have been reimbursed with a new Horn of Hype in their inventory. Blaze on!

Maurice, the bard of Heroes Heart Day will be returning to Battleon next week, shortly followed by this year’s collection.
"A long time ago the raw element of fire was threatening to consume the world in flames. Blaze sacrificed his body to control the flame, imbuing him with the power to control fire, ensuring it does not consume the world. The flame slowly burns away at his body and when he uses his power, there are severe consequences. He wants to be a light to the world, but the brighter he burns, the shorter his wick."
Blaze in real life is a programmer and game designer for AdventureQuest 3D. His passion is in class design and enhancing the social aspects of our game.
Battleon is a Bonfire
There is a Blaze in the Social District. Actually, there are FOUR different forms of Blaze to fight. As usual, talk to Rose to earn Social Flyers for Social Event Prizes. Plus, Blaze has a Daily quest “Illuminate the Shadow” which gives 100 BlazeCoins for completing it. You may also get lucky and receive the rare Chibi Blaze Pet as a drop.
In Battleon, Blaze has shops full of goodies to buy. The BlazeCoin Gift Shop has lots of hot weapons and armor sets, including 1 new armor set and 4 new weapons. You can also get BlazeCoins by defeating Gifting Inferno and Gifting Fire.
Blaze’s Birthday Shop has all of the same things as the Gift Shop but with a few extras, and everything here costs DragonCrystals. The Birthday Shop exclusive items are the Summoning items:

Horn of Hype
The latest of Blaze’s summoning items. Use the Horn of Hype, Fire Starter, and Wide Blaze Calling Card to summon an enemy for your fellow players to fight.
Use the Horn of Hype to summon a Party Blaze which, itself, summons up to 6 Firestarters, or something even more special. While Party Blaze is invincible, all spawns killed do drop loot. Party Blaze despawns after he has reached his summoning maximum.

Winnie's Tailor Scout Adventure!
Battleon’s Seamstress Extraordinaire has magical new clients… the Tailor Scouts! These powerful mages have an epic battle waiting for them on the moon; but, first, they need some improvements. Help Winnie gather the best materials to get the Scouts battle ready.

The Tailor Scouts have come to Battleon’s best tailor, Winnie, for new combat outfits. They are preparing for an epic fight and their current clothes are a bit battle worn. However, time is running out and Winnie is still short on materials. It’s all hands on deck. Will you help the Tailor Scouts gather the rest of the materials they need?

There’s nothing wrong with a little extra help. At least, that’s what Winnie thinks. You’ve proven yourself very capable, so she’d like you to join the Tailor Scouts in their big fight. They are going to eradicate the Xenoscythe invasion on the Moon.
Plus, Jongaar wrote an anime-inspired soundtrack just for this release.

Tailor Scout Gear
You’re an honorary Tailor Scout, thanks to all of your help! Collect the Glitter that appears when you defeat a Xenoscythe enemy and bring it back to Tailor Scout Melanie. With enough, you can get a full Tailor Scout outfit and a matching Sword or Wand, or both!

For a handful of DragonCrystals, you can have a magical travel trail in one of the colors of the Tailor Scouts, or even a rainbow trail with the most powerful magic of all: Friendship.

Blaze’s Bonfire is coming back fashionably late next week!
This week, we return to camp. A Fiend Shrade has appeared in Camp Gonnagetcha to terrify the campers. Head to camp to defeat him, and all of the other Shrades, to earn Fiendishly fun new items in this new Friday the 13th event.
Fiend Shrade
Nulgath’s influence in LORE has created a Fiend Shrade and he is terrifying the campers.
Head to the Shrade Pet shop to get a Fiend Shrade to lurk eerily beside you. Collect Shrade Scraps from defeated Shrades and give them to Dottie to collect Fiend Shrade cosmetics. Lucky campers who defeat Fiend Shrade will also get the Mega Machete.
Gaz’s Last Chance Shop
Gaz has collected all of the regular (non-Guardian) promo items from the past two years and put them in a shop. Now is your chance to get any regular promo item you missed out on. Gaz is offering these items for a flat fee of 1,000 Dragon Crystals. The Last Chance Shop is only open for a limited time and will leave his stall on January 31st. The promo items from 2021 and 2022 will then become Legacy.
Reminder: Guardians cam always purchase any Guardian-only promo item they missed from Fortes in his "Special Guardian Rewards" shop with Guardian Class Tokens.

January 2023 Promo Item: Axe of Nulgore
Forged in the Furious Fires of Mount Nulgore. This Axe holds the rage and fury of Nulgath and his followers. The Axe of Nulgore is included with all packages from the Upgrade Shop, including Guardian and Lore Strider. Guardian packages also give the Toxic Axe of Nulgore. Check your inventory on your next log in after purchase.

Next week is the first Friday the 13th of the year! Get ready for a horrifying new adventure!
Are you ready for the final boss fight of the year? Join us in AQ3D to complete the entire Lolosia Saga. Complete the Sea God’s Trident and reach the new level cap of 42! Plus, we’re preparing for the New Year’s Eve Live Events.
The Shipyard (Dungeon)
King Nautilus will help repair the trident but Atlantis will be vulnerable to the Sea Ogres with him being distracted by this task. Find the Shipyard and stop the Sea Ogre incursions once and for all. Inside this dungeon you will battle your way through Sea Ogres, dangerous sea animals, and… darkness.
Hint: Look for the sand paths and use pools of Light to combat the Darkness.
The Sea God Rises (Boss Fight)
Race to the water’s surface to face the Sea God once the trident has been reforged. Amongst the debris of shipwrecks, avoid the Sea God’s tentacles and combat his powerful attacks with help from your friends. You must find a way to subdue him to bring peace to all who sail, and live in, the sea. Talk to Aquella to replay the story version of this fight, or play the level 40 Challenge with up to 10 of your fellow players.
Note: There is also a chance to pick up a Coral Headpiece which resembles Atlantean Water Elf ears.
Aqua Soldier Gear (Level 40+)
You can obtain pieces of Aqua Soldier gear from the Shipyard and the Sea God fight. However, Sulfin has returned to his shop with Kenai in the city of Atlantis. They have shops to help you acquire missing pieces and upgrade their power stats, if you like.
King Nautilus Set (Cosmetic)
The Royal Guards know how you can get your hands on a set of King Nautilus’s clothing. Earn enough Royal Favor to persuade the palace tailors to let you take home a set of your own.
2022 Frostval Collection
Huzzah, it’s here! Visit Blizzy in Battleon or in the town of Winter’s Grasp to get the 2022 Frostval Collection now. Buy the Collector’s Chest and get the title “Frosted”.
Elvira is Preparing to Leave AQ3D
Elvira has moved next to the Travel Portal in preparation to leave the game. All access to 20th Anniversary content has moved with her and is only available on Elvira now. When Artix finishes his Live Events on New Year’s Eve, Elvira and all of the 20th Anniversary content will be removed. The individual mini-game maps will return to the game permanently after we have done some re-working to completely remove some of our special guests from the content. 20th Anniversary Troves will be able to be completed when the maps return.
Artix will be back for his New Year’s Eve Live Events to ring in 2023 around the world. This year he will only be able to host 3 Live Events, but we encourage you all to ring in the new year with your friends in AQ3D as well.
