Adventurer Manager

2.1.1 Quick patch

Hi Everyone

Since we got so much feedback on it, I've readded Right-click functions, and made sure any instructions in game reflects that. Also added the version number to the bottom of the screen when loading the game.

I have also allowed quick salvaging with right click as well.

You can still perform the new alt/cmd click to perform the same functions as right clicking in game.

Patch 2.1.0

Additions / Changes:

  • Teleport system within the Endless Tower. You can pay a fee in certificates to go up every 5 levels you have made it previously.
  • Removed the need to right click all together. Anything you would do with right clicking before now takes alt-click if you’re on windows, and cmd-click if you’re on mac, with an exception to picking up items from the ground. That’s just a standard click.
  • Brought down mob health slightly. A little more significant on boss mobs
  • Rebalanced skills and ranks a bit, in order to make purchasing ranks feel more worthwhile. May fine tune more after community feedback.
  • Added a couple of low chance special floors to the Endless Tower with an achievement!
  • Crafted gear in the Endless Tower can go above ilvl 50 now -- if you have a maxed out party.

Fixes:

  • Mac clients were still having reported issues saving. I’ve fixed that now. Should be good to go.
  • Found a couple more sources where bad items could be generated and removed that. Hopefully this addresses the issue where the game was freezing up when loot was generated.
  • There was a couple of misplaced tutorials. They should happen in the proper order when you listen to the Jester.
  • Level Requirements can’t go above 50 now… That is unless I add a bit to the level cap ;)
  • Removed the Label rename for gear in the tower. I’ll have to readdress this later, but it was causing issues with crafted gear being saved properly in between game sessions.
  • The exit button was hidden for the endless tower shop in certain resolutions. moved that to an easier to find location.

What's Next:
More bugfixes, and getting steam offline mode to work a little more reliably. It is a single player game after-all.

2.0.1 Patch

Very quickly folks!
- Fixed brand new players not being able to make save games. Sorry bout that!
- Fixed a display issue in the endless tower with the Sunken Ship level.

2.0.0 Patch

Hi everyone! 2.0.0 Patch is now deployed.

The Endless Tower DLC is under review and will be purchasable Dec 8th, 6pm PST.

Endless Tower
Welcome to the Endless Tower, a bastion of foes lost to time. Here you will be able to battle never-ending waves of foes which will challenge you more and more the further you get in the tower! The higher up you get, the greater the rewards will be!
· Every couple of levels, the tower will increase in level at the strength of foes it throws at you.
· Every 10th level contains a crafting floor. You can make some mighty fine gear here. The higher the floor, the stronger the gear you can craft!
· Once you leave the tower, you’ll have to start back at the bottom of the floor, so do not leave if your adventurers have life left in them!
· Time stops completely while in the tower. Your adventurers will not age. Time will not pass, nor will Miraj be able to invade your towns.
· Coffee is the ultimate energizer! Your adventurers won’t have their endurance lowered while traversing the tower.
· For something brand spanking new, every floor will have a random layout. You’ll never know where the boss, or treasure for that matter, lies.
· Collect Gift Certificates inside and out of the tower. You will need this to forge gear.
· 12 Spankin’ new achievements!

Bugfixes
· Fixed issue with wrong door appearing in shops. You won’t see other towns stealing the doors of their friends.
· Horus now has his own icon in the bestiary! The sun god of war and protection smiles upon us once more.
· Fixed wording of Allegiance tooltips and added information for Level 2.
· Really fixed the chest/item bug crashing dungeons for real this time. I hope. Maybe.
· Fixed a small list of text/display bugs.

Changes
· New sounds abound!
·· A notification when it’s a character’s turn.
·· Added a few missing sounds
·· A new sound when defending
·· Encounter start and victory sounds!
·· New ambient music added to the game to make the world feel a bit more alive.
·· Each town has their own ambient themes, as well as each season, and dungeons.
·· You can adjust the volume for ambient sounds in the options menu.
· Added Dialogue Pop-Up notifications in dungeons. Who doesn’t like toast?
· Gave dialogue and tutorials more of an old school RPG feel. You can disable this feature in options, and the sound by squelching character voices.
· XP gain has been increased somewhat across the board.
· We wanted to make the manual dungeon adventures go a bit faster. So we’ve sped things up a bit.
· Less time between turns and actions!
· When the adventures want out, they want out, so they make a mad dash for the portal.
· It’s a sprint, not a marathon. Well, that’s the attitude the adventurers have while moving between rooms now.
· Selling items will restack items when sold.
· You can now doubleclick to buy/sell/gamble! Alt clicking still works.
· When hiring, you can see Primary Stats in green, and secondary stats in Blue for each class.
· Highlighted Allegiance levels in green for readability.
· Removed Enemy Health Bars on enemies. It was quite redundant.
· Added level to Monster name.
· Some NPCs have undergone personality reassignment as per the wicked Miraj’s commands. Much of the dialogue has been changed.
· Added Some new battle tunes! Battle away in style and rhythm!
· Shiny new company logo! Represent!

(Added a small little patch I didn't feel needed an incriment to address a couple other issues listed below)
· Made the company logo look a little nicer.
· Fixed a couple of unexpected sound issues with battle music
· Time is moving in normal dungeons once again.
· Hope you stocked up on Tutorial Short Swords, cause I removed him from the weapon shop.

Another Miraj - AM No Longer Going Free

You've spoken, and we've listened to the concerns of our current customer base that have already supported us for some time now; and that carries weight with us. So, we've decided that we cannot move forward with releasing the base game for free, at this time, or at any point in time in the future.

