Shark Attack War
Visit Annette in Battleon or on Pointe Less Isle to help her with the Shark Attack quests and join the Summer war. There are five quests available including a repeatable Fishing quest for those of you who just want to chill on the shores while helping. Quests give a stack of Shark Attack Tokens which can be turned into Pointe Less Trophies with the quests. Redeeming Pointe Less Trophies boost the war meter and can be used to buy your war rewards as they unlock in the Summer Shark Attack Shop.

Vetroid Jellyfish Egg?
The pet and travel form in this year's collection has not hatched yet. Expert Cryptozoologists believe that these mysterious blue eggs will hatch into a Vetroid. Typically they are deep sea monsters. But, what would happen if one of these eggs hatched into the open air? Experts speculate that the Vetroid would gain the ability to breathe oxygen and float effortlessly in the air-- very much the same way their deep sea relatives do in water. One thing is certain. Vetroid eggs ONLY hatch once a year and they ALL hatch at the same time. And that time... is within next week!

The story fight you experienced has been expanded and new mechanics have been added for a more exciting and dangerous challenge! Also, Kai-Lee the Pet Vendor in Bastion has an overstock of new Sandsea pets. Get them before they're gone!
Crocos Pyramid Guard
Return to the Crocos’ Pyramid and talk to the guard stationed there. He has two new quests for you to acquire related to the Crocos Challenge. Both quests are repeatable and give a large amount of Experience Points for the grind ahead. Completing the main quest, “Trouble in the Water Pyramid”, will also reward you with extra Crocos’ Teeth, which you’ll need to purchase items from Crocos’ Treasure shop. Furthermore, the guard may have something interesting to tell you about the pyramid’s water...
A Challenge Awaits You in Crocos’ Pyramid
This challenge is an expansion of the story dungeon with new mechanics and loot! But overcoming this challenge will take a lot of teamwork and resourcefulness! Take, for example, the new Gill Potions that will randomly drop from the challenges mobs. The Gill Potions will allow you to breathe underwater for a short period of time. Why would that come in handy? You’ll have to play to find out. Word of advice: You may want to bind that Gill Potion to a hotkey the first chance you get. You never know when it may come in handy. Completing the challenge will provide you with materials you can use to craft your own Gill Potions from Fahad outside Lord Sekt’s temple.Gill Potions aren’t the only fun new surprise to be found in the Crocos Challenge. Areas that were once locked or seemingly too dangerous in the story mode are open for you to investigate. What will your search yield? Perhaps there’s a quest related to that…
Let Sleeping Mummies Lie
Somehow, someway, you’ll discover that secret hidden in the challenge that’ll allow you to complete the Pyramid Guard’s quest “Let Sleeping Mummies Lie.” Doing so will not only give you ample experience and gold, but it will also unlock an enhanced version of the challenge boss fight. Defeating this enhanced boss will reward you with an “Exalted” chest and an additional special reward chest for going above and beyond. The Exalted chest contains higher drop rates for set items, an exclusive “Crocos’ Champion” title, and a chance to get the Lil’ Scorpion Fish Pet. The special reward chest includes… well… best not to say too much about that yet other than it’ll come in handy for a future release. So, what’s the secret to completing this quest? Well, that’s for us to know and you to find out!
Crocos’ Treasure Shop
Bad RNG on your Crocos Pyramid runs? Take all of the Crocos’ Teeth you’ve earned back to the Pyramid Guard. You can use your collection of Crocos’ Teeth to purchase the entire Epic rarity Keeper of Water set from the Guard with Crocos’ Teeth (excluding the Alternate Armor and Belt pieces which can only be acquired from the Challenge Boss). The treasure shop is also the only place to acquire the Keeper of Water Scythe, so save up to acquire that beauty of a weapon!

Kai-Lee’s Pet Shop now has an overstock of new Sandsea pets! She has scarabs, she has snakes, she scorpions, and… Living Cacti?!?! Well, whichever is your fancy, they come in just about every color and price range. Kai-Lee just needs a little help first… Help Kai-Lee research the Do’s and Don’ts of handling these wild pets to make them available in her shop. And don’t forget, Skiffmaster Squint is now able to take you directly to the Rebel Camp if you have unlocked it through the saga. Simmi-Tar and Paul DeRonn’s quests have also received reward boosts.

Sandsea's Deadly Monster Quests
Return to the Rebel Camp
Schmoe and Brienne the Blacksmith have some monstrous requests. Kill deadly monsters around Sandsea and use their monster parts to craft deadly weapons!
Mamba Mia!
Meet Schmoe, the hydration specialist for the rebels. Buy potions and water bottles, visit his Hydration Station for Moglinade, or take on his special quest "Mamba Mia!" The cave snakes and their Mamba mama snake have moved into his favorite hangout spot in the cave. Clear them out swiftly and he'll give you 5 Rebel Rubies as a reward.
Deadly Monster Parts
Return to Brienne the Blacksmith in the rebel camp for a new quest! Help her out by killing three of the deadliest monsters in the Sandsea: King Nolagem, Sting, and Sliteroth. She'll pay you in Rubies and Monster Parts which you can turn into level 35 Deadly Monster Weapons. Just make sure you have some Sandestine Alloy on hand for crafting. Craig the Intern, located in Nigel Fuzzybum’s office in Bastion, can help you acquire the rare alloy if you need some.

Lord Sekt has agreed to help you find the magic lamp, but on one condition: you must find and kill the rebel leader Zhoom! Think you’re up for the task? Well, good news, because Sgt. LeCosta has information on where the rebels might be hiding… but you’re not going to like where it leads you. So if you’re brave enough to venture into a maze-like cave infested with scorpions and other creepy-crawlies, then you’ll find your bounty. However, don’t be surprised if there’s a fight waiting for you when you do.
Zhoom
Ruthless assassin? Noble leader? Something in-between? You’ll find out who Zhoom truly is when you embark on your search for the rebel camp. How he’ll respond to your efforts to hunt him down is anyone’s guess. But don’t make the mistake of thinking he doesn’t already know who you are, which may lead to some interesting developments in your quest for the lamp.
The Rebel Camp
Danger and sword fighting aren’t the only things that await you at the rebel camp. While there, be sure to seek out Brienne the Blacksmith for new level 35 armor she's wearing and Trader Josephine to trade your Bastion Bucks and leftover monster materials for Rebel Rubies. (*Rebel Rubies are only valid in shops provided by the Rebel Camp; restrictions apply where necessary*)
Short on Bastion Bucks? Bastion's economy is booming lately and now even Bobby B can afford to send you on a quest for 50 Bastion Bucks each. You don't have to tell him what you're spending it on... XD

As you search for the magic lamp, the Voidrakar threat continues to loom in the periphery. High Priestess Azella promised Vane the Void King that she'd deliver the lamp to him, and she has been waiting for the right moment to make her move.How does immortal Lord Sekt's magical prowess measure up to the power of the Void? Defeat your opponents' officers and earn new weapon rewards in this week's update to the Legion vs Golden Order Assault event! Dage created an enormous stash of items his birthday collection and event so we decided to add some extras to the event map. The new weapon rewards have a small chance to drop when you kill an Officer in the assault.

Earn two additional weapons for each side of the assault when you kill an officer of your opponent's side, either Paladin and Legion. Legion
Dage has been hard at work in the Soulforge. This year's collection introduces full sets of Legion Ranger, Legion Priest, and couture armors. Also, dark weaponry, a giant spider travel form, pet, bow, fishing pole, and... well, see the full list of 2021 Dage Items.
As Legion forces advance to harvest Paladin souls for Dage.... Lionfang's Golden Order of Paladins is fighting back! Choose a side and fight for glorious victory and epic gear.

Head to your home town of Battleon and talk to the Legion or Paladin Emissary to join the fight! They are at the base of the bridge in town. Select your repeatable quests to earn crafting tokens before traveling to this intense new 5 vs 5 map.
Fight for your side...
The Golden Order and the Legion start on opposite sides of a map under siege by the other. Protect your allies as you fight through and advance to the opposing side. Golden Order Paladins fight alongside ethereal Apparitions and a Pala-Tron while the Legion has monster allies. Battle for either the Legion or the Paladins. Both sides have unique rewards. Currently, the story does not lock you to picking one faction... so you are able to earn the rewards from both. (.)

Brocas the Dreadstrider (Travel Form)
Watch your foes flee in arachnophobic terror as you ride this glorious 8-legged travel form across the battlefield. Extra horrifying when you see it running at 160% speed.
Long Un-Live the Undead Legion!
Dage's Underworld and his Arena of Souls If you want to officially join the Legion, travel to Dage's Underworld using the portal or the travel button in your adventure menu. Once there you can battle through his saga and face the survival challenges. The Arena of Souls is the hardest challenge so far. Fight your way through an onslaught of terrifying minions and horrifying boss monsters to prove yourself worthy of being one of Dage's Legion. There are alternating waves of different types of monsters to fight through... skeletons, spiders, skeletal dragons... but it will be worth it for those loyal to the Legion. Dage will allow those who are victorious to craft Epic level Legion Heretic gear from his personal collection.
P.S. Last Chance for Frostval stuff. We'll be removing the Frost Labyrinth maps, Gift'thulu and its shop, and the Frost Siege until the snow returns in December. Revisit these maps for the last time until next Frostval.