We appreciate the Community and Gamers who have invested their time and money into our game, and thus our future as an Indie Studio.

We are still celebrating the 1-Year Anniversary of Adventurer Manager, along with the release of the first DLC "The Endless Tower", so there will be a 3-Day Special Promotion for the Base Game of 75% OFF starting tomorrow on the 8th of December, 2015.

You're all such an amazing community to interact with, and we fully appreciate each of you for helping us see, and conquer, our own Miraj. :therogue:

Adventurer Manager Going Free to Play [Cancelled] + DLC Announcement

It is our pleasure to announce that Adventurer Manager will become a Free Game this December 8th, 2015. We’re working with Steam and Green Man Gaming to ensure that, what we call, the ‘base game’ will be available for Free in their stores.

It's our pleasure to announce the first DLC Release, The Endless Tower, for Adventurer Manager; along with a Special Promotional Sale of 75% the Base Game on its One Year Anniversary!

[strikes]At the same time we will also be releasing the first, and potentially only, DLC Product for Adventurer Manager called: “The Endless Tower”. The release date for The Endless Tower DLC will be on December 8th, 2015 with a price tag of $1.99 USD.

The DLC, Endless Tower, will be a way you can support the new development team that has been bugfixing and updating the base game since its release, and working on the DLC; as they each get a direct royalty share from the income it generates. Such purchases will also go toward supporting any future Quality of Life improvements in the game, and potentially adding features that were once previously cut, or unable to be featured due to technical constraints at the time. It will also provide the developers a deep caffeine and cake supply to last through our new development projects coming up in 2016.

DLC Release Date: 12/8/2015
DLC Cost: $1.99 USD

Bug Bounty System

Starting on December 8th, 2015; we will be introducing our “Bug Bounty System”. This will be a way for us to reward our community for helping us with bugs; as they put in the time, feedback, and work to helps us identify, track, and fix… well, bugs. It’s supposed to be a game right? It’s not your job to run into bugs, report them, and potentially help fix them. Since we’re a small Indie Studio with no budget, and no dedicated internal play-testing group… a few squeeze through.

When you report a bug through the Steam Forums; a developer will then attempt to validate the bug. If the bug is valid, we’ll note the first few people to report it. Then, when the bug is fixed, we’ll try and contact those users via email to send them a Digital Amazon Gift Card for their troubles, and our thanks! The values on those Gift Cards will dynamically be assigned to the weight of the bug, and be at the developer's decretion. An example; a typo in a skill might get you $5… while reporting a skill isn’t working, at all, might get you $20.

To Our Community

We appreciate everyone that’s taken the time to give us feedback on our first major title, Adventurer Manager, as an Indie Studio. The negative feedback was/is very priceless to us; as it allows us to learn from our mistakes and correct them as we continue to develop as a whole. We truly hope that our community knows that we listen, interact, and respond to discussions and feedback; and that it was apparent through our actions. Lastly, to everyone that was able to take the time to leave us your thoughts, through reviews or on the discussion board; you have a very special place in our hearts.

We have new projects already underway for the 2016 season and look forward to sharing that information with you at the beginning of the new year. You might be able to catch a few peeks on our Social Media channels in the near future (Facebook/Twitter).

1.0.084 Patch Notes

Hi!

Just a couple of quick fixes after some feedback. DLC still in development!

- Fixed the issue with the rooms freezing up while opening treasure chests
- New Level Up sound -- We're going through and revamping some of the music, so let us know what you think!
- Replaced the Config window image

Thanks for the feedback, and we'll keep making changes!

1.0.083 Bugfixes!

Hi all!

We have fixed the issue with Invasions not resolving properly. A big thank you for all who contributed in the troubleshooting of this issue. That being said, check the general forums for my stickied post. We're looking for a couple of good folks eager to test new changes.

In order to fix the invasion, you will have to abandon the current one and let it sack your town. I know this sucks, but all future invasions you have will work properly, and give the proper rewards now.

Additionally the following changes have been made:

- Endless Tower will no longer be targetted as an invasion.
- When an invasion auto stops the fast-forward, the button is now properly updated as well.
- Removed the Music Selection option in the options menu, as that is an unfinished feature at the moment.
- New VA Logo! I hope you all dig it :)
- Added a small Adventurer Manager logo to the config menu.

I'm aware there is an intermittent issue with the game controls not drawing completely when coming upon a chest or event in a manual dungeon. We're looking into that right now, and once I have that fixed, I can finish the DLC!

Thanks everyone

1.0.081 Emergency Quickfix

Hi everyone!

So, it looks like the previous developer (not the original guy, MajicPanda) had enabled a dev cheat for testing that would level everything in multiples of 99 depending on the stat, if you pressed the space bar.

I have contacted our orbital space cannons and commited that particular section of code into oblivion.

I apologize to anyone who was affected by this doing something cool, like an Ironman run. I'm sure there might be another bug or two still located out there left by the previous programmer (who we do not have contact with), and I'll make sure that further testing is done before any further releases.

1.0.08 Bugfix Patch

Hello everyone! We have released a patch for Adventure Manager which addresses the following:

Fixes:
- Invasions sometimes don't save boss completion data for turn-in
- When removing values for one party member, you can go to the next character and steal their stats (plus sign and available stats will still be there)
- Boss Main Health Bar Color doesn't match status bar health color.
- Invasion granting High Level items
- Bleed/DoT dmg killing mobs doesn’t give credit for quest

Additions:
- Updated Music in game to bet a little less loud by default.
- Heals and Buffs should no longer fizzle out (miss).