Squint’s Skiff Adventure
Man the harpoons! If you want to get to the pyramids in one piece, Squint and Gil will need your help to protect the skiff from the Sandsea desert’s most fearsome monster yet… the Sharken! Dagger has created an exciting first-person shooter-type experience. Fight creatures on the boat and gather supplies in between Sharken sightings where you will man a harpoon. Clicking a harpoon allows you to fire at the Sharken in a first person perspective. Performing a non-attack action will let you resume control of your character.
Sekt, the Undying Pharaoh
No spoilers, but Sekt is not a pharaoh to mess with. Stand your ground against his personal guards and he will consider your request for help in finding the magic lamp. Of course, being granted a favor by Lord Sekt comes with strings. He wants you to deal with his Zhoomer problem first.
Level Cap Raised to 35!
After completing the story, you’re going to need some new armor to go with all of that new XP! Simmi-Tar has you covered with new level 35 Mastercraft armor and weapons. If you’re not ready to head back to Bastion yet, Fahad can make you a full level 34 set of armor and a weapon made from… Cacti??? Level 35 is also our new endgame, so check out our posts on Item Infusion and Capstones to learn about all of the cool new endgame content available with this release.
Item Infusion is our newest and most exciting feature in AdventureQuest 3D. It’s also a little complex... So Blaze, the dev behind it, shared the details with me in an interview. Read on to learn about Item Infusion.
Glisel: Today we are going to talk specifically about Item Infusion… or item fusion…? Blaze: It’s Item Infusion.
Glisel: I don’t know if you know this, but item fusion was what we originally had in mind in the AQ3D Kickstarter where you can combine a cosmetic with a stat item or a lower stat item with a higher stat item to keep the better stats, but that became our current build where you can just equip a cosmetic over a stat item instead. Blaze: I actually didn’t know about item fusion. It’s kind of funny that I came up with it totally independent of that.
Glisel: So… What was, or is, your goal with this feature? Blaze: The goal is to… give players something to do at endgame and reward them for logging in every day and really staying dedicated to the game. This is for the hardcore players who want better stats. Now they are able to do that with Item Infusion.
Glisel: Now let’s go into details. In PTR there was a level requirement of 35 to access this feature from Cysero’s shop. Is the level requirement staying? Can you see the option to infuse your weapon at Cysero’s shop if you are below that level? Blaze: It is not staying. It was doing that so we can test. It is a system that you can infuse at any level you want. So if you’re level 10 and you want better stats, you can do that. This system is an upgrade to the power offset system that I created a while ago. Some people were confused by the plus on an item. It increases the power of items when they drop from NPCs. So, like, a level 15 item would have a certain power of like 100, let’s just say. If you were almost level 16 and killed a monster at level 15, it would drop an item at the power of almost 16. So it would level with you. So that’s what the pluses were. Those are staying but you can now use the infusion system to top it off.
Finally! Get Healer class now in AdventureQuest 3D! We’re really proud of Healer. The goal was to have more heals compared to other supports and really strong buffs. Focused almost completely on empowering the party. It was always about healing those players and buffing them. We wanted one skill to feel super strong, a massive attack that feels really good. Because it is limited to buffing your party, we were able to make it more powerful. It should feel really good in a group, but also solo-friendly. We defined what we wanted beforehand and designed with those aspects in mind, so newer classes, including Healer, have been smoother in bringing them from concept to release.
In the official Healer Class post, AdventureQuest 3D Dev, Rabblefroth, gave us the details on what’s new to these support classes and what it took to create the Healer class.
This week's release is a huge one! Good luck being on of the first to achieve level 35, obtaining the new healing class, trying weapon infusion, and exploring the newly unlocked story areas of the Sandsea!

Oh, hey mobile players! We added the ability to create a bridge that you can use to go over the parkour challenge in the Sandsea Aquifier. Finish up this adventure before the Sandsea Saga continues next week!
Hope you are excited for next week's big release! It needed a little extra time to cook in the oven before we served it.... so everything will be releasing all at once next week. The level cap will increase to level 35. All players will be able to obtain the new class, Healer. It is a super fun support class.
And the new healer class will be handy as you take the sandskiff out to the pyramids to finally come face to face with the Pharaoh Sekt. There will be new monsters, and new battle mechanics as you search for the Sandsea's most wanted rebel leader, Zhoom! Additionally, Item Infusion will be added to Cysero's forge. Item infusion will allow you to power up your statted items by infusing them with runes.
